A couple hours into the night, they eventually come to a halt, to see a man in the middle of the road, he wore a blindfold covered in blood, and held an axe in hand, he did not move or talk, he just walked into the forest, completely ignoring them. "I don't think this road is very safe, I'll kill the engine until morning." Jim said worringly.

Alright. Echo muttered, taking her last puff before throwing the butt out the window. After a few moments of silence, Echo broke it. May I ask who is Burke? Tell what happened to you guys back there in NY.

"... We entered the labs through the lobby, blood and gore was everywhere, and we took the elevator. When we were heading down, an FEV sliced the cable and we jumped out into the shafts, and we were sepperated, I was on the twelvthe and Nix was on the 11th, I entered a room with two largely built muscular body guards and Mister Burke, apparently the second in command, he tried to make me make a deal, where If i was his expirement, he would let you and the others go, I was hesitant. I through a tranquilizer into his throat and knocked him back, then we had to escape, but Nix was injured and infected, so I carried her up with me."

Woah... she muttered, hearing the blow-by-blow account. Of all the people, why did he want to experiment with you? Are you guys connected somehow?

Echo thought a bit, not knowing how to say it. Looking at Nix, then Jim she muttered, I was once in a situation where a person so close to me got infected. I tried so hard to find a way for a cure, but sadly, it was too late. He became one of them. she paused then continued, I ended up killing him, but what hurts is I waited for him to turn to that, instead of giving him the dignity to die like a human being. Jim... Do we really have to wait for her to turn before we kill her? She firmly held her weapon, and looked at Jim with all seriousness. If you were in her position, wouldn't you ask for us to kill you? Wouldn't you?
((This is probably the reason why my character would be killed. LOL))

Jim noticed a light go on in a building ahead,"stay here," Jim warned both of them, and got out of the car, shotgun ready, and headed for the small building. As soon as he entered, he saw streaks of blood, he walked into the other room to see two corpses, and turned around, a man with an electric circular saw swung at him, but missed as Jim fell to the floor. Soon Jim found himself struggling to avoid being diced by the saw as the crazed man pressed it against Jim, it slowly got closer, until it finally reached his chest, cutting open a wound,"GAHHH!" Jim screamed and forced the saw to the side, and cut the doctors leg, and Jim got back up, grunting in sheer pain.

"Why does he insist on going on alone in a world like this?" Nix said as she got out smelling the blood already. Her eyes became blood red again as she siftly made her way to the building. She saw Jim with the wound open again and saw another man with another chainsaw making his way toward him. Nix shook her head and covered her nose not wanting to smell the blood. "Come on get out of here." Nix said helping Jim out and calling out to Echo, "We need some help here. Make sure to stop the blood. I'll stitch him back up when him done here." Nix looked at Jim as she shut the door and turned back to look at the man.
