Do we have an official introductions thread? I know we've been using the great hall, but I think that is for more general discussion (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still fairly new).
I think an official thread would help new students get to know each other and be more comfortable socializing, promoting posting more frequently.

Well that is usually the great hall indeed where we do things, very good of you to notice. but i am actually planning on once we have all our teachers on opening up something like that, since for now, i don't have many teachers to introduce or anything. so i think once all teh teachers are selected i will make something of the sort smile

0-Azula-0 where do the profiles for the students and teachers go Well, what house you are in is in teh crew list announcment, but about yourself, that type of thing, you can post in your common room if you wish, but some students don't really want to i guess. but once student schedules go up, i will make an announcment for that, and i will post everyone's schedule, how long they've been here, that type of thing with it. also if they are in quidditch, i will post their position that goes along with that. but your profile and if you wish to have stuff about yourself, then you can post it in the great hall, common room, or for stories, you can put it in the pensieve

alrighty then razz I just wondered how we were supposed to know peoples names and stuff. I think we should all post in our house colors, the student. like Slytherin is green, and so on

I think we should all post in our house colors, the student. like Slytherin is green, and so on Well you see, for now it doesn't matter as much since there are so few people, but if you go to the first page of this topic, you'll see that people can put in crests as their tektek format and all, so people will have crests of their house everytime we post. once a few more people come in, i will not be as lenient on people posting without it. (in the rules it says post your house, but for now since there are few people, i am not as concerned about that)

I have a question/suggestion, will there be a profile thread? You know, so that everyone can get a chance to design their character and plus, to me, it's one of the fun parts of a RP. It may also help others get an idea of what a particular character is like...even though the character themselves won't know anything becides a face and a name till they get to know the person.
