Jade stirred in her slumber, she hadn't even noticed that she had fallen asleep. When she awoke, the little bird that had occupied Aeden's forehead was gone. He was still asleep, and she felt an odd urge to train. She cut a shallow wound into her finger, and placed her hand on the ground. Before the plume of smoke could even disappear, a series of clicks and grunts were sounded. A small imp, with a huge scroll on his back popped out, and hugged Jade's leg. She smiled in a motherly manner, and kneeled down, rubbing the Imp's chin lightly. The imp gave off an odd purr. She grabbed the scroll, and dismissed the imp. The scroll was a scroll that contained many more scrolls, designated for training purposes. She unraveled it to where there was Katon symbol, and placed her hand on it. In another plume of smoke, yet another scroll appeared, with the Katon symbol on it.

The next technique that interested Jade was the Fire Release: Two technique. She knew alot of the katon, without being a master just yet, and knew that this was a building block for higher techniques. Thusly, this was something she'd need to have in her bank of jutsu. The handseals were fairly simple, and Jade quickly locked into her memory. All of this was done silently, as to not stir Aeden. When it was finally time to draw upon her chakra, an odd sensation took over. The very area around them was feeding Jade chakra, which even though this technique took nigh onto none, it was still appreciated. Jade held up her slender fingers, her index and middle. The flame was fairly small, and not even white hot. She quickly ended the technique, knowing that she had learned it.

Jade scrolled down the list, looking for the next technique that remotely sounded useful. It was the Flame spread technique. With this, she'd be able to cover any weapon, for up to three feet, with flames. It'd add a burning lick to her weapon. She frowned slightly, Jade hadn't been carrying any weapons for a long time. So to make due, she grabbed a branch, and eye-measured it to just around 3 feet. Jade's hands met around the stick, and she formed the quick seals, over in a flash. Her chakra shot forth, and wrapped around the stick, igniting it into a refined fire. The stick was not harmed at all by the flames, gratefully, which meant none of her weapons would either. She ended the technique, and tossed the stick to the side.

The next technique was finally something that Jade could appreciate. It was the first technique of the Katon series that could actually pack a punch. This had her teeming with excitement. Despite her vow to renounce her old ways, and turn into a bit of a pacifist, things like this just made her remember all of the fights she'd had. She shook her head with a bit of a smirk, and focused on the technique. This would offer a much stronger flame on her hand, though only one at a time.

Jade had to now go through the most boring part of learning any technique: handseals. This part was boring because it gets hard to come up with a bunch of different material to write about, since it is simply the same thing over and over, just with different seals. Whoopie. Nonetheless, it was obviously a necessity, thus, Jade flew through the various necessary handseals for the technique, working on them to the point of which she could act like it was merely breathing.

Now, for the best part of learning techniques, creative writing! Jade flashed through the seals once more, her abundance of chakra mixing with the natural chakra of the area around her. The heated energy flowed through her body, and gathered at her right hand, simply because that was the one that she felt most comfortable with. The flames began to manifest swiftly, topping her fingers. Jade could feel the heat from here, and see where the flames were the hottest. Just for kicks, Jade located a stone, and tossed it into the air. Due to her speed, strength, and the flames topping her fingers, Jade sliced right through the stone, ending up with two nearly symmetrical sides.

Jade turned at the sound of a turning page, and observed Aeden. He was merely lying around, and reading a book, so relaxed and peaceful. "Show me something I don't know, Aeden-kun." To solidify her meaning, her sharingan spun, the blood red stealing away her golden hues. For some reason, she was hyper, and ready for 'action'
