Addy moving round and giving Rock a nudge towards Ivory, not saying anything but making it clear what she thought he should do.

The nudge made him jump slightly as he was reminded of Addy's presence. He gave her a nod when he saw the thought in her eyes. Then he looked back to his son. There was so much he wanted to say, so much he wanted to ask. The words were forcing themselves into each other, each trying to be spoken first. "You...you've grown."
ivory blinked back the tears now. Surprise gripping him at his father's blunt remark. Suddenly, he found himself laughing. Unsurely at first and then a fit of giggled. He took a breath after a moment and smiled brightly. "People tend to do that." Now he didn't hold back and stepped forward and wrapped his neck around his dad tightly. "I've found you."

Addy stood smiling brightly, the small twinge of envy she felt at the family reunion fading behind the happyness she had for Rock.

The cascade of questions they both were holding within eachother soon burst and flooded them when the hug ended. Ivory asked about Rock's well being and how he was faring after the family sitation Suprised to find his father had lived through dark days similar to his own. Rock asked the same, and was horrified and guilt striken when informed that his son had shut himself in and spiraled down into a deep depression. But more than pleased to hear about how his best firned had pulled him out of it.
Though soon enough the question popped up. ivory turned to Addy, who was standing with a faint smile a few paces away. "I am sorry miss, my name is Ivory. I was just wondering who you are."

Addy blinked having been lost in a happy daze, her nose going pink. "I'm Addy, you two keep talking, I'll go get everyone something to eat." Wanting to give them some time together, finding the large leaf, though he would need a bigger one today.

ivory smiled and also blushed. "Thank you." He said quietly. There was no words that could express his gratitude for how she had reunited him with his father, but those would have to do.
As addy walked away Rock smiled after his with deep love, then, turning back to his son he gave him a knowing look. "We both owe her more than you know. She saved me. And..." he took a deep breath. He had to tell Ivory some time or another he reasoned with himself, "I love her."

Addy not gone for ages but spending enough time to fill the larger scrap of cloth she had found, it looking like it had been part of a blanket at some point. Eventually dragging the large bundle back.

they both looked at her when she came back with the bundle. Rockstar though, was the first to smile. His eyes kind and gentle and he walked up to her. Stroking her neck softly when she came into reach. "i told him." he said simply.
And told him he had. Ivory stood and watch, with the faint hint of a smile playing on his lips as he watched them. Rockstar had told his son everything, how Addy had taken care of him, helped him realized he had always loved her. Rock had apologized about the fact the love he shared with ivory's mother was never true, just puppy love. And somehow, Ivory understood. He looked at this mare, this new family member and wondered what the next few days would be like now.

Worry crossing her face, looking from one to the other, only relaxing when she saw that things were still good. Nuzzling Rock's neck gently. "I'm glad but.. I'd have had to bite you had it been too soon for him." clearly having been worried for both of them. Offering Ivory a small smile. "I baby sat you all once, you were still all baskets back then, I'm really glad you came looking for him..." Moving closer to Ivory and giving him a small hug. "He loves all of you you know..." Her words soft, just for Ivory.

ivory blushed at the contact but only hesitated for a moent before returning the embrace. "I know. Ive realized." He smiled, brow furrowed with still some worry and confusion. Which was only to be expected. "Dad talked about you alot. Always with such happy stories and smiles. So I can accept...this. For now. Before I learn to understand and agree with it." He smiled, meaning no hurt behind any of his words.
Rock couldn't hear all of their quiet conversation, but he did pick up a few words. But as he watched the two loves of his life, his heart swelled. Everything would be alright, he told himself, everything would be alright now.

Addy smiled and nodded. "I hope so, I just want him to be happy.." Knowing that Rock would be happier with Ivory around and she would do what she could to make sure Ivory stayed around. Tugging the corner of the blanket over revealing a huge pile of apples. "Now, dig in."

Rock didn't need telling twice and jumped on the first apple almost like a panther. Laughing as he crunched it whole. Feeling even happier than he had with just Addy.
Ivory sat down politely and rolled an apple over to himself with his nose. "Thank you very much." He said, looking up at Adela.

Addy smiles and nods. "Your welcome." Taking an apple for herself and munching on it as she settles, watching the males, so alike and different at the same time. Smiling broardly, happy that one of them had looked for Rock.

Rock crunched his way through another three apples quickly and then paused, looking over at his pink son. "So where are you at now ivy? You said, Sonnet was it, took you in for awhile for you to get away. Are you still with him and his family?"
Ivory looked up from his half-eaten apple and nodded with a small smile. "Thats right. I think I should go back to mom and Hoshi and RC in a little while. To visit atleast. Though our family is kind of all over the place at the moment, so I can't really live with them. Aunt Sel and uncle Sui say that they would happily take me in but I think I will stay with Sonnet for the time being. Home wise."

Tilting her head smiling as the name rings a bell. "Akuba's Sonnet?" That would explain what he was doing near Ab's place as the family lived close to him and they got on well.
