Emily heard her little cousin crying, and saw her lying on the ground, next to Cody. She ran over there, her eyes glistening dangerously.

L walked towards the table and sat down with big, round eyes. "I-i'm a slytherin!" He said out loud.

Jaelyn smiled, grabbing him by the collar. "Yes you can. And, you are. So there." She gave off a deadly smile, more a threat than a friendly greeting.

L wriggled out of his hands. "Fine..." He stuck his tongue out at the girl and crossed his arms.

Jaelyn nodded. "Good to hear it. I'm Jaelyn Khalfani, the current Slytherin Beater. Let go of Emily, and I won't beat you." She had her wand in one hand (11 inches ebony and dragon heartstring, with a lion engraving on the handle, sturdy and strong.), and a balled fist in the other. With Jaelyn, it was hard to tell which was more deadly.

Mark watched them with slight interest and just sighed. "I say you beat him anyway. The kid could use it." he told Jaelyn as he leaned back in his chair.
Sam just sat there fiddling with her fingers in her lap staring at the ground.

Jaelyn rolled her eyes. "Have fun with that... little kid in a house of thugs... I'm going to class. I don't want to be late like some... others." She glared at the Gryffindor table and left.

Jaelyn stopped as L grabbed her pants leg. "What do you think you're doing?" She was incredibly close to Hexing him and leaving.
