Vali's head lifted up too as he heard the little girl's name. His hidden eyes looked over the wolfish man and watched as the pretty little spawn ran over to him and latched on. She was such a cute little kid. He listened as she explained what they were doing and somewhere he felt a bit worried that her guardian might not like someone of his age hanging out alone with someone of her's.
But when Auryn ran back to him and knocked on his leg he looked down at felt heat again rise to his cheeks. "Thank you for thinking it is cool Auryn. Though I do feel sorry for those poor birds." He looked back up to the adult and took the man's hand firmly, "It is a pleasure to meet you sir. No she has been wonderful. She is a very sweet girl. I enjoyed feeding the birds with her. I was about to try and get us second cups."

"Well, thank you for looking after her for a while. It's always nice to see Auryn making new friends," Santana said with a nod. "Though, I'm afraid we've got to be going."
"Aww," Auryn whined, her shoulders slumping as she sulked. "But I wanna feed the birds again."
"Maybe you and Vali can come back to the zoo another day and feed the birds then," the guardian offered, reaching out for her hand. "Now say goodbye."
Ryn pouted some, but knew better than to push things. She'd glance up at Vali, looking as hopeful as a blind child could. "It was fun meeting you, Vali." She wrapped her arms around him in one last hug before going to take Santana's hand. "Hope to see you again!"

Vali smiled brightly and gave a nod, "Well I do hope that we can meet up again. Maybe we can go bird watching when your a bit earlier." He ducked down to give her a warm hug before she went to take the wolf man's hand.
"Oh sir could I give you my contact information so that maybe me and Auryn could hang out again?" He tried not to look as hopeful as she had looked up at him.

"Bird watching?" Auryn's jaw nearly fell through the floor. Oh, that would be tons of fun! Why hadn't she ever thought of going bird watching before?
Her guardian chuckled, and nodded his head, "Sure, I don't see a problem with that. You find me a pen and something to write on, we can exchange numbers."
"I'll find something!" the girl nearly shouted, and ran off towards the woman still giving out cups. Not a second later she was back, shoving a pencil and paper in Santana's direction. "Here, here!"
Santana took the pencil and paper, wrote down his number and passed it towards Vali.

Vali could not help but smile at the excitement that was shining from Auryn little face. He had thought about it often but had never gone to do it. Now he would have a friend go with him and it made the idea even more pleasing to his mind.
When the wolf suggested to get things to write with he was about to run over to the woman with the bird feed but Auryn already sped of to her. He turned to watch her instead of talking to her guardian.
When she returned and Santana wrote down his information and passed the paper to Vali he quickly wrote down his information as well and tore that from the paper he handed that paper piece back. "Thank you sir. I will look into the bird watching and give you a call with the information. It was wonderful to meet you Auryn. I hope to see you again soon."
