Im sick and medicated so forgive the entry..
Hulk Smash!
Name:: Majuto
Meaning:: "Regret" He took this name when he left what remained of his pack and struck out on his own as a rogue. In order that he never forget what happened or those that lost their lives.
Owner:: Kaisanti
Personality:: An older male, Majuto was once Alpha of a pack. The pack no longer exists, slaughtered by a rival pack who wanted to expand their territory and had no care for the lives of others. Majuto led a group of survivors out of the trap, barely escaping with his life and soon after, disbanding the last remaining members when they reached a safe place. Majuto himself disappeared, taking the life of a rogue, unable to face what he had done, his failure in protecting his family. He had been young then, but has grown old before his time in his new life. Ravaged by memories of a past he'd rather forget, its a rare thing when he seeks the company of others.
However, under the gruff and rather distant exterior, is a male who had once been utterly devoted to his family and pack. He loved playing with the pups, teaching them to hunt and track. He had a mate, a beautiful young thing who he was head over heals for. Honourable and kind he had been a reliable and honest Alpha. And maybe... just maybe... some of that old personality can be brought back, in time.
Answers::
1. He was around enough pregnant females in his pack to know how their scent changes.
2. He may be bitter and wounded, but he is still the alpha inside. Responsibility for his own would keep him as close as she and her lioness would allow.
3. It certainly wouldn't be planned, hes not the kind to scheme. But if they met, he would simply be his honest self.
4. It probably isn't the best timing in the world, and he certainly didn't plan on it. At first he would stay close out of duty, but with the birth, some of his old self would return. Pups are innocent and he would not be able to help but fall in love with them.
5. So long as they don't bother him, and treats Nayeli with the respect and kindness se deserves, then he will deal with them.
6. Only the ones that seek to hurt those that are his. ie, Nayeli and the pups.
7. Wholly by accident, if possible, he saved her from some kind of trouble... its the only thing that pulls him out from behind his walls.
8. A pack far to the north. he never speaks of his homeland and will never return.
9. Vastly different. He lived in the deep forest cradled within the very depths of the mountains in a huge valley. A vastly remote, harsh and yet beautiful place.
10. He will for the duration of the pregnancy and until the pups grow and leave home. If a spark lights between them during that time, he will become a dedicated and protective mate. However, if it doesn't, then once he is sure she will be ok and that she doesn't need him, he will leave.

Shifting slightly on the spot, paws scuffing at the ground, he watched her approach with one deep wine-coloured eye. The other a milky grey, blinded from a savage fight years ago. She was radiant in her condition. That glow that all mothers gained and that had always baffled him, shone from her despite her distrustful expression. He didn't blame her... this was his fault, his irresponsibility that had brought them to this place. He had forgotten himself in a moment of crushing loneliness.. in the need to forget, if for only a moment, of his grief and long-born sorrow. He had turned his burden to her shoulders and for that, he could never apologize deeply enough.
Taking a deep breath, he finally left the shadow of the trees and padded into the open ground where she waited. Turning his head slightly to regard her form his one good eye he finally spoke, voice thick with wear and responsibility and also, honesty.
"I am sorry."
Extra Notes:: Sorry its short.. I'm feeling pretty bad as it gets later and need to go rest. Im more than willing to adjust him to fit with pre-established plots/personalities.

Name:: Ari
Meaning:: Dedicated in Swahili
Owner:: Redbud-Tree
Personality:: Ari, a not-quite middle-aged maned wolf, is nothing if not loyal to those he cares about. However, because of some incidents in his past where his loyalty was abused, he is very careful about who he gives this loyalty to. He's a quiet male who doesn't talk much about his past and is prone to moments of melancholy. However he's very loving and sweet when he is able to think in the present rather than ook back to the past. What actually lies in his past is hard to tell, because of his insistence not to bring it up, and because it's "not meant for anyone's ears". He does, however, admit that felines had something do do with his melancholy, and it's quite possible that he lost someone dear to him because of them.
Answers::
1. He isn't, at first. Only when he realizes that the roundness of her belly isn't from eating a lot and starts seeing the motion of the pups as they kick will he finally get a clue.
2. Terrified, at least at first. He wants to talk to her, but getting anywhere near the lioness is difficult for him. However, once he realizes that she's pregnant and needs him, he'll summon up all of his courage and try to convince both females that he should be around.
3. With difficulty. Considering that he had a strong fear of felines, it would take utter desperation on his part for him to get her help - but deep down, he knows that the pups are his responsibility, and he'll try and stress this point and the fact that he really doesn't want anything bad to happen to them or their mother.
4. Ari has mixed feelings about it, in truth. He loves the idea, but there's always a sadness in the back of his mind, and he wonders often if he truly deserves the honor of pups and of passing on his bloodline.
5. It makes him nervous, and so he spends much of his time on edge. If it's what his unexpected family needs, however, he'll suck it up and deal with it - their needs outweigh his own.
6. Yes. Yes he does. He's utterly terrified of them, but won't admit why to anyone, not even himself. There are some issues regarding them buried in the misty veil that is in his past, but good luck getting him to bring it up, let alone get past it.
7. They met at a watering hole during one of Ari's more melancholy moments. The idea of company filled the male with both happiness and self-loathing, because he didn't think at that point in time that he deserved the company of anyone, especially a beautiful female like this one. How he wooed her for that period, however... well some things are best left unsaid.
8. He's from just about everywhere, as he likes to say; but in truth he's wandered the rogue lands most of his life, and traveled with a family of leopards, who didn't see him as a familiar or a companion so much as a slave... beyond that, he won't say.
9. Extremely, in the terms of the way everyone is treated. But he couldn't care less about the home lands anyway, he cares about the girl.
10. Yes, he would. Partly out of loyalty, partly out of a sense of duty and responsibility to the lives he's helped to bring into the world, and partly because... well, he is attracted to her. He just needs to get past the issues he constantly guilts about before he can allow himself to fully fall in love with her.

Mixed feelings flooded Ari as he watched the female hobble up to him, her belly clearly swollen with pregnancy. It was likely difficult for her to move about, being so heavily and obviously pregnant and her crippled leg being of no assistance. Unconsciously, Ari's ears tilted backwards and his tail tucked a little, as he recognized amongst the mixed feelings a stronger-than-usual sense of guilt; guilt that he had gotten her pregnant, guilt that it was hurting her so, and guilt that... he really couldn't help her unless he was allowed to. It was the last one that hurt most of all, tearing at his fragile self-esteem and leaving the cyan wolf almost wordless with self-loathing.
"Hello, Nayeli," he said quietly, voice low with guilt and shaky with nerves. "Are - are you feeling all right? Is - is there anything I can do?" Because he would do anything, he would, so long as it helped her. And though it tore him up inside, especially with how guilt-ridden he was regarding her condition... that he couldn't help but notice that she appeared even more beautiful now than she had when he first met her.
Extra Notes:: It will take a while for Ari to be able to deal comfortably with lions, and though his past won't come up easily ICly, it's essentially this - he had a mate and pups, and they were all kept by a leopard family; they weren't treated very well, but neither were they treated too terribly. But they happened to pass too near an aggressive pride's lands, and the entire family, leopards and maned wolves alike, were all killed. So Ari has a huge case of survivor's guilt, pretty much. Especially because of the loss of the pups. If he can get past his fear of big cats eventually, though, he'll be just as devoted to them as he will be to Nayeli.

Meaning:: "How?"
Owner:: [Eskimo]
Personality:: Not very brave, a little paranoid, suspicious of everyone, pretty religious--definitely unique. He has a strong tendency to ramble and talk fast, mostly because he gets nervous very easily. He has these weird, borderline crazy "conspiracy theories" that he supposedly hears (or makes up), so he's generally pessimistic about life. BUT, he can be corrected if he's wrong or turned around to a brighter outlook by someone (aka Nayeli) at the drop of a hat. But he's a very nice kind of soul. He's not mean or judgmental, just uncertain about...pretty much everything on the face of the planet.
Answers:: (Note: the ones answered in his own words/POV are italicized, and I included the questions ((HOPEFULLY ISS OKAY)) just because my brain wanted to see the questions before his responses. XD -can edit if need be!-)
1. Nayeli isnt going to tell him shes pregnant, how does he figure it out?: (Assuming they stay together up until she gets back home--maybe they planned to part ways there--so some time in her pregnancy had passed...) One day he saw her stomach move and it flipped him the heck out. SCARED. THE HECK. OUT OF HIM.
I DIDN'T...KNOW right away that it was...pups...I thought it might've been, y'know, a flesh-burrowing bug...of some kind. Monkeys will capture you, and they put bugs in your skin. I've heard the stories--they put bugs inside of you, and that's how monkeys...that's how they clone themselves.
...Why--...why're you looking at me like that...?
2. She wont talk to you, and shes got a lioness as protection! How do you feel about this?: I...a LIONESS? It's...I can't compete with that. Maybe I can just...wait it out and see...if I can corner her? NO, stupid, stupid, stupid! If she doesn't want to talk to you--you can't just pace around like a stalker and hope to corner someone and get them to talk to you when they don't want to talk to you in the first place and probably don't like you and hire bodyguards for protection, no, no, NO!
3.How do you get the lioness on your side?: You...you want some meat?

4. How does he feel, knowing hes going to be a father?: Scared and confused. He has mixed feelings. Part of him feels sort of happy, while the other part is freaking out because he has no fatherly-type experience, has never been a role model, hasn't been around pups much, etc. He loves Nayeli, but right now he's freaking out about the thought of her telling him to take a hike.
5. What does he think about the pride that is so close?: It's an accident waiting to happen, for sure.
6. Does he have an issue with big cats?: Big cats? Like, how big? Pretty big...? Yes, issue. Big cats, big issue. ...They like meat, right...?
7. How did they meet?: Well, she was--uhh, I was--...I thought she was something else and I--hid, but...not...very well...

8. Where is he from?: Reasonably far off, in a place positively riddled with hills. Lots of green and brown grasses mixed together, lost of rodents. Good thing about lots of hills is that you're pretty invisible to predators and, y'know, psychopaths and conspirators. Buuuut bad thing about hills is that you can't really look around to SPOT said predators, psychopaths, and conspirators. THUS, Ngani decided the risk of moving to a new location was less than staying.
9. How different, is her home from his?: VERY different. Ngani was completely solitary in his home--no other maned wolves whatsoever (or lions, leopards--anything on an equal IQ level as him). The only other maned wolves he's known were his parents, whom he left at adolescence (like all brave, strapping young men do, HAHAHAH! Ahahaha! Aha! .....Haaa....)
There was no community, veryyyy little activity around... A daily dose of social for Ngani was hearing the ground squirrels babble to each other before he decided to eat one.
10. Does he want to take Nayeli as his mate?: ......Wh........a.....? -CHOKE- I--........-SWALLOW-.......WELL--! -cough- ...well...I...uhhhh...
(That is a yes. He's never been in love before now, but he is flushed-faced-stammering-head-over-heels in love. He's just totally awkward and shy.)
Rp Prompt Reply:: She's finally agreed to see you, belly as big around as the day is long she comes to you. No, she isnt ready to meet you on her own turf yet, it has to be even ground. What do you say, how does she look, how do you feel?
The day finally came when Nayeli agreed to see him again. Whether her lioness friend convinced her, or Ngani's own persistency convinced her, he didn't know. But did it matter? Maybe, maybe, but...she was coming to see him anyway, so it--...
Wow, her stomach was...going to explode.
Heart pounding in his ears, Ngani swallowed, head bent and looking very much lacking in confidence (as usual). He was terrified by the idea of pregnancy, he would admit (uhh, actually, hewouldneveradmitthat, oh gods...)
Ngani could almost feel Nayeli's blue eyes piercing holes into him, sticking into his beating heart and making him bleed--oh GODS, he was a mess, a mess, a mess, vomiting pathetic vaguely-poetic love-sick crap--ughhh, what was wrong with him?!
Speaking of vomit, Ngani was suddenly feeling like he might do just that. His gaze kept flicking nervously up at Nayeli, back and forth, back and forth, ground to face, ground to face.
The idea of her being pregnant because--well, because of him was--...it was...embarrassing and...made him...feel what could only be described as stomach-sick. He was young and didn't really have much...life experience, but he knew the responsibilities of parenthood. He knew that...it takes two to tango, so...his throat felt tight at the thought of her being unhappy about what...what...HAPPENED, so he was sorry, but he wasn't sorry...because he...well, she was...about her, he felt--...it was confusing.
Ohhhhh GODS WHYYY did she keep staring at him--WAIT, SHE WAS SAYING SOMETHING, oh gods what was she saying, he couldn't hear her, his ears kept twitching and his heart beat was flooding his head in steady, hot pumps, vision blurry, mouth clammy, oh gods--! SHUT UP, SHE WAS SAYING SOMETHING. She was saying thing after thing, talking and talking. He couldn't even hear. He couldn't--oh, dear...gods, what if he fainted? He wouldn't be able to take it, no, no, no way. Not in front of Nayeli. She was older than him, and really strong and adventurous and brave--and--everything he...wasn't. How could he be so weak in front of her? He was supposed to be the MALE. WHYYYYY?!
Okay, okay, it was okay, it was okay, he just had to say something. He finally had this opportunity, and he was blowing it. He had missed so many opportunities in his life because of the way he was, but NOT THIS TIME, NO. Not this time. This. Was. His. Chance! He could finally tell her everything he was thinking and--and--...feeling...He could do it...he could...HE COULD! AND HE WAS GOING TO.
THIS. WAS. IT!

Answers::
1. It wasn't that he 'found out', per say. It was more like he knew the act was done and came to seek her out just in case.
2. Its a relief for him, he wouldnt have been able to forgive himself if something had happened to her in his 'forced' absence.
3. You tell her the truth.
4. It was rather unexpected, but its not something he regrets or would change. What was done, was done for a reason, no matter the outcome.
5. He feels comforted that she would seem to have such a large 'family' or group of help and protectors. He is not one to make waves and his focus would be more on her and their family more than the pride anyway.
6. Not at all. If she trusts them, then he does.
7. He was out patrolling along the outside borders of his home when he ran across her. It was more of a friendly, brief, traveling companionship than anything which led to a union (he felt) was more of trust and closeness rather than to sate any desires.
8. He is from a tribe that dwells around a lush oasis. They are a large pack, very laid back, family oriented but are raised to be brave fighters if they need to be to protect their own. Unfortunately, he had to leave her alone one night, hearing the call of his pack in distress. He would rather leave and her hate him if he were never to come back because he was killed, than long for him and break her heart in hopes that he might return when he couldnt.
9. He comes from a more close-knit family who believes in family, honor and protection. It is something he would easily be able to show her and bring to her.
10. Of course. He would have it no other way, but he would respect her if in the end she sent him away. He would trust her reasons.
Rp Prompt Reply:: More than anything he saw this as a chance to explain, and give her some closure. He was neither surprised or expecting anything other to be honest with her, in the same way he always had been.
When he saw her, he only lowered his head a bit almost in a bow of respect as he lowered his eyes. 'Nayeli,' he spoke softly. His tone was already sincere, and he could understand why she was so cautious to meet him. He raised his head again and he smiled at her, looking her over, a warm smile curled on his lips, 'you look beautiful'. He was so proud of her, of them, even if he was never to be apart of this family, another thing he understood.
His look shifted back to her as his look softened from the smile, ears moving back a bit showing he was well aware of the tender situation. He explained to her why he left, why he had to, and that he would rather leave her strong with hate, than broken with hope. He told her of how he came for her, willing and ready, if she would let him. And that he had already said his goodbyes to his only family in such the case he would not return.
Extra Notes:: I might have taken some extra liberties here, Im not sure. But Im flexable c: This is just the general look I want for him at the very least.
