Lilith skipped into the ring after hearing her name called. Her long blond hair was pulled back into a pony braided pony tail and a pair of pink kitty headphones sat along her shoulders as she slowly lifted them over her ears. The black and white raincoat that sat upon her and reached down to her knee's only to meet a pair of bright yellow rain boots seemed almost ironically appropriate for the ring and yet a danger in itself do to the possibility of the over sized outfit that stretched will beyond both of her hands could easily be seen as getting in the way should she fall into the water and need to swim.
Looking up with a pair of light blue eyes she stared down Ka'rinth, her expression a somewhat disturbing glare of coy innocence with a hint of deadly intent behind it. Her mission had been rather simple... find the biggest fish in the exams... and it just so happened that by greasing the right palms she was the follow up fight to the two biggest fish present. Through these strange formations they have grown capable of switching out Jutsu if one or another is some how dampened by a foes effect, making certain that each retains it's full capability by merely swapping them out for others.
The user has the ability to de-activate any of their abilities in order to allow themselves to re-activate a jutsu of an equal or lower level. They may do this with as many jutsu as they wish per turn, but may only do it with Jutsu that where activate last turn. This "swaps" the two jutsu, and thus does not count as activating them (ie supersedes lock outs and cost requirements).

As Lillith entered Ka'rinth directed his puppet onto one of the poles not worried about it falling while he directly controlled it. He said simply as he rose, Well then? You told me I would see something interesting if I came here instead of quitting, what do you have to show me? If it's boring I'll either try to kill you or more likely just leave. "Something interesting?" she thought confused, she had never spoken to the boy before that she could recall and wondered if he had perhaps gotten her confused with someone else.
The snow was heavy, but that was fine. Lilith knew she needn't move much to get what she wanted done. The tips of long needles slowly slid down from one of her over-sized sleeves, each slick with some sort of purple fluid that dripped into the snow, slick from the holsters that she kept them in. With a flick of her wrist the small needles where sent at their target with nigh break neck speed.

((Hope this is right, haven't really seen puppets used yet and there is an iffy matter about integrated items always being active but here goes.)) Ka'rinth remained calm as the needles were thrown and had the puppet raise its arms to cover the neck and face as a normal person would as the needles slammed into the wood he noted that they created stress fractures suggesting that in fact the girl was relatively strong. With a frown he said softly yet loud enough that she would hear, Tell me, is your Samhamel-kun or whatever the name was stronger than you? The damage was not nearly enough to take out his puppet but he made note of the purple liquid on the needles and did not want to test what it might do on his actual body. Quote: Starting:

The attacker gets to defend against their own reflected attack normally. With a soft sigh Ka'rinth said, I can't say all of this depending solely on gear impresses me. I want to see something interesting, not just what someone else made but techniques and combinations that are truly artistic and sublime. I'll just assume you can dodge this. The last was said as the mouth of the puppet opened and an arrow was fired at Lillith's side just inside of where her needles were kept. If it struck then it would be easy to trigger an explosion on her body later but if it missed it was purposely angled down so that it could strike one of the poles behind her unless deflected. Lilith saw the attacking coming, dodging would be risky, to risky, so instead she began to spin on one foot causing the snow on top of her poll to spray outwards as the wind picked it up and tossed it around violently. The arrow came and snapped flying into pieces off to the side before exploding. The water swished left and right as two poles cracked and toppled into the nearly frozen torrents below. Lilith smiled coming out out of the spin and leapt through the air, throwing another barrage of the small pin point needles at her target. "A ninja's tools are just as important as their abilities. There's no point exhausting ones self with costly assaults or using cheaper inferior attacks and giving your opponent an opportunity to respond" she said all whilst flying through the air in an upside down flip from which the barrage came before finally landing on another pillar behind Ka'rinth. Ka'rinth shook his head inside the puppet as he moved it only slightly before another needle struck it this time with the impact reduced by the ambient chakra from the strings. With a slight flick he also activated the flight unit in response to her acrobatics. Toys are toys, I use mine to minimize risk but truly techniques like the spinning you did earlier are so much more intriguing. Quote: Starting:

With a slight shrug Ka'rinth triggered a release and exited the puppet glancing only slightly at Lillith as he extended one hand towards his right pocket as he decided he had gathered enough information using the puppet. His Dragon tattoo glowed slightly on the back of his hand. With a slight smile he shifted his hand quickly forming a number of seals before bringing forth dozens of clones as he said, Like this, clones are an interesting technique and offer just as much as a few needles to a battle. Even as the puppets came forth he wove elements of acid together slightly as he also invoked his knowledge of his bloodline to protect what he would show going forward. The last set of seals he would create would result in Arachne appearing standing almost delicately on his back as he smiled at Lillith showing no signs of strain from the weight of the bluish spider that seemed to be the same size as him. The two regarded Lillith seemingly as one as something akin to anticipation of the hunt settled onto them. An interesting person was in front of Ka'rinth and he wanted to see if he could kill her, though to Arachne she just assumed it was his offering for her. Quote: Starting:

I may be a kid but don't mock my intelligence by trying to think exhausting myself while you continued to just use your own items would be a good move... that said now that you've brought yourself out to play, I'll humor you" she said, suddenly speaking in a much older tone of voice showing she was far from the small inept and yet somehow overtly powerful young nin she appeared to be.
A single needle appeared in her hand, this time however they where clearly made of something else, what appeared to be simple single wooden one with several cuts upon it, "don't blink" she muttered tossing the one needle directly up into the air, it's form hidden in the glare of the sunlight. A few seconds passed as a disturbing calm crossed the field, only the sound of snow falling to the earth and the slight humm of the crowd filling the arena. The silence was not shattered by sound, but by sight as the twinkling of thousands of shimmering spots in the sky, as if small pieces of tin foil where falling to the earth could be seen high above.
One needle struck down hard, burying itself several feet into one of the wood pillars and splitting it in two, the arena burst in small explosions of wood, snow, and water as thousands more of the shimmering needles fell to the earth intent on turning the entire ring into a pin cushion. Ka'rinth applauded as the needles descended and held up an odd card that had an image of the shell of an insect on it before the card began glowing and his skin seemed to darken slightly. Arachne would find her own way of dealing with it but worst case scenario she would be hurt and have a reason to assist him regardless of a meal being provided. With his skin darkened the needles struck but barely broke his skin though bruises could be seen forming on his body. I always was a bit of a masochist. That is the type of attack I appreciate, that and your defense from earlier were brilliant.Quote: Starting:

((I wasn't sure whether the summon should have a separate turn or not so I'm doing both here. Let me know and if it should be separate I'll post as such going forward.)) With the sting fading from his arms Ka'rinth decided he would return the favor with a serious attack of his own. Taking a quick glance around he noted that aside from him and Arachne three of his clones were struck and destroyed by the attack which gave him a sense of excitement as he in turn let needles slide out of his sleeves and into his hands before saying. This is the main reason you interested me, another person that used needles and seemed to also be a taijutsu user among other things like controlling is a rare treat. So allow me to applaud your needle use with my own. Though it lacks the impressiveness of your technique you might find it to be an interesting trick none the less. As he spoke Ka'rinth hopped lightly to his left while throwing needles towards Lillith aiming for her limbs even as his clones also moved to throw needles at her as well though theres lacking the true strength of his actual needles would be more annoyances and distractions than truly lethal. Meanwhile Arachne plied her own trade drawing on his chakra reserves as she moved on her own. Arachne would simply target Lillith with the vision's of purgatory technique that had been used against Oasis creating a world of flowing water and rice patties and causing the inside of the arena to fade away. It would almost seem as though Ka'rinth and his clones needle attacks had been designed to distract from the summon as she attacked the girl's mind. Quote: Starting:

Once you've established control: On you, the controllers turn, you may take your turn normally as well as issue one command to anyone you've mind controlled. IF the command is against their nature they get an immediate reflexive contested check of Willpower(x2) + Resilience buffs that apply to break mind control. This has to be something they'd not do at the moment, such as attacking an ally, harming themselves, etc. Against a suicidal command they gain Willpower(x4) instead of (x2) against said roll. If they fail this check they carry out the command. The controlled player has all there normal stats, however they may only use Jutsu the controller knows as the controller is pulling the strings and thus they can only do things the controller knows how to do. They can not however use Kekei Genkai that the controller knows if the mind controlled subject does not match the same bloodline. Chakra to perform any of these tasks as well as to sustain powers must be paid by the controller not the subject of mind control making this power very taxing. When this is used the user targets one "buff" on the victim. While this de-buff is on said victim, the targeted buff no becomes a de-buff causing it to reduce, rather than add, whatever bonus it gave before. The user may not stop sustaining the targeted buff that was reversed until this de-buff is removed. This may not target buffs with a level of 20 or more than it. Sustainable. ---Description: User takes control of a person’s senses and creates the illusion that they are in a nearly endless field of rice patties. The water over their feet is warm as is the sun shining down from above. ((It's fine, you can do them either way.
One note I must make though is that you can't auto-activate jutsu/items, as you did when you defended earlier, without rolling (your protection). Essentially you'd roll like you would any other defense (ie in the form of a "counter"), and if successful it activates in time (since passive effects activate even if used in a counter, only offensive ones don't, defensive damage being the exception for offensive effects. We'll let it slide of course, just a note for future reference)).
The world began to melt away around Lilith, she immediately realized that such a change was far to powerful for the likes of Ninjutsu leaving only one more culprit. Lilith began her spin again, she could only resort to focusing her mind entirely on the air around her, devoting every sense into it's very control knowing that the image cast before her would need to take a hold of those lingering thoughts and feelings in order to truly harm her.
The threaded needles on the other hand she could not avoid, they where thrown extremely hard... she was out geared and slightly out classed, that much was clear. Whoever this was he'd make a fine target for Sasumateh to collect in the future, though she doubted with the throw that just struck her she'd be able to collect him herself... not that it mattered here with all the witnesses around.
