Chaonis heard someone calling him distantly, but his ears were ringing from the crunch of metal that had happened around him. His head was pounding, and he wasn't sure if it was because of the sound or if it was because he had hit it at some point during all the tumbling and flying around. He didn't really care about the cause, though: all that really mattered was the fact that it hurt.
And he could probably blame it on Rosalind.
That thought made the voice calling him become clear, and he realized it was her. He felt her, he presumed as it made sense as the next logical step, trying to tug him free of the car he had recently made his spot for a nap, and soon enough he was free. He was laying on his back, staring up at her, his legs not wanting to work when she pulled him free and thus keeping him on the ground.
"You should be," he grumbled at her apology. He sat up, wincing, rather glad his Senshi-gear happened to be padded. Not that it had helped much, but it certainly could have been worse. He was bruised and dirty, maybe some torn skin, but it seemed he was all in one piece. "Did you just hit me with a car? I'm going to need your insurance information."
He grunted, getting to his feet and wobbling a bit, before glaring at her and pretending he was less hurt and dizzy than he felt. "I owe you one for that." At first it sounded like he meant for her killing the youma for him, and essentially saving his life, but no, that wasn't what he meant at all. "Next time we fight something, I get to be the one in the car, and you get to be the one in front of it."

How despicably rude! Rosalind had the decency to apologize for accidentally hitting him (besides, it's not like she was ill-intentioned; she was trying to save his life!) and Chaonis threw it all back in her face. This was why she was always apprehensive to apologize-- because of people like him.
"Oh, don't assume there will be a next time, rookie," Rosalind spat, crossing her arms, "because if I had my way, I would never look at that rotten little face again." She scoffed, looked upon him condescendingly, then added, "besides, even if there is a 'next time,' your aim probably won't be any better, so I doubt you'll be hitting me at all." Rosalind was incredulous that a man would threaten to attack a woman-- what kind of society did they live in?
... Especially because she was so beatiful! At any rate, Rosalind pulled out her senshi phone and went to register Chaonis into it, but then looked at his rugged boy-face (it was disgusting) and decided it wasn't even worth the effort. Especially because she felt that he wasn't kidding about running her over. Putting her phone back up, Rosalind turned her back to the Soldier of Danger, then added, "anyways, I've got things to do. Nice things that you can only dream of doing." Rosalind didn't mention that at this very moment said thing was probably waiting for her right now, and that she would probably have to wait until next year to do it. Spa appointments were awful in that way.
Without a good-bye, or hand-wave or any notion of a farewell, Rosalind dashed off and out of sight from Chaonis. Although she would never admit it (not even to herself), there was a part of her that would have liked to work with the boy again. He was intriguing in a disgusting way.

Chaonis waved his hand dismissively, like he didn't believe her indignation for a moment. People like her were wont to over exaggerate everything, right? So she couldn't really be that upset with him: just look at how she had thrown herself back at the beginning of this whole ordeal, when he had barely tugged her. Barely.
Anyway, his face wasn't rotten: he was damned handsome. She just couldn't handle it.
"I might be a rookie, but at least that gives me an excuse. Why do your attacks suck so bad, if you're such a veteran? I mean, seriously, do you just hit everything with a car, and that's it? Actually, no, I don't want to know the answer. I don't care."
He shook his head, scoffing.
By that point she had turned her back on him, and he scowled at her back, making a face. He couldn't imagine what she thought he dreamed about, but whatever she was going to do was certainly not it. He watched her go, then looked around when he heard some emergency vehicles heading their way. He clicked his tongue behind his teeth and ran the other way, vanishing so he could power down and return to Tony's car.
Hopefully it wouldn't be too badly dented or anything.
FIN!
