"Wonderful!" Amara clapped her hands together and headed over to the sliding door that Kaku was holding open for her. She giggled in such an innocent way as she said "Thank you," and left through the door. Amara waited for him to close it before they headed down the hall and outside of the Academy. She didn't plan on heading too far away afterall. Just sitting outside the gates so they could see if anyone was heading to the Academy.
Once they were outside, Amara leaned against the wall and looked up to the sky. The masked woman still smiled as she turned to look at Kaku once more. She didn't seem like a killer. And certinly at this point she was not his enemy. Of course that would only be until someone said her trigger phrase. But with all luck that would not happen.
"I really like it here. How long have you been in this village Kaku? Were you born here?" Since she didn't know about her own past, Amara decided to ask about Kaku's. It would be interesting to hear his tale, and she was always up for a good story.

|Jounin| Medic|True Souseki Fuuin Holder| Kakouton shrugged his shoulders as he commented on what she said about really liking the village. "It's an alright village, It's been destroyed then rebuilt." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck. As she asked him about his past. "It's kind of a long story but I suppose we have time," He said as he smiled as he leaned against the wall next to Amara. He then started his story.
"I was born in this village to the late Mitsuomi and Maya Takayanagi, both of which died in the attack of the village a few years back. I almost died in the attack as well but my ability to heal myself was the reason I didn't. After the I had gained this seal on the back of my neck, through some unknown way," He said as paused, turned around and pointed at the spot where the Souseki Fuuin's diamond was place. It looked like a smug on his neck from far away.
"So after that I helped rebuild the village and from the ruins, a new Raikage emerged and appointed me his jounin." He finished up the last little bit of his story. "But what about you, why the skull mask?" He asked in wonder of why she wore it. Surely she had a beautiful face, so why hide it behind a mask? Total Chakra:400

"Oh...I am sorry to hear about your loss..." she wore an expression of sadness. She really did feel bad for Kaku. Parents seemed like such nice things to have. And the daimond on the back of his neck was strange as well. She wondered what had happened to him and who had done it. Of course, she seemed to brighten up just as quickly.
"But even when bad things happen, good things come out of it right? I mean, the village is rebuilt so it wasn't completely destroyed, we have a new Raikage, and you got an even higher position! It may not seem like much, but this gives you a chance to meet new people!" The woman smiled to him.
Of course when he asked her about the mask, Amara stopped. She reached up and touched the mask with both hands. The air around them seemed to get dead quiet. It was eerie how that had happened. But she slowly began speaking up as she caressed the polished bone. "I....can't really say. I guess I'm very self concious. But I feel safe when I wear it. I only take it off when I go to sleep or shower, and even then it is right next to me. I guess it's just my security blanket..."

|Jounin| Medic|True Souseki Fuuin Holder| Kakouton wiped his eyes as he became teary-eyes about losing his parents. "It's alright, they are in a better place, I suppose," He said as he wiped the tears from his eyes with the back of his hand. Kakouton let out a small laugh when Amara had talked about him and his new position and getting to meet new people. It was true, he loved meeting new people and deep down even if he didn't know you very well, he still would give anything to protect you. "Sorry If this is to much to ask, but could you atleast lift it up so I can get atleast a peek at your face?" Kakouton asked expecting the answer to be a no and for her to turn away from him. He was even prepared for it. Total Chakra:400

He was a smart man. Amara did just that when he asked her to lift it up. "I can't...I'm sorry. I would like too but I just do not feel comfortable with it." She kept her hands firmly on the top of her mask, that way if someone tried to remove it they would be met with some resistance.
Of course, she wasn't offended at all. She just wasn't comfortable with removing it. Everyone had their little quirks, and this one was Amara's. She had wished she could give him a batter answer as to why she didn't want to remove it, but she had no good answer to give him.

|Jounin| Medic|True Souseki Fuuin Holder| Kakouton sighed as he put his hand on her shoulder and smiled softly at her. "Just when your ready to take it off, I'll be waiting," He said as he then patted her shoulder before returning his arm to his side. The mask kind of made Kakouton uneasy. It was kind of like a trust thing. I trust you, you trust me sort of ordeal. But he let it go. He wouldn't ever bring it back up nor would her let one of the other students bring it up. When she was ready for it to be taken off, she would do just that. Total Chakra:400

Amara flinched slightly. She had expected him to try and take it off. Of course, his hands didn't go to her mask, it went to her shoulders instead. The woman looked up at him as he spoke his words before releasing her. She stood there blinking for a few moments before her arms wrapped around his waist. She pressed her face, and thus the skull, against his chest.
"You aren't going to make me take it off? Oh I'm so happy! Everyone else has tried so hard to make me take it off! Even the guy at the Ramen shop! He says that if he can't see my face, then I don't exist. It's really hurtful ya know.." Amara looked up at him. She realized what she had been doing and quickly let go and backed away.
"S..sorry..I didn't mean too. I hope you won't get into trouble...I guess that would make you look bad if a student was hugging on you huh?"

|Jounin| Medic|True Souseki Fuuin Holder| The young Jonin was stunned at first that the masked girl had hugged him at first. At first he didn't react the he wrapped his left arm around her shoulders and patted her right shoulder. While doing so he looked away in a slight blush as he rubbed the back of his neck. When Amara broke free, after realizing she was hugging her teacher, he looked down at her and smiled. "It's quite alright." He assured her. "Why would you think I would make you take it off?" He asked rather curious to hear what she had to say about this one. Total Chakra:400

Amara rubbed the back of her head a little as she looked at the ground. "Um...well...I guess people normally don't trust you when they can't see your face. I've had lots of people try to take it off..or others, like merchants, won't let me buy stuff from them if I have it on. It's made things difficult for me here. So far though, nobody has been successful in seeing my face.."
She continued to look down before turning her head up and looking to Kaku again. "I do wish I could be like everyone else. I wish I didn't have this inner need to wear it. But I do. Like I said, even when I take it off, it is still right next to me. I sleep with the skull. It is very precious to me.."

It would be hard for me not to as he smiled and patted the skull on the top of her head. "Plus, how would that seem if I didn't trust you?" He asked as he returned his arm to his side.
As Amara continued the young man shook his head. Be like everyone else? Nonsense. Why be like everyone else when you are perfect as your self? Those are just a few things he pondered before contradicting her statement. "Being yourself, is just fine. Its better to be yourself than to just be like another person anyway, dont you think?" He asked as he chuckled slightly. Total Chakra:400

Amara smiled and nodded. She seemed happy to get a pat on her head. Even if it was the skull he had pat. It made her feel happy. Like she had done a good job. It was something she seemed to yearn for and yet she couldn't figure out why.
Absentmindedly, she blurted out "Thank you Master! I'm so happy you approve" But she couldn't figure out why she had said that. Those words struck her as being strange, and she shook her head before rephrasing what she had said. "I mean..Thank you..."
The woman looked up to Kaku and nodded once again. "I agree! But...people don't. Hey! Maybe next time you can come with me! I mean, since you are a Jounin, there aren't too many people that can say no to you right?"

|Jounin| Medic|True Souseki Fuuin Holder| Kakouton smiled and blushed at Amara calling him 'Master'. He was happy that one of his students liked him. It gave him the warm and fuzzy feeling inside. He got to urge to want to wrap his arms around, but that would be inappropriate for a teacher to be so close with their student. "Your welcome," He replied as he leaned against the wall with his hands behind his back.
The young Jounin kept smiling, as it was a warm smile at the thought of people not denying him, just because he was such a high rank. "Your right, not to many people can say no to what I want, when it come to getting something material," Kakouton explained to his young pupil. "By the way, what do you specialize in? Taijutsu? Ninjutsu? Genjutsu? Fuuinjutsu?Medical ninjutsu?" He asked going on and on with the list and types of jutsu. Total Chakra:400

Amara thought for a moment and nodded when he said Genjutsu. "Ah, yes that one! Genjutsu is going to be my speciality. I do not wish to cause anyone physical harm. I figure that if I can manipulate their mind, then perhaps I could just get them to stop fighting. Afterall, it would be nice if we all got along right?"
Amara smiled and turned around. She grabbed Kaku's hand and began pulling him. "The students still aren't here yet. Isn't there somewhere else we can go to pass the time Kaku? I'm tired of being bored! Not that you're boring, but this scenery has gotten old. I want to go somewhere new!"

Kakouton's smile turned into a slight frown as Amara had said It would be great if they could all stop fighting and get along. "That would be great, but the would just isn't like that today..." He said as the last part was under his breath as to not take away her optimistic mindset.
Kakouton blushed as his hand was taken by Amara and lead off somewhere. "We could get something to eat, and its close by. My treat as your my first student," He said with a wide and bright smile on his face.

"Really?! Oh! I want to get the dumplings! I love dumplings! And some meat buns too! Oh and some jasmine rice! And some Egg Drop soup! And some Udon!" Amara continued to spout off various foods. It was as if the woman hadn't eaten anything in months of even years by the way she was talking. Though that was obviously not so. While the woman was thin, the mass of flesh on her chest said that she ate well.
"Where is this place? Take me to it! And then I'll be the best student you've got! Well...I was planning on doing that anyway...But I'm the only one that showed up on time!" Amara smiled as she clamped onto Kaku's arm and held it tightly.
