Tarot was nervous seeing the girl around her lavender plant. It wasn't anything Bug herself did, Tarot just didn't like anyone other than Tyyne around her garden.
She crouched down by her muddy little plot of dirt, now much softer, and pulled up the bits of grass still left. She held a grubby hand out to Bug. "Give, I'll star' th' magic."

Bug sat and watched to see how it was all done. Honestly she was quite impressed that that someone so little was able to do magic. She was even a bit jealous. "What do you have to do after they're in the ground?" Bug hoped the girl would explain everything as she did it. Some how she had little confidence in that thought though.

"Ya wait," Tarot said firmly, poking all the little seeds into the earth. Some part of her mind told her this girl didn't have the skills required to work this particular brand of "magic". Earliest they'd know if they got something would be in two days, which Tarot could manage. Bug though...

"Oh okay." that seemed really easy. Bug, sitting cross legged, brought her elbow up to rest on her leg and leaned her head onto her hand. Bug stared with intensity at the ground before her. How long was this exactly going to take.
The blond girl let out a sigh and waited. Did Tarot forget a step?This was taking forever!

Tarot actually cracked a smile. A smile one, but still a smile. "I's not ins'ant magic! Ya gotta wait a couple days afore anythin' happens!"[/b] She was pretty sure the girl had never done gardening before, or given much thought as to where plants came from. Still, it was kinda of pleasing in a sense that she, a toddler, knew more about something than a bigger kid.

Bug was a bit stunned she never came across any magic that took days!
"Seriously?!" she asked with a bit of disbelief and hoped she was pulling her leg.
Bug looked at the ground, what a waste of food, but at least the girl smiled a bit. "hmmm, who taught you how to do this weird magic, I've never heard of anything like this before." whoever the person is has to be strange to come up with magic that takes days to do, she thought.

"Tyyne showed me," Tarot replied. It wasn't magic magic like what Tyyne could do. Tarot couldn't make a seed sprout in with just a touch. Still, this making beautiful plants from tiny, ugly little seeds seemed like magic to Tarot.

Bug's expression fell, Of course. before being completely sure of herself she had to ask. "This Tyyne wouldn't happen to be a blond girl with antlers and is part deer would she?" Tyyne already has weird enough ways don't tell me she does strange magic like this too. She thought. It wasn't that Bug was uncomfortable with Tyyne, in fact she liked time, they just seemed to have different opinions on things... often.

Tarot nodded in confirmation to Bug's description. "She jus' has ta touch th' ground, an' plants go up like fwoom." She placed her hands on the ground and threw them up in the air to demonstrate what she meant.
"I can' do it like that," she said, frowning. "Gotta wait longer 'fore they're even babies."

"Huh." Her response had a hint of disbelief, but not enough for someone who didn't know her long enough to catch. Tyyne probably just told it was magic and really just had a trick.
Bug tilted her to get a good look at Tarot's face.
"I'm sure they'll be sprouting before you know it." Bug smiled a bit of confidence at the girl in hopes to turn that frown up side down.
Putting her hands on her knees Bug stared back at the soil. "Since we have to wait, what should we do now?"

Tarot shrugged her tiny shoulders. "I's gonna try ta make the garden look pretty. Don' know what yer gonna do." She tilted her head, fixing Bug with her giant, blue-eyed stare. What could the winged girl do that would be useful?

She huffed out a sigh.
Well this was boring. Bug thought while flopping backwards onto the ground. Bug stretched out her wings and watched all the bugs jump about in the grass trying to get away. When a grasshopper tried to leap over her she snapped out her hand and popped the living creature into her mouth. He was fat and made a nice juice crunch sound when she bit down. After swallowing Bug stared blankly at the sky. She decided she'd simply wait out Tarot's prettying.

Tarot's face was, for the most part, without expression when she watched Bug eat the grasshopper. Bugs were icky to her, and you definetly wouldn't catch her eating them. But birds did it, and Bug looked a lot like a bird. Maybe bugs tasted different to her or something.
She shrugged mentally and pushed the topic out of her mind so she could focus on her mini garden. Time ticked by as she tended to the flower spouts she and Tyyne had first planted, pulled weeds and grass away from the lavender, and set about clearing new mini-plots of land. Anytime she found a rock in the soil the toddler would add it to the rocks that paved the ground halfway around her lavender bush. Tyyne had explained it helped to keep the grass from growing too thick around plants, and so far it seemed to help.

Bug fluffed her wings a bit before getting up time seemed to have passed and the little plot of land did seem to look better.
"Hey, that's looking good!" Bug was impressed. A worm wriggled it's way out onto the surface, Bug picked it up and looked at it a bit then handed it to Tarot, she could use some meat on her bones.
"I think you can use that more than me." and sat there hoping they'd be doing something else now.

Tarot shook her head and gently covered the worm in some earth. "Worms is good for the dirt," she explained to Bug. Heck if she really knew why, but that's what everyone said so it had to have some truth behind it.
"Sev don' like me eatin' things off the ground neither. He star's makin' noises like an angry bird when I do." Tarot gave the dirt a gentle pat and looked around. All the seeds had been planted and she'd pulled up enough grass for the day. There was something else she needed though, something she could get...
"I need rocks," she annouced, looking over the ground to see if she'd missed any. She'd have to wander around to look for some, which Sev objected to if she was by herself.
