(Okay, I'm sorry girls, but I've gotta say this and I'm not tryin' to sound picky, but rules of rp and all that... Your two characters were no where near the bar and all of a sudden they show up and just happen to be right behind ATe when she says what she says...Not really realistic...even for goddesses.

And 2: There's really nothin' to tell Zeus because she was only saying what she dreams of...not what she's planning...and she said she knew it wouldn't happen...so you wouldn't be telling him anything he didn't know... Kind of try to write your characters as realistic as possible in the way they have to get from point A to point B...and finish conversations before just popping in wherever...'Cause that's a little close to godmodding...

Also, try to remember the one paragraph/five sentence rule when you post. Thanks.)

(Please post your comments in the OCC next time. Do not make me give out warnings. RagenFallon is correct when it comes to the bar scene with Ate, Hera, and Psyche. They were no where near to hear what she said. I understand if Hera heard the last part of the sentence, but to hear the whole conversation is not possible. As for comments, please keep it in the OCC next time. That includes this comment that I posted, which I will copy and paste in there. And yes, please remember the five sentences/paragraph rule. And lastly, as a fellow crew member, please remember that even though we have the title as crew member, we are still members of a guild. Crew members, in my view, should always abide by all guild rules since we have a title. As Uncle Ben would say to Peter Parker, "With great powers come with great responsibility." So without further ado, lets continue on with the show.)

Lady of Darkness

Persephone giggled, looking up at Ate from her bar stool. She wondered on the side why bars had stools instead of chairs. She was already wobbling and she head the sides of the stool in a vice grip that paled her knuckles. Every once in a while she'd notice that the ground was really close to her all of a sudden and she'd straighten up.

Somehow, the question Ate was asking was very funny. She'd never quite felt this type of giddiness. "Of coursh not!" she giggled, "He... H-He, he doeshn't know w...wh-what I did." She bit her lip, looking up at the other goddess like a guilty child, "Hades w-would b... be most ups-s-set with me if he d-did." Her sentence ended with a drunk little hiccup. She could not keep herself from stuttering.

Her head reeled and she started to fall forward, catching herself against the bar. "Whoaa..." she murmured, "I... I think I drank too much..." Her head was heavy and her throat burned, but somehow everything was very amusing. She tried to think about Hades and returning home soon like she promised, but thinking made her feel very fuzzy. She didn't like it.

She looked up again at Ate, "Wh... Why are you here?" she asked.

An old man suddnley walks up to Dionysus. "Sup, man!" He said laughing. He picked up his drink, and clinked glasses with him, laughing. He was notacibly developing a blush, showing that he was getting drunk. "Wha!?!? Why's ate here?" He asked dramatically.

♫♀♥ Dionysus, God of Wine ♥♂♪
╚═══════════════╝

Dionysus seemed to be watching Ate with mild interested, but he was yet again barely swayed by her small tantrum, his only sign of reacting to it in any way being him shifting over in his seat a little, but that could have been simply because he was getting comfortable.

“I believe everyone is somehow angry at Zeus at one point or another... It is incredibly difficult not to be.” He muttered quietly, his attention suddenly shifting to Persephone.

With a friendly grin he waved back at her, but his presence was soon forgotten by the conversing goddesses, and so he took the polite route out and chose not to involve himself. After all, he had no idea what they were really talking about. It would be unfair for him to contribute to the conversation without knowing all the details; “I suppose I’ll get back to you two when you’re both done...” He whispered under his breath.

Dionysus flinched visibly when he suddenly heard a booming voice next to him, but he sighed in relief when he realised who it was, “Ah, Poseidon, it’s nice to see you...” He sipped at his wine rather delicately now, his eyes fixed on Ate and Persephone. He wasn’t trying to be rude, of course. He was simply very interested in their conversation, “I’m not sure why she’s here, but she seems rather angry. I assume she’s attempting to drown her sorrows the easy way...” He sighed, disappointedly this time, as he shook his head, “I hate to see alcohol used that way. It’s meant for celebration, not to be abused so much you forget your own name...”

He pouted, almost childishly, at this thought. He knew fully well that mortals abused his precious wine all the time, but seeing a divine being drunk and angry seemed to strike a nerve inside him, “Why can’t people just drink and be merry, like I intended them to...”

Prometheus

Prometheus sighed as he strode down the busy street. Well, at least Ate's trail is easy to follow...' And, sadly enough, it was. Prometheus simply had to look for evidence of- or the presence of- fisticuffs, heated arguments, and a couple of dented bumpers, which were likely the victims of road rage. He'd found the trail not far outside Ate's palace, and followed it without break to this street, proving that Ate had stormed through here not long ago, and hadn't bothered with any of the quicker methods of transportation available to gods. On the other hand, stomping down a street did occasionally make for a good stress reliever.

He rounded a corner, and noted a surprising concentration of godly power in a nearby building. As he approached, however, the reason for it was made quite clear: it was a usually-quiet bar, which served a wide variety of drinks and generally had a corner in which to hide if you wished... several gods, according to the scuttlebutt Prometheus had heard, used this place as a getaway to cool down in.

The god/titan was once again grateful for the invisibility trick he'd learned, allowing him to travel through the numerous altercations from the palace to here without difficulty. And those altercations were becoming more frequent and longer-lasting... Prometheus wasn't merely catching the tail end of the arguments anymore. She was definitely near, and probably in that bar...

The eternal planner approached the establishment in question, taking a deep breath and wondering why in creation he didn't have a plan for this yet, then stepped into the bar and let his invisibility illusion fade. "Ate?"

I have planned for everything, so why are they always surprised when I see it coming?

Goddess of Ruin

Some Fall from Heaven

The goddess of ruin sent a glare over her shoulder at Dionysus. "Everybody has good reason to be angry at Zeus. He only cares about himself...All his little offspring are proof of that." She waved a hand bitterly at herself. "He fathers us and forgets us...Good old dad." She rolled her eyes and turned back to Persephone...

With a sigh, Ate ordered a large pitcher of water, two glasses and two cups of black coffee as she observed Persephone through foggy eyes and listened to Dionysus still complaining behind her. Her world was fuzzy and spinning and there was a dull ache between here ears, but she was still able to sense the strong collection of immortal activity in this bar...and she didn't like it. Especially when the hair on the back of her neck stood up upon the entrance of Poseidon.

Catching Persephone by one arm to steady her as the goddess was a slightly more than tipsy, Ate took a seat on the bar stool between the god of wine and goddess of innocence and wondered just how she got herself here. "Drink the water, Persephone. It'll help with the woozyness...and when the coffee comes, sip it slowly. It'll sober you up." She said matter of factly.

The very idea of Persephone leaving the Underworld and Hades was enough to sober Ate up enough to think a little more clearly...and she was taking inventory of all the gods and goddesses in the room. Her situation wasn't looking good.

"I'm just here to blow off some steam...being alone all the time starts to wear on a girl." Her words slurred as she answered her half sister and tried to think of a way to get out of here without getting herself into any deeper potential trouble.

"We'll sober up, Persephone, then I'll help you get-" Ate froze, wincing as she heard her name from a familiar voice. A shiver ran down her spine and she waved a hand dismissively without looking.

"Go away. I'm not nearly drunk enough to hallucinate again..." She tried to sound careless, nonchalant, but the pain was evident in her voice and the way her shoulders slumped as if someone had struck her from behind.

Prometheus

Prometheus sighed as he stepped into the bar, quickly finding Ate even though her outfit blended quite well with the bar's dim interior. "Ate... you're not hallucinating. I'm sorry I had to leave..."

He walked over, stopping short of the bar and stayed standing where he was, since the bar stools to both sides of Ate were currently full. "Can you forgive me for leaving without saying something? I... didn't want to wake you."

Prometheus very nearly bit his lip, unsure of her response. After what was apparently so long apart, to vanish on her without warning would've been quite a shock... he could guess her initial reaction, both from the condition of her lounge and the various brawls he'd passed on the way here. But hopefully that was only an initial reaction...

I have planned for everything, so why are they always surprised when I see it coming?

Persephone tilted her head to the side, looking confused. "H..Help me w-with what?" she asked, her words running together slightly. She pulled her arms in close to her body, as if that would bring her more control of her now sluggish limbs.

She looked at Dionysus and smiled sheepishly. "I am sh..sorry, Brother," she said, her lips clumsily forming her words, "I did not mean to a-abuse your d...domain." She knew precisely why she was drinking. She drank to forget the ominous message of the Oracle. Clearly, it had not worked as she'd intended.

An old man who her half-brother waved to caught her attention. She flashed a bright smile at him and waved, flirting without really realizing it. She giggled, "Oh! Hello, Posh... Poseidon!"

Her attention shifted to the exchange between Ate and Prometheus with interest. She did not know what they were talking about. Other than when Ate said that Zeus often forgot his children. She couldn't say she blamed him... he had so many children she was positive he had lost track of some. Zeus had allowed his brother to steal her away from her home on Olympus despite the fact that she as his daughter and the daughter of two Olympians. But she couldn't say no. He was Zeus. And she had made the best of it and fallen in love with her captor, but her freedom had been taken from her.

Seems that he wasn’t sure of how to reply to Ate, because he knew fully well about how careless Zeus could be towards his children, he simply shrugged at her and finished his second glass of wine without mishap.

This was when he noticed Persephone talking to him. He waved a hand lazily at her, as if to wave her apology away, “I do not really care what you do with your drinking. I am practically the only one thinking straight here, and others who are doing exactly the same as you surround me. There is no need for apologies. After all, actions speak louder than words, but I highly doubt anyone, god or mortal, would ever souly drink alcohol for celebration. It’s purpose has been twisted much too far to be reverted back...”

He sighed deeply, glanced around at everyone in the bar, and then ordered another glass of wine. He couldn’t help but consider joining them in their drunken stupor, but it would take quite a few glasses of wine to do that, “... I have no sorrows to drown. What a pity, I can’t join in...”

He was obviously still a little stung by the subject of alcohol abuse, but he tried his best to push that thought from his mind.

But, he was a god obsessed with entertainment, and when he became bored he expected people to cheer him up. Years upon years of worship by his Maenads and satyrs had made him almost spoiled, so when he felt the first signs of boredom hitting him he became grumpy and even more childish than before, putting on a pout again, “Hmph. I’d much rather some attention than being left out though...” He muttered, propping his arm up on the counter so he could rest his head upon it.

For divine beings, some of them could be so dull, even though some seemed to be going through difficult times, which usually interested him. He was disappointed, to say the least. And so he simply watched, waiting for someone to acknowledge him once again so he could finally do something vaguely interesting.

Goddess of Ruin

Some Fall from Heaven

Ate had hunched over the counter, downing the black coffee in one gulp and slamming the mug back down on the table. "Help you. I'm going to at least get you on your way back to Hades...A cab at the least." She said to her half-sister as she slid the remaining coffee cup over to her. "Now drink that." she ordered.

When Prometheus spoke again, Ate's entire body jolted...she felt as though an electric current had been shot through her frame. The hairs on the back of her arms stood on end and a shiver ran down her spine. She turned slowly, looking over her shoulder and arching one of her elegant black brows to look at him. Her human form was having a hard time keeping itself in place as her brown eyes suddenly flashed red and her hands closed into fists at her sides.

So it wasn't a dream...he just didn't think she was worth the trouble of a goodbye. "Dionysus..." She said, miraculously keeping her voice even. "You remember what we were speaking about regarding madness earlier?" She suddenly felt very sober. "If you'd like some real entertainment, there'll be some rather impressive madness in the city soon. Bring your best wine and find a nice place with a view." She felt tears filling her eyes, stinging at the edges of her lashes.

"Persephone," She turned to her sister and placed two drachma on the counter at her elbow. "Don't stay away from your husband too long. He loves you, and it'd be a shame to miss out on that..." Quite abruptly, Ate turned and stormed out of the bar, black and red smoke leaving footprints in her wake as her shoulder brushed that of Prometheus before she vanished through the doors.

Once outside, Ate stepped to the left and leaned against the stone wall of the bar, covering her eyes with one hand.
