 The moon shone brightly through your moon light amplifying window directly on to your face. As you stir from your meditation, you immediately notice movement outside of the corner of your eye. "come to awareness my pupil, I need ettercap silk and the night is young, go forth and seek my desire." Its your master, and your used to him being in the room as you come out of your meditation/sleep cycle as he only allows you to do such things at a designated time of the early evening.

Ettercaps are such a bother Leiche thought to herself. Beginning the long trek to the ettercap hole, Leiche keeps a playful eye over the land she walks, looking for signs of the ettercaps, as well as her favorite activity... watching things as they decay and are reborn. Old plants withering away, while new ones replace them just short distances away, even animals in their cycle, though they take longer to watch... all the more joy thought Leiche.

I need a couple general rolls, knowledge Nature (blue Lotus), if you got it and survival (are you looking for silk remains or actual ettercaps?).
your character knows she can gather silk, a long task or go kill a couple and remove their glands, the preferable of the two as your master can temporarily animate them and have them produce as much silk as they can before before the poop out since they don't have the bodies nutrients anylonger.

I'm looking for actual ettercaps.
Knowledge(Religion) = 8 (natural 1, best I have for looking for the lotus (if it has to due with necromantic spells, I might know from religion)
Survival = 23 (natural 20)
My spells prepared for the day are as follows:

Naturally, you fail to find any lotus, but as you travel out, you come across the general signs of ettercaps, and you know your getting closer to the hole. the first signs appear in he form of webbing and some prints and claw marks, but not long after you find the remains of an ocelot wrapped in silk, obviously his juices were consumed. As you continue, you need to be more cautious and aware...Listen and spot.
(nice natural 1 and natural 20, you bipolar dice roller)

Noticing the webbed areas, and especially the ocelot (which brought a giant smile to Leiches lips), its time to continue forward at a more reasonable pace.... slow and steady. Fighting alone is such a bother Leiche recalled to herself, moving along very slowly trying to find the ettercap lair... Leiche keeps in the back of her mind her faithful servants ready to be called (Summon Undead II).
Spot = 19 (16 + 3)
Listen = 8 (5 + 3)

you notice a web quivering unnaturally 40 ft from your current location. Since were online, im gonna keep it straight forward. We'll say your in a hallway type canyon, 15ft wide. How gonna act,, you may need to roll an initiative.

I am going to stop and ready my Summon Undead II if an ettercap pops out of the webbing. Summon Undead will land right infront of me, as a Skeleton Chimera (stats under skeleton in MM).

Dropping my Summon Monster II where I stated and taking a few steps back (10 feet) and having the Skeletal Chimera charge the closest one (I assume theyre close to eachother so they will both attack the chimera, let me know if I am wrong).

2 attacks of opportunity and then their regular attacks against your skeleton, so 4 bites total, we'll just call the first 2 left and the 2nd 2 right. These are in conjunction to you.

3 of those hit at 1d8+2 damage, so 3d8+6. 22 damage total to the skeleton. Damn. Skeleton looses a fair amount of hp. 36 hp left according to the system reference document.
I think your skele gets an attack off w/ his charge, go on and roll that out, etter's have a 14 ac. after that, its the top of the round w/ you and your skele going.
