A Normal Day in the Freed House...

Tsukiko and Yoko were young and they were cute, they had big eyes, wagging tails, and ears that rotated and moved to go along with their moods. It was because of those rather adorable features that it was often forgotten what exactly they were. The pair were in fact little hell hound pups, they had the desires that those dangerous beasts had. The felt the urge to hunt, to eat what they caught, to make trouble, and the fact that they were of the canine family caused them to suffer from pack syndrome. The pair would occasionally go from playing to suddenly glaring at each other, teeth barred, looking as though they were ready to tear each other limb from limb. Due to the shared voice only one of them at any point in time would be growling and snarling depending on the time of day the argument started and then they would go quickly down in a heap of tangled limbs as they set to wrestling for control of the 'pack'.

Nine times out of ten Yoko would end up the temporary winner, pinning down sweeter, more gentle Tsukiko to the ground. It was obvious that he was the stronger of the two, the more, as well as the one who believed that he should end up the alpha. At least he would be if it weren't for their guardian, Shin. It seemed that every time they were getting toward the end of one of their battles suddenly appear to interfere. He didn't do it lightly either, instead the man would grab them both by the scruff and give them both a toss away from each other. From there he would glare them both down with those icy colored eyes of his, then go about his day as nothing out of the ordinary had occurred. Human or not that stare of his was enough to cow even a pair of demons dogs at this point in time. It was impressive and enough that the pups were still following along at his heel, still loyal and they had yet to attack him in an attempt to try to overpower him... though they did plot from time to time, nothing came of their plots thus far. At least not against Shin.

Then there was the angel that lived with them. Unlike Shin Keiji was a different situation entirely, the blond was an angel which was their natural enemy right there with the cat demons of the world! Labeled as being 'Fallen' or not the pups seemed to find a lot of joy in teasing him, startling him, chasing him, and attempting to chew on him just due to the natural order of things. The two of them were currently waiting for that exact being to appear, hiding out under the dining room table, tail wagging wildly behind them. It didn't take to long for the oblivious blond to appear, looking as though he were deep in thought over... well whatever it was that angels thought about. Not that either of the pups cared, all that mattered to them was the fact that him being dazed like that made him an easier target.

From the direction he was heading in the pups could tell that he was heading for the kitchen, likely that he was going to try for a snack or perhaps it was time for him to start preparing what would be had for dinner? Tsukiko lifted a hand to catch hold of the sleeve of his twin's shirt, giving it a little tug as though he were trying to call off the attack. If the fallen angel was going to be making dinner wouldn't it be against their better judgment to attack now? He starred at his twin with wide orange eyes as though to try to get the idea across to him without saying a word. The silver haired hound gave him a long stare before shaking his head, "No, we are not backing down now." He murmured his adrenaline was pumping after all, his ears laid back, his tail wagging, he wouldn't stop now when he was already ready to go!

A moment later he was lunging out from under the table, arm catching hold of and entangling around Keiji's legs. There was a gasping sound from the fallen angel as well as the rapid sound of fluttering wings and flailing arms as he tried to keep himself upright. Tsukiko moved as well, while he would rather leave Keiji be so that the angel could get to work making food for the rest of the pack it seemed as though that wouldn't be allowed. He jumped, throwing his slight weight against the angel's back, that along with the other hound holding his legs together, easily toppled Keiji who landed in a heap. Luckily enough, if one could call it lucky, he was able to catch his weight on his elbows which kept him at least from cracking his face open on the wooden floor of the dining room.

There was a soft groan from Keiji, his eyes were squeezed closed, and he gulped air as he tried to keep from making any other sounds then that initial groan. Shin had told him on several occasions that showing pain only made the pups think that they had won... which was the truth he supposed but it didn't mean he liked it, his body was aching all over from the collision with the floor and a part of him wanted badly to let the tears that were prickling behind his eyes lids fall... but he did his best to keep that from happening, "Would you... you mind getting off me... mongrels..." He muttered, giving a slight kick of one leg in an attempt to get Yoko to let him go. Instead the silver haired dog gave his leg a bite which drew a cry of surprise from the angel, "Ow, ow! Let go!"

The struggle began anew, with him flailing his arms, legs, and wings in an attempt to break free of the hold the pair had on him but with no avail.

A moment later though it was over as Shin appeared from his work room, finding the two hell hound pups attempting to turn the blond bird into a chew toy. He starred, tilted his head to one side, then sighed as though he were getting a migraine, "Alright, that is enough!" He said, the tone of his voice was one that didn't give much room for argument, there was a yip from Yoko and a soft gasp from Tsukiko as they released Keiji and fled to what was a safe distance from him, out of reach of retaliation by either Shin or Keiji, or so they hoped.

The silver haired hunter sighed, walking over to Keiji and easily scooped the wounded blond up off the floor and into his arms before he carried him over to sit him down on the counter in the kitchen neck to the sink so that he could set to work tending to the bite mark he had, "Looks like their teeth are sharp as ever." He murmured, looking over to where the pups were standing. Yoko was grinning up a storm and Tsukiko seemed as though he were a little torn on how he felt at the moment, either pleased that they taken down the angel so easily and upset that they had gotten chased off by Shin again and Keiji got the affection from him. The little blond pup was a touch jealous... he wondered if it would be best to leave Keiji alone so that they had a chance at getting some of Shin's kindness for themselves. He didn't dare to suggest it as he knew that Yoko would tell him that they were hell hounds, not lap dogs and as such power should be their main concern not cuddles!

After Keiji was patched up the worst punishment possible was given to everyone in the house when Shin announced that since the angel was hurt that he would be cooking... never a good thing given the man was no chef by any stretch of imagination. Even Keiji was mourning the fact that Shin was cooking...
