{That's a relief. biggrin Fantasy is honestly my preferred genre, but every now and then I'll want to experiment with alien Sci-fi. Unfortunately, everyone either ignores my every post and continues on without me or nobody is active when I actually can get enough people. crying I hate it when that happens!}

((Heh. I'm taking a fantasy/sci-fi literature class right now. Maybe I'll pick up some inspiration along the way. >w> Even if all we're reading is a bunch of depressing dystopian stuff, none of which is actually fantasy. <_<;; ))

{Like what? In my class I think I'm reading "War of the Worlds". It's a surprisingly dissapointing read if you ask me. >.< I also heard that the Scarlet Letter was equally dissapointing, although I haven't read it yet so I can't be too sure.}

((Haven't read either so I wouldn't know. But so far we've read New Atlantis (I mentioned the horrors of that one before. BACON!!  ), Flatland (kinda interesting in that all characters are geometric shapes, mostly of the 2D variety), Herland (didn't actually read, I just went to Sparknotes. >w>;; ), and 1984. The rest of the year is filled with a bunch of books that I know nothing about but will probably suck until we end the semester with graphic novels, those being Y: The Last Man and V for Vendetta. biggrin ))

{The last two sound interesting at least. The rest, to be honest...not so much. = P Ick, I hate how they have to pick the most boring books for what could be a very interesting class! It's one thing to show us the classics, it's another to show us old s**t that was revolutionary for its time but currently of mediocre quality now. >.> Plus, oh GOD why must over half of these dusty piles of pheses be drenched in Purple Prose?! I would probably hate many of these works less if they were worded in a more interesting way, but Purple Prose is almost never the way to go.}

((I was shocked to find that the mandatory reading for my english 1A class (note: this is a college level english course) was actually FUN. It was actually ENTERTAINING. It was actually a book that TEENAGERS AND YOUNG ADULTS WOULD WANT TO READ.))

{LOLWUT. Fun? I seriously hope that'll be the case once I head off to college. XD Especially since I plan on trying to take a writing major.
Btw, on another note, should I pull the "just start the RP early on and let people join as it goes along" approach or should I just wait until there is enough to begin with? >.< I'm mostly only being this impatient because this is one of the few RP's that is active for me right now. D:}
