When some warning shots splattered nearby, Nate grinned. So at least the guy had the sense to keep his senses on guard. He checked his gun, making sure nothing was going to jam or backfire on him.
Which of course it wouldn't: Nate took excellent care of his gear. It was one of the few things he ever took care of, and it was surprising that he had such a sentimental streak in him. But his gun and his armor were two of the very few possessions he actually had, that were his own. He had bought these things with his own money, earned it just for them.
That was big, considering Nate wouldn't work for anyone or anything else.
Moving from the hiding place, Nate charged. He moved around some barrels to get behind Reed, lifting his gun and firing a few rapid shots at his opponent from fairly close range. Nate was an aggressive player, and was well aware that close up shots tended to hurt.
