they could of at least i don't know, moved the gears around a bit. Some of these new pokemon look kind of... horrible. But I think thats how I feel about every new gen at first. I'll get used to it. Besides some I actually find pretty cool. Like the electric possom thing, and the chinchilla and that bear. Oh and the buffelo and that deer.... and that other thing!

Actually, I think Diglett is worse,.
HERE'S ONE HEAD.
EVOLVES
NOW THERE'S THREE.
This Pokemon at least has some alteration, not just three look-a-like parts.
For some reason I think megneton is better, even though it's the same concept. XD

Gigigear is one of my favorite new ones!
Is there anything more awesome than fighting with a giant meshing of gears. NO! THERE ISN'T!
I'm curious about the english names. My limited knowledge of Japanese found some punny names that I hope will translate well.

Lots of nice ghost types all around. I like ghost types. Also, badass sea turtle.

I've seen a bit of gameplay from the Black & White versions and the Pokemon sprites actually move during battle, so maybe Gear might actually spin while fighting. That might make it a little cooler.
But in general yeah, I agree with Jazzy. This seems worse than Magneton and Dugtrio because there's just so much more that they could have done with this that it seems like they just didn't try.

Also, badass sea turtle. Fire/Ghost seems like a missed moment of awesome to me. It could easily be based around a Will-'O-the-Wisp, some sort of demon, etc., and they go for a possessed chandelier. Still a huge improvement over possessed balloon, though.
