 L watched the brown pony drink and noticed that Miu was feeling a little uncomfortable. He moved back close to her. He felt like everyone else has level moods, Miu needed him the most. He barely heard her speak, but froze as she asked about strangeness.
Uh, well you see. Beautiful land aside, I think the only normal one around is Evi, we are a little bit of a band of misfits here. Evi watches out for well being, and I watch out for moods. So we tend to attract people who need support.
L could feel Miu's uneasiness, he projected some good feelings on to her hoping she would relax a little.

 After having his fill of water, he threw his head back from the water, letting the droplets fly off of his mane in every direction before it flopped down against his face, leaving only a hint of brown eye to peek out at the others standing before him.
"Palaemon..is not alone? Palaemon is also cold..!"
He trotted out of the lake quickly to stand near the other, looking over the appearances of the other ponies, noticing that one was turned away from him. He blinked once before shrugging it off, letting a shiver run through him from his head to his toes, shaking off a bit more of the water.

 ..first ever visitors this far north. And yet, now there was another pony, too?
Via's attention had flickered from one pony, to the next, and back again, though her eyes for the moment settled on the newest arrival. While she didn't quite understand why he kept referring to himself in third person (pony?), she did greet him in a friendly way all the same.
Even if it made no sense as to why this pony too had been drawn to walk right into the lake. Was she the only one that thought it was chilly?!
"Palaemon, is that your name?" Her head swiveled, peering at him evenly. "Maybe Miu will share her blanket with you!"

 Miu's eyes glanced to the other pony- he seemed to be calling himself "Palaemon."
Miu was about to say something else when Via suggested she share her blanket with the new one. Her eyes locked on to the other pink pony, her expression masked by her messy mane.
Instead of sharing, she craned her neck back and pulled the blanket off of herself, snapped her head forward and tossed the blanket towards the other wet pony.
"Have it." Miu said as softly as ever. "Keep warm."
She bristled and once again lifted her eyes to L- even though he could not see it.

L felt a little unease in the way the girls were feeling about Palaemon. He tried to project more good feelings. He was quite surprised when Mui released her blanket.
Well that was very nice Miu, thank you. He shifted as close as he could to make up for the lost blanket. Listen, I think we should move to the visitors stables. Its warmer there, and I think I have pancakes. Evi didn't want to build that damn thing, but I made him!! I am so happy to have visitors here to prove him wrong!!
L was getting really excited now, and just at that moment he caught a flicker from Miu's direction. He thought to himself, I hope that was a positive emotion.
L slowly moved so Miu would move with him and the ponies would follow.

Palaemon smiled wider at the pink pony, before nodding his head once, his hair flopping against his face again heavily.
"Palaemon is my name!!" He walked over to stand in front of her, ducking his head down to touch there noses together for a moment before mumbling. "You can be a friend of Palaemon."
He stepped back quickly and turned his gaze to the pony with the bright pink mane, it was pretty, he wanted to touch it but perhaps that wasn't such a good idea at he moment, so he instead lowered his gaze to stare at the blanket that she had thrown at him. To take it or not to take it..
He leaned down to pinch the fabric between his teeth, lifting it off of the ground before wiggling his way past the pony with wings that stood so close to her, craning his head to lay the blanket over her back. "Palaemon is fine, he has thick fur. The cold doesn't bother Palaemon so much!"

Oblivious to Miu, the blanket (ignoring that it had been her own suggestion!), and even to L as well.. despite her initial interest in him, Via blinked several times in quick succession at Palaemon instead.
The touch to the end of her muzzle to her own had left her a little flushed with darker pink blush across either side of her face.
So fickle, initially being drawn to the winged pony and now.. opting to gallop forward to practically glue herself to the striped one instead!
"Of course I'll be your friend!" Happily! "Will you come with us?" Because Via could've sworn she heard L mention pancakes. Mm... pancakes..

Well thank you for your kindness Palaemon! I would hope we could all be your friend.
L lead them to an unfinished and newly built stable, there were some beds, and a common area for mingling.
Everyone is welcome to sleep here, the blue stables behind these ones are our houses. You can go back there, but Furax doesn't really like many people. Especially males. Mag is just anti-social and Char is just a handful.
L brought out some Maple pancakes, and another two blankets.
You guys might want these, it can get chilly. Like I said you are welcome anywhere. I have to go off and deal with Evi, let him know we have visitors who might be staying. Make yourselves at home ((I have to go to sleep, but thanks for coming everyone and feel free to continue. Cause mischief, and break things. Go wild XD There are personalities at my pasture if you want to know more about the ponies. Night. ))

Miu silently moved with the larger pony. Her eyes dashed about as they walked, pausing only for a heartbeat when the striped pony- Palaemon- returned the blanket to her. She bristled once again, but made no move to remove the cloth, instead welcoming its warmth for a second time.
She walked the rest of the way in further silence, only speaking up when L announced he had to make his leave. "Farewell, L." she spoke after the winged pony, her head tilted to one side.
It was warmer in here, so Miu didn't need the blanket clinging to her any longer. She shook her body, letting the blanket fall off, and nosed the pile of cloth under the table that held the pancakes, wide, curious, but hidden, eyes examining her company once more.
She was silent and took a single pancake between her teeth and crawled beneath the table, plopping herself down on the blanket she had just put there.

Surely Palaemon would follow, wouldn't he? He had to! Not only were there pancakes waiting for them, but Via was under the impression that making friends and immediately leaving was just in bad taste.
So without waiting for a reply from the striped pony, Via trotted off after L and Miu, following both of them to the stables.
She listened to his instructions and offered a bright smile in reply, but the sugary sweet smell of the pancakes he produced completely took away her want to speak.
Stepping up to the table, she dragged a pancake off of the plate with her teeth just as Miu had. But, expecting the other female to stand and eat.... watching her crouch down underneath the table caused Via to peer at her, perplexed.
"Why are you down there?" she asked quietly, pulling a bite of pancake into her mouth.

How he got there would remain a mystery, but Palaemon sat underneath the table along side Miu, several pancakes hanging from his mouth as he chewed on them slowly, mumbling.
"Palaemon thinks it is much better here then by the lake. Wouldn't you agree friends?"
Finishing the pancakes quickly, he cocked his head to the side, smiling wide at the both of them, his eyes squinting slightly while he swished his tail back and forth lazily to dry out the tuft on the end of it.

The silence engulfing Miu seemed to have no give. She seemed to be ignoring both of the other ponies while she nibbled on her pancake- she wasn't, really, she just thought her pancake was a slightly more pressing matter.
After some silence and chewing, followed by a loud swallow, Miu glanced towards Palaemon and then peered up at Via, her voice clearly confused, "My blanket is here."
She scooted a tiny bit away from Palaemon, still upset that he stayed in the water longer than she did- and he even refused the blanket and gave it back!

Miu's answer was.... oddly logical. Via couldn't exactly argue with it, so she bobbed her head in a slight nod.
Besides, with both of the other ponies now under the table, perhaps Via was the odd one out instead.
So she munched the last bits of her pancake in quiet, then pinched the end of the plate very carefully with her teeth. Dragging it down and off of the table to set it on the ground gingerly in front of Miu and Palaemon, using her muzzle to nudge it closer to them.
But she didn't crouch to eat anymore, at least not at that moment. And rather turned to step around the table, finding the other two blankets L had set out for them. Since Miu and Palaemon seemed to be sharing one blanket, Via decided she'd put both of the other two to good use. And after pushing, nudging, squishing, kicking and molding a nice, circular bed for herself on the ground in front of (but not underneath) the table, only then did she plop down.
"So what pasture are you two from?" she asked, tipping her head to one side to peer at them both.

Not really noticing when Miu moved away from him, he turned his head slightly to watch as Via molded herself a bed for the night from the other blankets.
Leaning down to quickly pick up another of the pancakes from the plate she placed in front of them, he chewed quickly so that he could answer he question.
"Palaemon doesn't know what his pasture looks like, he was on his way there when he got lost in the woods. Palaemon thought he would never get out and then he was so thirsty, that's why he jumped into the lake!" He nodded once.

Unbeknownst to the other two ponies, Miu's eyes narrowed, but she made no movement to display her slight irritation. Perhaps that was why it wasn't obvious she was irritated, but it didn't connect in her mind.
Her voice remained the perfectly calm tone it had been all along, "I am from Halcyon Fields." she didn't expect either to know where that was, but SHE knew where it was, and really that was the most important thing.
Then again, her pasture was one of the closest to Kolum's Courtyard, so it was entirely probably that they did know about it.
