Not that Amelia said it out loud but she thought about how much of an insult it would be to her if someone rode on her... not to mention kinda silly. "Nope, no riding me." She let out a giggle whicker as she pawed the ground.
She turned towards the direction of the bush in which this had all started. "Come on," she said as she used her head to motion towards the bush.

Tarot followed alongside Amelia, though she took her sweet time since she would, without warning, drop down to the ground to poke at any plants that caught her eye.
On the fourth such occasion Tarot remembered that it was considered polite to talk with the person you were with. Hmmm, what to ask? "W'a's your favorite flow'r?" Yea, that would do nicely.

"Pansies," Amelia said after a moment of thought. "Yours?" She said as she glanced down at the flower Tarot had stopped to look at. "Flowers attract butterflies."

"I like lavend'r," Tarot said. She looked up from the flower she had been examining. "You like butt'rflies more than flow'rs," she asked. Tarot thought butterflies were alright, but flowers were her favorite of the two. Butterflies were just something pretty you could put on a flower, and Tyyne had explained that they helped the flowers make more flowers. It hadn't made too much sense, but the gist was the some bugs were good for plants.

"Lavender sounds like a pretty flower... Just for the name of the color," she tossed her head up and down in agreement with what she'd just said.
"If I had to choose I'd choose the butterfly," Amelia said softly. "The flowers are pretty but they don't keep me company."

Tarot looked bemused at the thought of butterflies keeping someone company. "How they do that, butt'rflies always fly 'way when'ver people come near 'em." Faiya was an expection, but that was because butterflies thought Faiya was some kind of delicious flower due to her smell.

"Butterflies just like me." Amelia herself wasn't exactly sure why... other than maybe it was because she was naturally quiet and remained still easily, there really wasn't anything jerky about how she moved.
"There's a butterfly," she said as she used her muzzle to point over to the bush that held the orange butterfly.

Tarot shrugged her tiny shoulders. "Pretty, bu' I like flow'rs more. Sev says I'm a lot like a butt'rfly m'self." Since both of them liked flowers Tarot could see how that might be true. She didn't think she'd ever want to fly though, and butterflies did a lot of that. Sev had shown her some butterfly pictures and they found out that there were a couple black ones. So yea, maybe she could be a butterfly sometimes.

Amelia slowly lowered her head towards the bush. Her horn the first thing to touch the green leaves. She waited for a few moments. And, surely enough her patience was well rewarded. The butterfly did a little 'hop' motion and was soon on her horn. "See." She turned back around and looked at Tarot and whinnied.
"A lot like a butterfly," she mused aloud. "I suppose that could be true... you are pretty enough."

Tarot nodded to show acknowledgment for the compliment, but otherwise didn't comment on it. Being pretty didn't really matter to her, though she knew enough from the way Sev fussed that it was something others seemed to deem important.
She was much more interested in the conversation at this point. "Sev says I look like a....a-" Tarot halted, frowing and trying to remember. The name finally came forth from her brain. "Like a swallowtail. They're all black wi' some blue."

"Swallowtails are very pretty and also a favorite of mine," Amelia said with a nod of her head. The butterfly only fluttering for a second before settling on her horn.
"Blue Morpho Butterflies are also very pretty. I like how they are shiny." She had learned the name of the butterfly at the butterfly place Tori took her to.
"My sister, Lucifel, is too hyper to go... But Tori took me to a butterfly place. They spray you down with this stuff that attracts them. Would you like to go sometime?"

Tarot looked curious. "I' been to a butt'rfly place b'fore, but they di'n't spray us wi' anythin'. Just let us walk around. Faiya was there though, an' she smells so good that lots and lots of butt'rflies came to us."
Tarot had liked the butterfly place. There were plants, it was quite and peaceful, and it was a comfortable temperature. "If Sev says I c'n go I'd like to." She knew he would. Sev would be beyond delighted that Tarot had made a new friend.

"Butterflies just like me," Amelia said with a smile. "Perhaps they didn't spritz you because Faiya already smelled good... I've meet Faiya before." She tossed her head up and down in a confirming nod.
"I'd say we could go today... But Lucifel is to hyper and would crush them..." her ears laid back. It was obvious she was disappointed.

Tarot shook her head. She didn't understand hyper people. Really, what was the point of wasting all that energy bouncing around.
In the back of her mind she was wondering if she could plant anything in her garden that would attact butterflies. She bet Tyyne and Faiya and Amelia would like it.
"I c'n ask Sev. M'be we can go tomorrow or somethin'." She cupped her hands around the flower briefly, then released it and stood to look for more pretty flowers.

"I'd like that," Amelia said with a toss of her head.
She looked down at Tarot's cupped hands. "The flowers pretty," she said before her friend released it. "Since you like flowers so much... do you garden?"
