(I like Truant and Duncan myself)
Sabina laid flat in the water. "Rick sounds so harsh as well. Not sure why."
She shrugged and smiled. "Duncan, Do you fish?"
She frowned. "That pony must not be nice. That nickname doesn't suit you. Your name is fine the way it is." She rolled onto her back and stared at the three.

"Ah, " said Adalric. "Well, I have an appointment to keep- a place I'm casing as well." He winked at Duncan. "See you around, Sabina." He strode off.
Duncan nodded uncomfortably. "All sailors must know how to fish."
Truant's lips thinned. "Grisamara is very lovely," he said quietly.

"Nice to meet you Adal." She waved him goodbye.
She smiled. "I'm sorry if that made you uncomfortable. I understand your need. It must be interesting though."
She looked at the sky. "Ah. I see. You have feelings for her. That is nice. Sorry if I offended you. It must be nice to be considered lovely by someone."

"I see many different kinds of fish in my sailing season," said Duncan with renewed interest.
Truant inclined his head. "Grisamara is an incomparable beauty. Many see her loveliness. To love an Angel is an affront so I can't say I do love her."

Sabina flopped her tail down. She rested on her back a bit. "Yes so many kinds. Do you have a favorite Duncan?"
She sighed. "Is she a real Angel? I've always wondered if they exist. Ah that is still nice." She sighed again. Why did no one like her like that she was thinking.

Duncan pondered. "I like... clownfish. They're so odd."
"No," said Truant. "She is more lovely than an angel: she is a demon and more beautiful for her darkness." He turned tto the water. "I have never seen a true angel... Everyone differs on their representations of them... For all you know, you could be an angel. Or Duncan." He smirked.

Sabina smiled. "They are cute and funny. I quite enjoy their antics."
"Ah you have a crush on her. Yes that would be nice to see." She rolled onto her belly and looked at both of them.

Duncan smiled. "I think they're very nice to look at. Do you have a favourite fish?"
"I don't crush," said Truant, frowning. "Is it so hard to admire someone without being in love?"

Sabina tilted her head and thought. "I like Trigger fish and Puffers mostly. They can be cute and fun."
Sabina looked at him. "Would you know the difference? It can be quite difficult. At least that is what I hear."

Sabina flopped her fin happily. "Oh so you have seen them too! Yes they can hurt a bit. What else do you like Duncan?" She was curious now.
She stared at Truant. "You poor guy. Ah well. I'd hug you but..." She pointed at her tail. "I can't get too much further ashore. Do you want a hug?" She looked at him quizzically.

Truant had never been asked if he wanted a hug before. He grinned and went closer to her and wrapped his arms around her cool and damp body. "Thanks," he said.
Duncan frowned at the 'liberties' Truant was taking. He cast around for something to say. Truthfully, he only liked simple things, like well-worn boots and cool weather. "I like apple tarts..." he said desperately.

She smiled and hugged him back. "No problem." She tilted her head.
"Apple tarts? Are they good? I haven't had many land foods. Did you want a hug too?" She was such a loving girl. Some said too loving.
Typheryl saw her tail and swam as close as possible. "Sabs what is taking so long? I thought we were..." He noted the two land boys and sighed. "Oh you're busy. I'll tell everyone we can start then." He turned tail and swam back.
Sabina nodded at Ty and smiled. "Not today. Ok." She waved goodbye to him and turned back to the boys.

Truant sat on a big rock nearby. "Friend of yours?" he asked.
"That's a kind offer but no, I'm fine for... hugs. Apple pies are very... nice. Sweet."

She smiled. "Yes he is. Ty and Tang often play fish tag with me. But I am occupied today."
She looked to Duncan. "If you're sure. Ok. Sweet. I'd like to try one sometime. Oh do you know what this is?" She reaches into her hair and pulls out a compass.
