Rouge Fallyn

She swore under her breath as he folded his wings and began to descend. She had been planning on reaching him the next second. Then again he had more experience in battle than she did.. but she learned from her mistakes and that's what would hopefully make her better next time, if there was a next time. She followed after him though, diving head down before she spread her wings right when she lost sight of him for a moment.

The next thing she knew he was circling her. Growling a bit, she showed all of her razor sharp teeth, smoking coming out of her nostrils as well. She didn't want to be treated like food! She tired breaking out of the circle but it was rather hard when he was five times larger than her. Seeing the flame coming from his mouth, she knew she shouldn't dive down but that was her only choice. Folding her wings, she started to drop like a stone. Her best bet was to turn into her human form and run under the trees where he wouldn't be able to get her.

Sigismund Dorn

Dorn was treating her like prey. His eyes widened slightly as he watched her drop to the ground like a stone and he followed right behind her in a steep dive. Now this left him rather open to her but he was gaining speed rather quickly but he might have some trouble catching up to the younger dragon. As they approached the ground he reached out and attempted to grab a hold for a grapple which would give him the home field advantage. Although it might not seem like it but he was training the younger dragon at this very moment.

His talons reached around her body but he had to pull up before he secured his grasp on her. Due to his massive weight and size he required more room to maneuver and come to a stop among other things. He fly just over the tops of the tree and decided to gain some height to scan the area over. Dorn had lost sight of the young one but knew he would find her soon enough. If not he would encounter her in the village and so far he was impressed with her preform but somethings did need work.

Rouge Fallyn

Rouge sighed with relief as she barely escaped his grasp. That was a bit too close for her likely. Taking on her human form, she was glad she didn't have to worry about running around without anything on. She had left her dress under the tree when she had changed into her dragon form to eat. Slipping it on after a moment, she put her bow and arrows over her shoulder.

Slipping through the shadows, she stayed out of sight. Hiding was something she had always been good at. Smirking a bit, she looked up at the skies, knowing that it would be rather difficult to find her. Rouge headed back towards the village but took a different route this time. She didn't know if he would be able to follow her scent like some could, but he was too high up to catch it anyway. It wasn't long before she saw the small village up ahead.

Entering it, she decided to stay low for now though she was suddenly pulled into an ally. Pulling out her dagger she was about to stab whoever it was but he stopped her, pinning her against the wall and his hand grabbing hold of her forearm. "You've been avoiding me." he growled at her and Rouge merely narrowed her eyes, not saying anything to him for the moment, just looking for an escape. "Why? You know perfectly well that I wouldn't harm you. No one else even bothers to deal with your attitude, Rouge." it was one of the younger dragons, around her age. He wanted her for a soul mate but Rouge refused him each time. She wanted her freedom while it lasted and he didn't seem to understand that.

"Let go of me." she hissed before shoving him back with her free hand but he merely chuckled as he was pushed back a few steps. Putting her dagger away, she shook his head at him. "I've told you my reasons before. Find yourself some other girl." she told him before she made her way out of the ally only to be pulled back again by him. It was getting rather annoying to be honest.

Sigismund Dorn

Dorn flew low to the ground scanning the area for any signs of Rouge but she was a hard person to find within this forest. He could not track others by sent but could sense heat quiet easily, however that was proving difficult here. The tops of the trees where warm due to sunlight and there more then a few figures moving through the area. However on his final pass he caught sight of what he thought to be the young one he was looking for but that was a waste of time. He had been lead a stray and headed for the village soon enough.

Slowing his pace he glided back to the location of the village and kept him self at a high altitude as he scanned the surrounding area. Dorn was not an easy man to get rid of and he would get through to this young dragon sooner or later or so he hoped. Something caught his attention and there where two figures in an alley way however he could not a clear view of just who they where. Pondering over a few thoughts he flew a little lower and grinned every so slightly. It was the person he had been searching for but she seemed to be in a little bit of trouble.

Dorn circled the area and when he was low enough changed back into his human form. The large blade still by his side and it was very much a part of him. Moving quickly his eyes wandered about the area searching for anything that might give him an idea of his position. A small land mark caught his attention and he turned right shifting to a walking pace. If he was right the alley way should be to his left and he looked in that direction to see his target. "I would suggest you let go of the young lady" he said in a calm down. Most if not all of the village knew who the elders were but this young man seemed distracted.

A cough came from him and he took a step towards the too. "Do you really wish to be sent to the council young one" Dorn asked in a curious tone. "And are you alright" he said turning his attention towards Rouge. She was his only reason for being here but the actions of the younger male where troublesome to say the least. This matter would have to be resolved quickly and by no means was he going to let her get away from him again.

She hissed under her breath as he started to speak again. "I don't want some other girl." he told her, putting his hand against the wall to block out her escape. Yeah, yeah, to be honest, she didn't care. He was like a love sick puppy that just wouldn't leave her alone! Rouge didn't like her buttons to be pushed and most of the people in the village knew that very well. "They're not you." she began laughing after that.

"Really? Do I have to explain this one more time?" she asked before she saw a dark glint in his eyes. She couldn't understand why he wanted her out of all the others. Sure, they didn't have a lot of women in their village but he definitely could have chosen the raven haired girl whose name escaped her at the moment. She was even tempered and they would make the perfect pair. Shaking her head at him, she took a step to the side but he blocked her way out once more. If she had to, Rouge would jump onto the roof and go from there.

"Just give me a chance.." he told her, his eyes softened once more. Rouge was about to say something back but she heard the Elder. Giving out a small groan of annoyance, she looked over at him but Lance didn't seem to realize that he was there. "What are you-" he looked up to see who it was, making him shut his mouth for a moment. His arm fell as he shook his head in response to the Elder, giving Rouge the chance to leave if she wanted.

"I'm fine." she answered, wishing that the Elder could just stay out of her problems since she could handle them herself. Why did he even care if she was alright? She glanced over at Lance who had now leaned against a wall before she walked past Dorn to get back into the village. Rouge didn't desire his help or his presence and she didn't think she would anytime soon.

Dorn knew form her expression that she was annoyed with him but he felt the same way about her. She was slowly becoming a torn in his side but none the less he had to deal with this teen. The young male that was there finally shut up after he realized who had spoken to him. "Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and do not harass her again" he said in a calm voice. He heard her answer to his question and nodded slightly as she walked right past him. It might seem like he was interfering with her personal life but right now he was sent to watch over her like the previous elder.

He turned quickly and followed right after Rouge. "And where do you think your going. We still have some matter to discuss" he said. Dorn knew that he was treading on icy ground and he wanted to prove that he could be just as annoying and troublesome as he if he wished too. But on the other hand he really did have a need to speak with her. Quickening his pace he moved to her side and would stay by it as long as he was able.

He was still there? Frowning a bit, she picked up her pace but he did the same thing. It seemed like she wouldn't be able to get rid of him at the moment, so she decided to let him speak his mind. "Spit it out then." she told him as she opened the door to her cabin which had been her family's cabin at one point. Leaving the door open for him, she walked around the dining area which only had a table and four chairs.

Grabbing a wooden cup that had water in it, she set it down on the table before sitting down in one of the chairs. Placing her elbow on the surface of the light colored wood, she put her head into her hand as she stared down at the cup for a moment. Her fingers gingerly wrapped around it before she took a drink of it. He could speak, she would listen even thought it didn't seem like it.

Dorn followed her to a cabin. He assumed it to be her home and he listened to her comment. It seemed he had one this battle at least for the time being and he walked through the entrance. His eyes scanned the surrounding area and there where various items scattered around. He moved into the dinning room and watched as she took a seat and he did the same. He sat across from her and his blade blade was leaning up against on the near by wall.

"Your ability when it comes to hunting is impressive but I feel the need to teach you more about flight. There is another matter as well I feel needs work" he said before leaning forwards and taking a good look at her. "You must learn to follow orders" he said sternly. That was something she had to get through her thick skull. "If not all of them but at least do what you are required or you might just lead one of us to death" he said comparing her to another. He was well aware how her father died and it was because some rebellious little punk bite off more then he could chew.

Dorn pondered over a few thoughts and lifted him self from his seat and stood there for a moment. "Be here when the night sets we will be doing some night flying. Until then feel free to do as you wish" he said before he walked towards the exit. Although he left out the fact he would be keeping a close eye on her and more or less stalking the younger dragon but she did not need to know such things. He was near the exit and opened the door before walking out and closing it behind him. He did linger there for a moment or two before moving away from the building.

She listened to his heavy footsteps against he hardwood floor. Most of the things made in her home were either stone or wood. All of the steel they used was for weapons and armor. Glancing over at his rather long blade, she wondered how he could stand carrying something that heavy around all the time. Sure, he had muscle but she doubted that it was a light weapons even then.

Hunting, well she had to learn that from a young age due to the fact that her father and died, sent to the grave. Her father barely ever talked about her mother so she didn't know what had happened to her. Hearing his remark about orders and death, her eyes flashed angrily over to him. She would not compromise a situation like that. Rouge preferred to be on her own so she doubted there would be a time when she was forced to be with everyone else at war. Narrowing her eyes a bit, she then lowered her gaze as she took a long drink from her cup.

Flying had caught her interest though. She only knew what she had taught herself and whatever she had managed to pick up from the previous Elder. He hadn't taught her much about it seeing as she enjoyed it, so he had taken flying out of the lessons as punishment and then she had gotten rid of him completely. Rouge didn't bother to say anything to him though as he left. Setting her bow down on the table as well as her arrows, she only kept the sword that went along her spine, the hilt being at the back of her neck. Knives were something she constantly had with her as well since you never knew when you would need one.

Glancing at the closed door, her eyes then went to the window. It seemed like the Elder had hesitated before leaving. Why? Her eyes narrowed with suspicion once again. Shaking her head, she decided to figure that mystery out later. Her thoughts wandered for a moment before she got up and headed out the door, closing it behind her, she then went back out into the forest. Exploring was something she loved to do as a child and it had stuck with her... besides.. it took up her time so she wouldn't have to think about certain things. Going down a familiar route, she grabbed a few berries from a bush that she passed before wiping the dust off of them and eating them. Rouge was headed in the direction of a waterfall, she wanted to see what she could find there... it was also one of her favorite spots.

Dorn had followed the youngster where ever she went. This let him understand the girl and he hide him self rather well. He had no reason to believe that she knew about him stalker her since she left the cabin. However as the day grew shortly her left her to have some time to her self without him being around. Soon enough the sun disappeared under the horizon and the sky slowly filled with stars surrounded by a blanket of darkness. He had done some flying prior to his arrival at her cabin.

He had not seen her for a good hour and walked to the entrance. The blade and armor he normally wore was no longer with him and he had left such things back at his home. Dorn extended his hand and knocked on the wood door of the cabin waiting for her response. He began to wonder if Rouge would eve show up for this flying lesson but he had a feeling she was near by. There was plenty he could teach but they also had to have some fun while they practiced or there would be no point to him doing this.

Dorn back away from the door and just waited there to get a response from her. The clothing he wore was rather light and simple in design. It consisted of a pair of boots, some paints and a loose fitting shirt but his figure was still large despite the added bulk of the armor.

Rouge had gone to the top of the waterfall. It was rather beautiful. Smiling a bit, she sat down on one of the rocks. Drawing was something that she did to take up her type and considering that his was a rather wonderful view, she slowly began to sketch it out in the dirt with a stick that she had picked up on her way there. Her skills weren't as good as some, but she did practice. Frowning at her drawing in the dirt, she ran her foot over it to make it disappear.

Through out the day she had gone swimming, rock climbing, and anything else that she could do to occupy her time. She had hunted twice afterward as well for lunch and supper. To be honest, she was looking forward to the flying lessons, which is why she constantly looked up at the sky to check the time. After a bit she went hope and fixed some of her cloths with a needle and thread, she even cleaned up her cabin a bit.

Once the time came, she was already outside waiting across the street from her cabin but he didn't noticed her. Smirking a bit, she was dressed in a loose dress with short sleeves, she came up behind him and tapped his shoulder with a grin. "Hello." she was in a rather good mood. He had let her have the freedom she had wanted and now she was fully prepared for whatever flying lessons he would throw at her. An amused smile stayed on her face as she waited for his reaction.

Dorn felt a tap on his shoulder and looked to see who it was. He was surprised to see that Rouge had decided to show up for the lesson. "Its good to see you again" he said before turning his large body around so that he was facing the younger dragon. Planning was not something that he was known for, so this lesson was going to happen on the fly. "Glad to see you showed up" he said before giving it a few more moments thought. For now he would see if she would be able to keep up with him and then give pointers form there on. The night sky was clear and the air cool. It was a good night in his opinion.

"To start we will play a game of tag" he said before smiling slightly. You might wonder what he was thinking but there was a method to everything he did. Dorn reached around for a coin and found one in his pocket. Both sides had different markings on them and he looked over at her. "Call a side and we will see who is it first" he said as he placed a coin on his thumb. He waited for a moment before flinging it into the air and catching it in his hand. Placing it on his forearm he looked over at her. As well he though it would be obvious enough that they would be flying seeing as it was the point of this lesson.

((Might be short and I leaving it up to you to determine who is it first.))

She looked at him curiously as she waited for him to giver her a set of instructions since that was how the other Elder had taught her things. Everything was planned out to the smallest detail. It was rather annoying but since she was going to be flying, she was looking forward to it. "I wasn't planning on missing this." she answered. Would he have found her if she decided to skip out on this? Maybe.. or he could have just talked with the other Elders to let him leave her. Rouge didn't know and it didn't matter at the moment. "Tag?" she looked at him, wondering if he was joking or not, but he seemed to be serious.

He could just be pulling her leg after all. "Kings." she answered. Most of the coins that they had from the humans had kings on them, royalty and then a dragon or dragons that they had slain on the other side. She didn't like it but nothing could be done about it unless she decided to become royalty. Once he had flipped the coin, she looked down at it to see what it was. Dragons. That figured. "So what now?" she asked him as she crossed her arms and kept them that way. Rouge knew that they would be doing something along the lines of playing tag in the air, but who was it then?

((It's alright, mine isn't that long either.))

Dorn would make a note of this and he might as well use that to his advantage if she was willing to show to each flying lesson they would make some progress. If nothing it also meant that she might become more willing to follow orders but that might be a little to much to ask of her at this stage. "Yes tag and you will see once we get flying" he said before grinning slightly. It might have been a child's game but if they continuously tried to avoid coming into contact with one another and maneuvering around it would serve its purpose.

Raveling the coin on his arm it was that of a dragon meaning it was his pick in the matter. She then asked a question and he looked over at her. "To start you will be trying to catch me and make sure you can keep up. We will start once we are both in the air and we will move from there" Dorn said. He moved off to where there was some space and changed into his true form. A moment later he was climbing through the air and he looked back at her to see if she was coming. There was not doubt in his mind that she was questioning his methods at this time but he had his reasons.

Dorn began to move in a circle as he waited for her to join him. Although this gave him some time to think about how he could make this more challenging and possibly train her for combat and something came to him soon enough. "You ready Rouge" he asked as he eyes wandered to her and once he received the answer he went straight for a dive and was gaining speed quickly. He came to a level plane and his belly moved across the top of the trees and he was just seeing if she would be able to keep up with him.

Rouge kept her arms crossed before he started to explain things ot her. Great, a game of chase. She almost rolled her eyes but then again it could prove to be fun. He was five times bigger to her, which meant bigger wings. He could easily fly fast but then again he had a lot of weight pulling him down due to his size. Shaking her head, she then took a few steps back before changing into her own dragon form right after he did.

She had to admit that his wings were different from what she was used to, but they were rather pretty. She would never tell him that, after all, Rouge never gave out compliments unless it had something to do with someone's ability to fight which happened rarely. Looking up at him as he flew around her in circles, she soon took off without giving him a clear answer, just a small nod of her head.

Rouge didn't take too long to get to his level in the air but since he had a head start, she had to beat her wings a few times before she was even close to him, after that though, she got the hang of it as she stayed a good fifty feet above him before diving down in a diagonal line towards him. He couldn't really go any lower so he was stuck between her and the trees at the moment.
