The winged male made no sudden movement as the rainbow female suddenly plopped down beside him. He watched as she suddenly lost all and any desire to speak, her questions muted for the time being, and she came to . . . well . . . a sense of apathy. It didn't matter if she felt this way because of his power, her close proximity to such a beast, or if shej ust was resigning to give up by choice. . . .but here she was, and here she would stay until she chose otherwise.
For now, this was as good a place for Nemanja'janan to rest. Settling down beside Fenja, one of his great wings came to rest above her. Once again, he was alone. As soon as she embraced such a feeling, as soon as she came to rest and quiet beside him, she became nothing more than part of the scenery. No more, no less than a rock. . .the soft grasses . . .the sunlight. . .the air. She was just a thing. . . no greater or smaller than he.
Lowering his head down to his paws, the large go heaved a small breath and closed his eyes. he was in no rush. Day, night, it was all the same to him. Let the world move around him, he didn't care what the future would bring.
