Zeeke's facial expressions changed as she fumbled around on his back. "Ow, ow hey watc- ah!" He wined, maybe that would tell her enough and pouted as her hooves dug in to his back. Ok so it turned out not so perfect and graceful than it sounded. He even thought one of her hooves hit him in the face at one point but he shook it off and watched her, her pain easy to read from her movements. Slow and calculating. He winced when her hoof dug in to the base of his wing but he tried to keep composition so she wouldn't fall.

He watched with relief as she climbed out safely and then spun to look back over at him. She could of run, made a get away and fled for her life. He could of been anyone looking for an easy ride but no, she stayed and it put a smile stretching across his lips. All she looked like now was a shadow. Was that all he had been to her? Had she not seen what he even looked like yet? He tilted his head. At her comment he snapped out of his thought and merely laughed a little, grinning once more.

"Don't worry sugar muffin, I can get out of this hole no problem. Just sit tight and watch me work my magic." A glowing white emitted from the holes depths and with the blinding light his form slowly changed in to that of a young man, two-legger with four large wings at his back. He jumped up and let his wings beat against the air lifting him up to the top like a floating feather. He rose above her, then dropped himself to a stand by her side out stretching his hand to gently run it by the side of her cheek. She was ten times more beautiful and stunning in the light of the moon and he couldn't help but have been struck by a look of awe. He loved how she felt under the touch of his palm.

"Told you I would get you out of there."

He smiled warmly, letting his fingers wave in and out of her mane. He had never taken this form in front of another soquili, his mother had helped him achieve it but he was afraid he would be more of a freak than he really already felt. No one knew it but behind the cocky attitude. He did.

Wait! What was he doing!? Why was he being this way? Had she possessed him with special Kirin magic or something? Or was he falling for a stranger? Nope! No he wasn't! He couldn't be. Or had he? His mind was spiraling with so many thoughts that he didn't speak. Out of all the questions that was like a highway in hell, one remained. What did she think of him now?

She raised an eyebrow at him and repeated his latest... compliment? "Sugar muffin?" Surely not, she was anything but a sugar muffin... not that she knew exactly what a muffin was but she figured it wasn't something anyone who knew Sato would use to describe to her. She let out a heavy breath and then gasped in shock a little as a light started to form inside the hole. She took a step back, squeezing an eye closed as she turned her head slightly away. What was he doing? Did he have some power or something? She had heard that certain Angeni had powers over domains but since she had never met one of their breed before -and she still wasn't sure he was one of them- she had no idea what such power even looked like. Then as the light faded she watched as a two-legger started to rise from the hole. She found her heart racing. Was it a two-legger who had helped her? No, she had felt and seen the outline of another hose before his aid. So, was this simply some of the magic he possessed?

Either way she was slightly freaked out by the two-legger, her father had told her to avoid most of them because they would try to capture her and use her to aid them in travelling long distances, or to carry packages and luggage. Sato wanted to be free more than she was curious, and so she had never ventured to the near by tribe camps. Yet here was a two-legger. A very naked two-legger at that. She did her best to keep her eyes on his face. Black alluring eyes, hair of yellow, red and black with beads of blue. Four wings, just like the number the Angeni were said to possess. It was his eyes that comforted her, those strange but familar orbs of black... no onxy. They looked onxy now she was closer to him.

She didn't even know if he would be able to understand her in that form. Would he? She smiled gently and let him pet her and run his fingers through her mane. She was covered in dirt and feeling anything but beautiful yet there was a tenderness in his touch... it was scorching and made her feel as if she had been branded, claimed. Relaxing she decided to try and speak to him, "Well aren't you full of suprises, Zeeke." As soon as his name left her lips she blushed and turned her head slightly away from him, it was the first time she had said it out load. It flowed like water over her tongue and had a sweet aftertaste... just like him.

Just then she heard a noise behind them, her head spun round suddenly and before she could think too much about it she turned to Zeeke pulled her good wing into herself so that it wouldn't get in the way before she grabbed him by the arm with her mouth as gently but firmly as she could manage before lowering her body to the ground and spinning him onto her back. As soon as she was sure he was mostly on she pulled her good wing up and tried to use it as a barrier to stop him from falling before she ran and ran and ran away from the noise. She really didn't want to meet with another disaster tonight. She didn't think she would survive it.

It wasn't until she had got away from the hole and the noise and was starting to enjoy the wind as it blew and swayed her mane around her that she realised what she had done! OMG! What was she thinking? If this two-legger was Zeeke he could have just turned back into a horse!

He realized that they couldn't communicate in different forms and he just snickered as her speech came out in whinnies and fumbling of her lips. That's how they really spoke to each other? How they sounded. Interesting. When he was about to change back in to his Angeni form he felt a tug and he spazzed, the next thing he was on top of the mare and she was running for her life. The wind hit him, his hair flew behind with the wind, her hair was all over, whisking about madly. He clung to the back of her, feeling rather cold as the resistance slipped around his body and the scales scratched at his skin but even so, it was so enjoyable and he was having so much fun! No wonder some two-leggers rode their soquili companions.

Although he could of run with her himself this was much more easier and he couldn't help but chuckle and feel smug upon her back, he braved it enough to let go and raise his hands in to the air, a huge smile across his face. "Yeeehaaaa!" He shouted before almost being knocked off balance, he threw himself forward in to like a cling, hug and looked at her from the side, just laughing.

He was glad he had stayed out. Glad he had come across her but what would happen now? His features fell at that thought taking on a glum expression but it quickly fell when he remembered she probably could tell what he was thinking. He wasn't sad, he never was or glum. GET IT TOGETHER ZEEKE.

When she slowed down now they had covered a great deal of distance from the area, he jumped down from her back and landed with a roll before changing his form back in to a regular angeni. He stood and shook off the grass that had clung to his coat and whipped his mane around to get whatever pieces of dirt had fallen in to it to fall out. He raised his head when he was done and trotted to where Sato was. Now they could see each other clearly. In a better light.

"So, Sato." He tried, her name was soft and easily rolled off his tongue like he had known her years, not hours. He had to let out a nervous laugh before he continued. "Where we going now?" A grin filled the lips of the stallion, a wink to compliment it. He wasn't ready to leave yet and now once again the original Zeeke was back in business.

She ran for what felt like forever, his weight wasn't that much, and she couldn't help but think of the fact they had now been on each others backs. Of course she had been a horse not a two-legger and she was sure that she had hurt him despite the fact he only complained once. She turned her head to smile at him after he released a sound that sounded very much like a cry of enjoyment. For a moment she allowed herself to wonder what it must be like to be able to change forms, which did he prefer? From the way he was acting it seemed like he had never rode a horse before... or maybe he was just never taken by suprise before? She didn't know. Nor was she ever going to ask.

He seemed to be thinking something, for a moment she was sure that there was a sadness in his eyes and that her own mirrored it. What was he thinking? From what she had seen so far he seemed to be a typical 'hot shot' male, believing his attitude and looks would get him everything. Which it probably would if you where only looking for a few one night stands. She was the opposite.... maybe? She didn't know, before now she hadn't even considered the idea of love and romance. Why would she have? It had ripped her fathers heart out, she was not blind to the sadness to seemed to lace his expression everytime he would look at her and Arabella. Did she really want that? What did love even feel like?

Forcing herself not to think about it she focused on the route she had started taking once more before slowing down. They had travelled a fair distance. Her muscels rippled under her flesh, it felt so good to run like that. She was aware of everything, the way he felt on her back, the way the wind caressed her flesh and even the constant throb of her broken wing. She hadn't paid it much attention since her escape but knew she needed to soon.

Then he said her name and she was completely lost. She looked up from the ground to see his alluring eyes of shimmerimg onxy and was struck by how beautiful he was. She had thought he was nice looking as a two-legger, but as a horse he was breathtaking. For a moment she couldn't do anything but watch him, the way his feathers moved, the way his mouth moved, the way his scent carried to her.... she was becoming obsessed. It was getting dangerous.

Yet he wanted to spend more time with her? Why? Mere hours ago they hadn't even known the other exsisted and now... what? Deciding it would be best to play it from here she smiled sweetly at him and then looked around to do a quick sweep of the area. The forest was far behind them but to the left of them she was almost certain she could feel the harsh wind that usually accomanied the shore to a beach or water of some sort. Water. A bath. She would feel so much better after a soak and a swim.

Turning back to Zeeke she replied, "Well I don't know about you, Zeeke," she said his name again, her heart fluttered in her chest; "...but I am thinking I need a bath." She couldn't even look at herself, she knew her hair was a mess, she was covered in mud and dirt, roots and leaves, from being stuck in that hole for so long. Yet he looked at her as if she was the most delicate and beautiful think on the planet. Was he blind? Maybe he was, after all he had no pupils... or was his whole eye a giant pupil? Maybe that was why he was out in the night? Maybe daylight hurt too much?

Shaking her head she forced herself to look away and to the ground. Why was she currently so observant about his looks? What did it matter? Soon he would leave and would be just another memory.... yet part of her was already screaming in protest at the very idea of letting him go.

Zeeke studied her horn, the pale green that sat on her eyelids, the tan coat, her golden scales. She was gorgeous and he could tell that she was studying him just as keenly. As she replied to his question, he gave a quick nod. Even as stunning as she was, the dirt, stray twigs and tattered appearance did have an off edge to it but he didn't mind. He didn't spend his night staring at her clearly, he spent it talking to her and surprisingly it had turned out great. He was sure that a wash would make her look even marvelous, not like it was relevant to him but everyone likes to be clean.

"Lets get you a bath then Cinderella." With his training and travels, he had heard stories from others and learned many thing from his older brother Alex. Everyone looked up to him but, alas Zeeke knew even with his heroic stunt tonight he wouldn't ever compare or be a knight like him. Alex had taught himself mainly on his own too. He walked a long with Sato, keeping close to her in the chilly night air. He could feel her warmth beside him, her breath felt like heaven and sieved out like a floating cloud. He watched the rasp puffs of breath and kept slipping his dark sockets to her wing when she wasn't looking at him. He could have someone look at it, or they could find someone either way, she needed to do something about it quick before the condition furthered and then likely their would be no use for it anymore.

Sounds of water was becoming louder, a melody to the night and a soothing rhythm to their ears. He pinned them back and took a deep breath in. Refreshing, clear air. He loved that feeling. He closed the small distance until he was touching her side careful not to hurt her wing and held a smile looking at her.

"Princess?" Strangely he was retaliating the non-princess calling, she looked like a princess in her fancy get up and elegant exterior and it suited her too well to ignore. Eventually he guessed annoying her enough with it would earn him an explanation for her snapping earlier. He would learn more about her, even if she knew his motive or not.

"Why were you there to begin with anyway? It's not everyday you see a beautiful lady trapped in a hole somewhere on a night. Geez, I think most guys would be jealous you fell straight in to my lap." He tilted his head playfully, bangs falling out of his eyes. They were a short walk away from the water, rocks and sand filling out the scenery ahead. A walk on the beach at night, almost sunrise. Damn that fox, she must of planned it. It was all too perfect but hey- he wasn't complaining. Far from it.

She chuckled softly and then replied just as charmingly, "come on then Prince Charming, take me to the... bath?" She laughed again, she hadn't laughed this much since she was a new born foal. Why had she stopped laughing? It was fun! And she was sure that she would get at least fifty new laughter lines by the end of the night at this rate -not that she minded. A small price to pay for a night of happiness.

It was strange, but Sato actually felt... safe. Like she belonged. As they walked side by side it was like a harmony of movement, their bodies looked like a jigsaw piece, and if they only moved closer together they would fit together perfectly. She kept looking ahead, she needed to focus on something other than the pain that was throbbing over and over again in her wing... and those eyes. Those dark alluring eyes of onxy that he wore so proudly. What would see do if she could never see them again? They where unique, and despite his attitude Sato was starting to feel as if... as if there was more to Zeeke. Behind that 'tough guy' exterior seemed to be a heart of gold. After all he had stayed with her, and even now he seemed worried about her. She didn't let him catch her watching him as he looked at her wing... she knew it needed attention, part of her was hoping a good soak may help it, but she had a feeling it would need strapping or something. Too tricky for a horse to do, she would have to find a tribesman or something who was willing to help and not trap her to keep as a pet.

Then he called her princess again, she stopped in her tracks and just stared at him. There was a saddness in her eyes, once again tears threatened to overflow. She wouldn't cry, she wouldn't let him see her cry.... she was not that weak! She hoped. In no more than a whisper she spoke, "Please.... don't call me Princess." She knew he wanted to know why, but she was reluctant... what if he laughed? She imagined it was a rather pathetic reason, but it was her reason.

Then he asked her a question, one that she knew would come her way eventually. Closing her eyes she pushed back the tears and then started walking again, she tossed her head slightly to get the hair out of her eyes before she spoke. The answer to his unasked question tied in to his spoken one... she may as well get it over with. "I ran away." She laughed, it sounded silly. Why didn't she just tell her father? He wouldn't have stopped her.... it would have... hurt him. But now that she thought about it surely he would be more hurt that she didn't tell him? She sighed again before continuing, "I knew it would hurt my father if he knew I was going to leave.... for a while I-I..." She hesitated. "...felt like I needed to get out, see the world. Do something other than spend time with my father and sister. So I decided to leave at night, using the darkness to cover me as I left. I probably should have told him... I-I...." Once again she hesitated, why was she telling him all this? She could have made up any story and he would never have known the truth. After all... they where likely never going to see each other again. But she couldn't lie to him, didn't want to lie to him. She felt sick just at the thought of lying to him. "I.... didn't want to see him cry, he cries for the loss of my mother all the time. I didn't want to see those tears directed at me." She gulped and then looked Zeeke in the eyes as she answered his unasked question, "My father is the only one who calls me Princess. I guess...." she paused and just watched him for a while, he really was a handsome stallion. Strong jaw yet gentle features. "...when you call me it, it.... it makes me feel even more guilty for what I did." She smiled gentle at him, she was getting tired. Worn down from travelling, her pain and her time in the hole... she doubted that would last more than a few more hours before sleep stole her. Trying to keep herself engaged she decided to explain the hole, "As for the hole... well I just sort of fell in and loss my footing. I have this strange thing..." she blushed without wanting to, "...I don't really like flying at night." It actually scared her a little. The world looked too different at night and she was unable to navigate very well.

After a moment she asked, "What about you? What brought you to my rescue tonight? Not that I'm complaining." Without him she would still have been there, she would never have seen the amazing transformation to human and then back.... she wouldn't have had fun!

He carried on as normal walking with her and awaiting a reply but she didn't continue walking as soon as he called her princess she came to an immediate halt and just stood staring at him as if she had seen a ghost. Like she was horrified that, that word had parted with his lips once more. Why was she so against being called it? He had stopped as she had just a bit further a head of her and was staring back at her statue like posture. There it was, her eyes. He could see the welling up, at the liquid that filled them but she was so stubborn and he knew she was refusing to let him see her tears spill. He didn't say anything but he felt bad. Like someone had hit him with a hammer straight in the chest and had branded him with a huge jerk sign. He sighed, then pulled his gaze away from her at her plea. Ears fell back flat against his skull as if not to hear it.

He thought that would have killed their night but she continued to talk and he was considerably relieved even if it was to bring bad news, old memories back. His eyes raced to hers once more and he spun to face her directly as she walked towards him, her hair slashed the night like a katana in a swift motion. He watched unable to break his acquired gaze away.

As she spoke of her father and the night that she had so far. He felt guilty, that his family had this somehow live happily ever after ring to it and he was out moping whilst she was going through what must of been the worst pain in the world. Leaving your family behind. "I'm sorry." He finally spoke, timidly at that. "I had no idea." He truly was sorry to have her explain it but it made him feel honored that she would trust him with her past, to be able to pour her heart out to him of her troubles. He gathered it was easting away at her. "Sato-" that's when she explained how she got in the hole. The edges of his lips twitched, his eyebrow itched up and down like a mad dog on a leash and as reluctant as he was it couldn't be helped. Zeeke burst in to laughter and lowered his head the loud sounds of enjoyment circling the area.

He would of never guessed someone like her, lady and looking prim and proper could be as clumsy as that but he looked up and the blush across her cheeks startled him. Was she embarrassed? He coughed collecting himself again and shook his head. "Don't worry about it, it is like a maze out here even in the daylight. I'm not particularly fond of it either but I practically have a 'hometime"

Considering his family was over-protective and his dad didn't like him out late in case something happened. He guessed they were just clinging to the babies they had left but he wasn't so much a kid anymore... At least with Sato here, he felt more at home, at ease than he ever had in Eden. It made him almost as sad to think that than what was concealed in the kirin's features but it made something buzz inside him. A warmth he couldn't shake every time he spoke to her, to hear her voice, as her eyes stared in to his not like they were looking through but at you so carefully. How she laughed, how she smiled at his cheesy pick up lines. She was... Perfect.

Breaking out of his thought he answered with a "Huh?" Realizing what she said. "Oh yeah, nah I was just out later than usual on my way home up in the mountains. When I heard the desperate cries of a damsel in distress. Lucky your knight in shining armor heard you huh?" He chuckled as he lowered his muzzle, he didn't think about what he was doing but he naturally leaned in and gently nuzzled the tip of her own. Did he feel sorry for her? No, it was the same feeling he had for a while now since he met her in the hole. As soon as they touched a huge mass of violet spread across his face but he didn't stop, it was addictive and he never wanted it to end. He stared at her. It was all he could bring himself to do. He felt too comfortable for it to be silly. He... Didn't understand.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 28, 2010 11:44 am

She saw the look on his face, the way he seemed to... pity her? She hated it. She didn't want or need his pity... she needed.... something else. Deciding she had brought the conversation down to a topic that was far to serious she was about to say something when he burst into laughter. He was laughing at her!

Ok, so the fact she had fallen into a hole was slightly funny, but in her defence there had been no sign. The ground had simply given way below her as she walked. She huffed at him and stuck her tongue out, "I am glad I amuse you so... Petal!" She smiled with him, and before she knew what was happening she too was laughing. It was contagious, especially when he did it. It was music, soft and playful and it seemed to dance around her in a harmony of notes and tones. If nothing else she had learnt one thing tonight, laughter was good.

Her blush was still evident when he continue to talk, she smiled at him and cocked an eyebrow in response. He was trying to... what? Help her out by giving her an excuse? Why would he do that? Shaking her head she smiled and then picked up one word, 'hometime'? Was he serious? How old was he to still have a hometime? "You have a hometime?" She blurted out with her own amazement. She laughed at him, just as he had laughed at her, trying not to chock on her words she continued, "So... how old are you to still have a curfew? You don't look like a foal..." Nope, he definatly didn't look like a foal to her. His muscels where yummy, his body well toned and she suspected he worked out or trained in something. Maybe his parents where just overprotective or something?

Either way the grin did not leave her face, even when he teased her back. "Well you are a very good Knight. Not so sure about the shining armour though." She chirped, her breath held as she noticed he was moving towards her. Closer and closer until he nuzzling her tenderly. Once again she had a strange feeling of belonging, two pieces of the same puzzle that fitted perfectly. She expected him to withdraw but even when a dark blush covered his white cheeks he continued, she smiled sweetly and nuzzled him back. He was warm, his scent was like apples and honey... sweet and delicious, yet very masculine, very... Zeeke.

She had only been with him for a few hours, yet it felt like an eternity. She wanted to stay there in the warmth of his embrace for longer but she knew is she did she would kiss him... and how would he react to that? How would she react? She was afraid she would like it too much, and then he would leave her.... heartbroken. Sato wasn't sure where that word had come from, but now that it was in her head she was sure it was the truth. She would miss him.

Pulling away softly after what felt like a mini eternity she smiled and then swayed forward before allowing her rump to clash with his for a moment before she called, "Tag!" She ran off, towards the healing water that was ahead of them, away from him so that she could breath for a moment. Just a moment, but before she could stop herself she turned to look at him. Turned to see if he was following.

He never wanted her to pull away, ever but she did and he stood there just staring at her, watching as she walked off with an elegant catwalk style woven in her trot. He was admiring, one way to put it as her rump stared him in the face wagging side to side until she turned around and he noticed how far away she was. He smirked and followed after her retracing their coversation.

Zeeke had pouted, ok so he had a hometime not something a stallion of his age should have but he did it for his family, he doubted they ever noticed but he did mostly what he was told, just for their sake mainly his dads but, Alex was always superior and Neria, they had given her leadership over the herd and they didn't even have to try, they just lived their life as normal. He wasn't sure where his place was or if he was just the cocky guy in the background there for their amusement and entertaining anecdotes.

"Unfortunately, no. I'm not that young anymore but still, a charming young man at that." He grinned with a short lived laughter still making his way after her in his rhythmic pace. One hoof beat after the next and he was closing the distance at a decent rate. "I see you're still full of youth, oh young lady." He chuckled, she had that cute face, her features becoming more defined but not yet completely grown up but she had stunning features which even surpassed that of a full grown woman.

As he approached her, the water was close and the echoes and the splashing of the waves caused his ears to perk up right and towards the natural chimes. He smiled a great deal and closed his eyes, taking in the atmosphere and savoring the breeze as it brushed against his skin like a new blanket. Reopening them, they took to the mare by his side and he lifted up his knee, touching her own knee. "Tag, you're it!" He laughed as he darted off, pelting the sand back with his hooves in a mini sandstorm. "Race ya!" He called, hair lashing at his pelt and tail floating with the air, ribbons a bright cyan almost glowing in the moonlight. His muscles felt relaxed and free, motivated by pure fun and life. When he reached the water he pounced in to the shore with glee, the cold liquid cooled his skin instantly and he reared, threw his hooves flat in to the water and kicked in the air like he was dancing before he stopped and threw his head back casually. Droplets of salt water flung out around him from his hair and at last his eyes maintained Sato's attention.

"Come on in, the waters great!~"

This was the best night of his life. Without a doubt.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 28, 2010 1:03 pm

She loved running, it always made her feel free. And somehow doing it with Zeeke made her feel.... whole. There was no other word for it.

She listened to him as he spoke, his words carried to her on the breeze, he wasn't really telling her anything.... just joked again. Sato wasn't against his joking but she wished he would share more of himself, but maybe he knew that they wouldn't be together much longer? What a shame. "Hey... I am young!" She chirped and smiled at him, he was already catching her up... evidently this whole night hadn't been quite as exhausting to him. Then he tagged her, the contact was brief and soon followed by his smiles and laughter as he pounded forward sending sand flying around her like grains of rain she just watched, he was stunning. She had already seen that he could wield magic... but right now he looked like magic, sparkling like a star in the night as the day started to battle with the sky. She watched him her eyes drifting every now and then to the sky and then back to him, and when he turned to her she felt her heart had stopped.

His eyes really where alluring! She wondered if everyone found them so? Or did they simply hold a special power over her? She started forward, never taking him out of her sight. Never faulting. Steady step after step she entered the water, it splashed around her and made her whole body tingle with delight, but still she didn't stop. Still she didn't pause. Her focus was on him, and she knew.... she wouldn't, nay, she couldn't live without him.

Stopping just before him she simply stood and watched him for a moment before she moved towards him, closer and closer until her lips nearly met with his. She could feel his breath delightfully tickling her, it was warm and gentle. Again she felt flawed by his strength and scent, it radiated off him and acted like a warm caress against her skin. Before she chickened out she spoke softly, no more than a whisper -but she didn't need to speak louder due to being so close- "Stay with me Zeeke." Before she even gave him time to reply she moved in and kissed him.

Likewise, Zeeke couldn't take his eyes from her as she came towards him like a fairytale come true. As soon as she hit the water and glittering droplets whirled around her like floating stars he could see the transformation, the dirt was being slowly washed away and she was becoming as beautiful as a rare gem and even more valuable to him. The thought that she could been some witch of love did cross his mind playfully but it faded as she stopped so close in front of him and it amazed him at how close she came. He wasn't used to it. Her breath mixed with his and his eyes lowered to her petite form, an even countering warmer smile formed his lips. Now she was next to him, with him. It felt so strange but too right. Like it was meant to be.

He tried to fight away those feelings, thinking she would go and he would never see her again. That he would be eating his words and fighting forever more to see even a glimpse of her again. It stung, more deeply than he could of imagined.

A miracle. Her words startled him, sending his eyes exploding in to large sockets. Did she just? She had and as quick as they left her mouth her lips were sealed with his. He could of melted. Was melting. In to her comfort, her warmth, her scent, her aura. It was smothering, her gentle loving lips against his. He loved it and he knew he had fallen for her. That her words were true, he would stay with her, he had to. He never wanted to leave.

He returned the kiss with more than his heart; when the moment felt right he pulled away and he stepped forward, arching his neck over her and pulling her close in to his chest in a meaningful embrace. Keeping her cuddled tightly as if not to let anyone pry her away from him.

"How can I not?"
He whispered softly. "Your all I ever wanted and more."

She could tell he was putting everything into that kiss, she was returning it with as much passion and feeling that she possessed. And then he withdrew, she could have kissed him for longer but she knew he would want to answer her -she only hoped that the fact he had been kissing her back was a good sign. Her heart was hammering so hard and fast in her chest that it felt like it was echoing around again and again in her head, so much so she was sure she nearly missed his words.

She let him pulled her towards him, going easily and fitting nicely under his chin. She tried to look up at him as he spoke, her eyes where sparkling with anticipation. What would he say? It was strange that she had given up so much control, more than once and to this stallion. Now she just had to wait. In this moment she was sure he could either make her the happiest mare in the world or destroy her. Then his gently whispered words floated around her ears. Her heart stopped. Her world had suddenly shifted and she felt that colour was suddenly flooding in and filling her world in light. She smiled at him, once more the tears that had been threatening to spill over where back. But this time, they where tears of joy. She let them flow. Unable to stop the emotions that where rippling through her. So new and fresh that she had nothing to compare them to, nothing else that even came close. It was then she noticed the first of the light from the new day land upon his white pelt causing the droplets to dance and shine making it once again appear as if he was made of magic. She only hoped he wouldn't leave her or disappear.

For a long while she simple snuggled into him, caressing his neck with gentle movements of her head. She felt warm and whole. Maybe this had been what she had been looking for? He was the call from the wild that she had been picking it for a while. She really did believe in the fates, and right now she could forgive them everything for their earlier joke.

Slowly she pulled away from him and then suddenly lowered herself so that her entire body was covered in water. She gave herself a shake to disloade most of the dirt and grime before rising once more and shaking herself dry. She knew what she looked like clean, she only hoped he too would approve. There always a natural blush to her cheeks, a natural colouring of green above her eyes.

"So..." She finally spoke, her eyes smiling brightly and her lips curved upwards gently. "...where are we going?" He already knew she had left home tonight, but she didn't know about his commitments, she was assuming since he had a curfew that he had a family that loved and cared for him. But where did that leave him?

Zeeke was enjoying their time together, their closeness and when she moved away, he didn't do much he just watched as she cleaned herself and the dirt washed off of her coat with ease revealing a crimson coloured doll with an essence of innocent encasing her gaze as it grasped him. As she repeated his earlier words he could only laugh lightly and shake his head.

"Your really something, I'll give you that." He uttered playfully, letting his stare take to the sunrise. Mixed with bright golden and red hues. It made the land glow, become a heaven in the darkness as it ate away at it. He closed his eyes. He knew he would have to tell his family, he could just run off but he didn't want to. Whether he would admit it or not, they had been their for him and the least he could do was leave notice for his absence and that he would be traveling with company.

"On an adventure!"
He smiled enthusiastically and then stuck his tongue out at her. "You know, I'm gonna have to tell my parents some enchantress stole my soul and now I am bound to her, forever tortured." He joked, giving out a chuckle. The ability to playfully tease her and say remotely what he wanted was something he greatly adored about her. Knowing she wasn't going to flip a lid or take things he said too much to heart.

He looked down at the water then back up slowly. "My mother would love you as would my sisters. They would be all over you." He smiled weakly. "So, to Eden. It won't take long and my father and sister can help heal your wounded wing, they both have unicorn blood and both trained in the arts of healing."

That would be the only condition, that she would think about her health and push aside the stubbornness because, he didn't want to see her have to suffer from it.

Sato found herself releaved that he seemed to approve of her all clean, or at least he wasn't saying anything if he didn't. His words caught her a little off guard, she stared at him slightly stunned for a moment before smiling and letting her eyes watch his fluid movements as he took time to look at the land and sky that now looked like it was on fire. Part of Sato thought she was on fire, surely things like this didn't happen every day? Teasing him back he spoke, "Well, what can I say...." She winked at him, "...I am just that great!" Before she even fully thought about it she had moved closer to him and again and nipped at his hair with a gentle tug of affection.

"Adventure...." she mumbled, a wide smile sprawlled across her lips. She had the feeling that he was doing that as much for himself as for her, she liked the idea ALOT. She would get to see the world, but never be alone. Maybe she would learn more about him -get to know the real Zeeke. Yes, she liked this idea a lot. Then he mentioned his parents and she felt a deep pang of guilt. Adjusting herself so she could look in his face she looked for any signs that he was regretting this. After all, before her he had been happy and content to indulge his parents. He even had a hometime.

Yet, she liked to be called an enchantress, and although he teased her about it she knew deep down that it was what he wanted too. Giggling very girly she spoke, "Well.... if thats the case, lets get the torture under way!" She moved to his side and rubbed herself gentle against him, carefully ensuring that her broken wings -and it was definatly broken- was on the opposite side and away from her tender caress. His pelt felt like silk against hers.

She watched his movements... he seemed.... sad? Sato wasn't sure but she had noted his action of looking down and then back up. Usually a sign of discomfort, embarassment or saddness... but which was Zeeke feeling? Granted all thought of such things disappeared as he talked of his family, he had a much bigger one than herself... she was almost... jealous? He had grown up with his mother and father, while Sato would never know her mother. She was still alive... somewhere, but the heartache she had caused her father had made it impossible to ever consider looking for her. She had not been there to help bring her up... she wasn't really her mother.

She watched him cheerfully and then rubbed her nose against his neck for a moment, "Whatever happens please don't let them eat me....!" If they where all as large as Zeeke she would be in trouble, an then there was the problem that he was an Angeni... would they all be such ethereal creatures? This was Zeekes family though, and although part of her was screaming at her to run as fast as she could she knew they meant a lot to him. That was the only thing that kept her grounded.

She looked at her wing as he spoke of healing, it would be to her advantage to get it fixed before it set in the wrong possition and became useless. She would miss flying after all. "Eden..." she said in a whisper and then looked up at Zeeke again, "... more like hell for your potential.... eh...." She was going to say mates but had chickened out at the last moment, trying to think of another word she paniced slightly, partners, friends, guests? Deciding to drop the subject she just let the red blush of her cheeks highlight her strong bone structure. What where they now?

Before she could chicken out and decide to do things on her own as always she started to walk out of the water. The cool breeze drifted over her pelt and carried her hair. It dried her easily and made her feel like a little more presentable, if nothing else at least she could hold her head up high when she met his family. What would they think of her? Would they hate her for their son's sudden interest to travel? She only hoped not.

She turned back to look at him, her heart pounding like thunder in her chest. "Come on then Petal..." she smiled at him for a moment and then spoke again, "...afterall... I stole your soul and bound you to me, right?" She winked playfull at him before continuing forward. She knew he would tell her which way to go.

He looked on as she tugged at his hair and he smiled warmly shaking his head around so the strands lightly tickled at her muzzle whilst raising his eyebrow at her very confident statement. 'You're but... I'm not gonna tell you that.' He smirked inwardly never letting his eyes move from her elegant form. The difference between them now and when they first met was astonishing. How they had just become so attached to each other in such a short amount of time. How affectionate she was. How 'lucky' he was to have come across her. Before now Zeeke would of never considered love. He and his dad had 'conversations' about it but Zeeke had always pushed them aside and now... He knew he was right.

He remained quiet as it sunk in, what he just said the hypocrite that he was. She had run away and he probably just made her feel even worse for leaving her family without notice. He was torn but a part of him wanted his family to miss him, to panic... That's if they would bother to. He could be selfish, it was a fact.

He dismissed the thoughts at how happy an adventure sounded to her and it made his heart burst with a flame he hadn't felt before. In his childhood he had always dreamed of finding someone with such a love and passion for adventures, mystery with an imagination. He laughed, a relief swarming over him and a longing that tangled in his throat. "If only I had met you a long time ago." He grinned and then a blush swarmed his features as she rubbed up against him. A knot in his throat clasped him to a pause, he managed to swallow it down and look to her from the side. His expression felt content. As if this was a dream that he never wanted to wake up from.

As she rubbed against his neck, a hum left his throat and he lowered his head to nuzzle in to her hair carefully, gently nibbling on the ear closest to him. He could see that she really did care about him that she had values and morals, that she wasn't someone who was gonna ditch him. She wanted him to stay with her and all he wanted to know was why? Why would someone as perfect and amazing want... Him? He had saved her, sure but he was no hero. Why was he becoming some kind of soft hearted git now? Arggg. He gave up, the thoughts were getting to him. He sighed as if to knock it all out of him. though it didnt need to last long as she asked him to protect her from the fangs of his family he just laughed like a mad man, having to bend his knees it hurt his ribs so much. He was almost rolling in the water from stitches.

"You crack me up. Pff my family? Eat someone? If they were ever capable of that. They're as casual as me a bit more, I dunno, wiser but they're kind and easy to get along with. My sisters son is a bit ugh, quiet and an anti social bum but don't bother about him. If you ever meet them." He paused. "That doesn't mean you can run off with him!-" He chuckled however then stopped himself, pretty shocked. He knew Evan was handsome, strong and intelligent but to kind of admit he was better than him like that made him chuckle nervously and stare at her.

"Er, potential what?" Now Zeeke was a bit slow sometimes but when it did click he had the cheesiest smile on his face seeing how her blush flared in to a tomato red and her eyes filled with panic. She was embarrassed and she was trying to run away from it. He trotted after her all smug, head bobbing side to side.

"Yup, I'm bound to you. What a witch, how will I ever survive?" He joked, with a sing song ring to it. As he caught up to her, he stopped at her side and bowed his lips to her ear. "Between you and me. I'd say we were an item now but you didn't hear it from me." He trotted off past her and towards the other side of the beach, looking back over his shoulder at the figure, coated in the sunrise. The beautiful princess.
