Items Used: X1 Empty Lunchbox, X1 Coiled Metal Spring, X1 Pair of Socks, X1 Bleached Undergarments, X1 Rubber Band Your Character's Name: Sin Err Race/Subspecies: Demon, Succubus Do you currently own a black and orange Scrag clickable? No *scritch, scritch, scritch* *scratch, scritch, scratch* *scritchy, scritchy, scritchy*
Arrrrgg! Sin bolted upright in bed and ripped the black web blindfold off her face to glare into the darkest corners of her room. Those bloody scrags were all over the place and making so much noise she couldn't rest in peace. Snarling she stalked out of bed tossing on a sheer web robe and crouching in the corner just in time to see a strange skeletal scrag running off through some tiny hole. Cursing she sat up and banged the wall furious when the sound of chittering scampering scrags answered. Well that was it, that was the last straw!
She walked with purpose her eyes narrowed in determination as she moved down to the Lost and Found. She intended to pilfer some items from the box and create a trap. When she caught a scrag she'd be happy, at least until morning when she could build a nice little scrag guillotine to use on the rodents. Eagerly she knelt in front of the box and rifled through it tossing aside items and stopping to consider others. She held up a spring and eyed it, yes...scrag sized. She set aside the spring and continued to sift through the items. Aha! She grinned and pulled out a lunchbox, yes that would do nicely. She snatched up a bleached white bra and eyed it wondering who would wear such a thing. Well no one would be wearing it now, she tossed it in her pile as well as a sock and a rubber band. Perfect...yes perfect she could see the trap in her mind eye and smirking she quickly tossed the items into the lunchbox and headed back to her room.
Setting the box down on her desk Sin slipped into her seat and grabbed the bra. Ripping the bra open and tugging out the underwire was a simple enough task. She nodded at the curved wire and grabbed her items moving to the floor and getting down on her knees to the space under her bed. She quickly pulled her rug aside to expose the creaky wooden floorboards. She grabbed the sock and pulled it half over the spring poking the sharp edge of the spring out of the toe of the sock. Nodding she opened the lunchbox and forced the top of the spring through the hinges testing to make sure it would still close. With that done she moved the lunchbox under her bed to stand like a teepee the spring hanging down from the center. Quickly she grabbed the underwire from the bra and shoved both ends down through the slats in the wood banging and twisting them with force to make sure they were stuck in there. She gave the arched wire a little tug and nodded when it didn't come loose.
Now for the tricky part, she grabbed the end of the hanging spring and carefully started to pull it down. Slowly the spring uncoiled and widened, but the pull Sin felt told her it would spring back strong and hard once it was released. Quickly she grabbed the rubberband and looped it through the bra underwire and then snapped the end onto the spring end leaving the spring stretched taught between the floor and the top of the lunchbox. She slowly let go and nodded as everything remained in place, she stood and smirked heading to get a piece of cheese. Once the scrag tried to climb up into the spring to get the cheese it's little paws would wiggle the wire. The rubberband would snap startling the scrag up. The spring would snap up coiling suddenly tight around the scrag like a boa constrictor. The sock would fall down over the spring and trapped scrag leaving it smothered. The lunchbox would topple over and shut with the scrags struggles and sudden spring movement. The helpless little creature would be effectively caught, in the spring, the sock, and the lunchbox...plus the noise of the trap going off would be an effective alarm.
"That'll teach them to disturb MY beauty rest." She huffed and brushed off her hands with a pleased smirk.Edit: Trap Visual Wasn't sure if an edit/image was allowed, if not then disregard.

Items Used: x1 pair of undergarments; x1 stick; x1 shoe box; x1 potted plant Your Character's Name: Zeke Race/Subspecie: Monster: Cactus Cat Do you currently own a black and orange Scrag clickable? No Despite technically being feline, Zeke didn't actually mind the scrags running about, but they seemed to be disturbing the majority of the student body, and that just wouldn't do. All he had been hearing lately was Scrag this and Scrag that. Enough was enough. How was he to get information out of people if that was all they talked about. So, he needed a mousetrap. It was a pity that there was currently a ban on cheese, because that would have made the perfect bait, but he did have a packet of jelly and that would have to do instead. Now he just had to find something to make it out of. He gathered the ingredients together, snagged from the lost and found box while no one was looking. He took a pair of undergarments, a stick, a shoe box and a potted plant. Well, alright, the potted plant wasn't actually for the trap, but Zeke thought that it would look nice on his desk. He took all of the things he had found back to his room, and sat down on the floor to create. Is it a mouse house? Or a mouse trap? What came out, was the strangest sort of thing that Zeke had ever created, though he wasn't sure if it was a mouse house, or a mouse trap. He shrugged. Did it really matter? These were really smart creatures, and he thought that perhaps they would only be caught if they wanted to be. He grabbed the pack of jelly, still closed, and then moved the object over towards the wall he knew had a mouse hole in it. He opened the jelly pack and sat it in the inside of the housetrap. If it was going to work, there wasn't much he could do, but wait, and see if he lured a scrag out.

Items Used: x1 Empty Lunchbox, x1 Stick, x2 Dry Chalk Erasers, x1 Bleached Undergarment, x2 Buttons Your Character's Name: Akiyo Hitsugaya Race/Subspecie: Demon/yuki-onna Do you currently own a black and orange Scrag clickable? No
The yuki-onna narrowed her eyes in sleep-deprived irritation, finally deciding it had to stop. She'd been up for at least three days without sleep-and no matter what anyone thought, or how little the signs of tiredness were; going three or four days without sleep did a lot to anyone who actually needed to sleep.
So she schemed; deciding the lost-and-found box was as much stuff as she could ever use in a trap. Monster's lunchbox, stick, chalky erasers, buttons covered in peanut butter, bleached...wait. Akiyo wrinkled her nose in disgust. The smell of bleach was still blatantly noticeable on the scanty undergarments-who wore pasties and a thong, anyway?! She could use it; the mice should smell it. Who knew if the little demons in disguise liked bleach...
And quickly; she opened the lunchbox, leaving it in the hallway. Then the undergarments were placed inside, and the stick propped the thing open. So Akiyo proceeded to place the buttons on a chalky trail from the erasers, then left to bed: a trail for the mice...and they would be trapped in the lunchbox!

Items Used: 1x jacket, 1x Deck of Cards, 3x Pens, 1x Empty Lunchbox, 1x anti-charm bracelet, 1x Coiled Metal Spring, 1x Chalk Eraser, 3x Skull Beaded Necklaces, 1x Potted Plant Your Character's Name: Belladonna Divine Race/Subspecie: Reaper/ Witch Do you currently own a black and orange Scrag clickable? No!
Staring at the box of potential supplies did not really temper Belladonna's want to just pilfer what she wanted. Sure, she needed to see if she could catch a rat or two just to ease the noise (and maybe find a new friend!) but really, there were so many things she could do with those skull bead necklaces! And just look at that poor plant, it probably hadn't been watered in days. But really and truly, she needed to catch a rat before she played "Make Found Of The Lost". Having been squatting before the box for a few minutes, weighing the options of her want, she finally plopped herself down to begin sorting through the objects. There were a number of objects and a number of solutions came to her mind, but they all seemed to have a massive fault. Yet no matter how many circles her mind ran in, there would always be the possibility of failure. But its not like she hadn't failed before, so why not take a chance? Sitting up on her knees to have better access to the objects within, Belladonna first grabbed one of the jackets to make carrying the rest of her objects a bit easier. Next she picked up the deck of cards, 3 pens, the empty lunchbox, a chalk eraser, the bracelet and the coiled metal spring. After a few more moments of thinking, she also snatched up the skull bead necklace, placing it around her neck and then placed the potted plant under her arm. The march to her room was short, thus giving her more time to carefully set up her soon to be trap. Though... Maybe it was best to refer to it as a "Rat Relocation Device". Yes, that sounded much nicer and gave the hint that these rats would have a much better time living with her, then scratching around in the walls. "Go Team Me!" She shouted to herself (and maybe the sleeping Binx who would have proved a formidable rat catcher on his own had he not been currently busying himself with the task of sleeping) and began setting her trap into motion. Under her desk there seemed to be a little hole that the rats had obviously made (and darn it all if she didn't have any cheese to lure them with!) so she pushed the chair away and began construction there. First she set the spring coil against the farthest part of the desk where it would give ample room for the rest of her trap, erm, relocation device. Secondly she placed the lunch box at just such at angle that when triggered properly, it would lurch forward with the lids open wide and acting as terrifying metal jaw, and snap close after it had caught said rat. Thirdly she took the pens, setting them up before the lunch box, but a good distance away so that they would not interfere with the hungry looking lunch box. She expertly wrapped one end of the bracelet around one pen, connecting it to the chalk eraser by a taut line. The chalk eraser was placed precariously close to the metal spring, so that if the eraser were to fall it would hit the spring and make the lunch box jump forward, metal maw at the ready. Finally, and because this was the most important step, Belladonna carefully constructed a house of cards next to the standing pens, making it just tall enough so that the force of its fall would knock the pens over, therefore knocking the eraser, which would lead to the spring springing and the lunch box lurching forward. As an enticing incentive for the rats, she plucked a few leaves off the potted plant (after telling it she was very sorry and would give it some water right away!) and scattered them around the house of cards. Now the scene was perfect and all she had to do was wait! Admiring her work for a moment, Belladonna sighed with contentment, thinking of the new friends she would soon acquire and how she'd work those skull necklaces into her wardrobe. It wouldn't be all that hard, and that jacket was rather cute... The night had gotten a little chill, so she quickly put on the jacket, gave the plant that was now perched on her windowsill a quick sip of water and dove into her bed, touching the beaded necklace much like one might a rosary, though Belladonna was thinking of all the fun she and her new rat friends would have!

Items Used: skull bead necklace, Rubber bands, chair Your Character's Name: Igneous (questing) Race/Subspecie: monster/gargoyle Do you currently own a black and orange Scrag clickable? no
"chirrp, chirp, chirrup!" "What is it Chip? I am trying to study here - all this homework is starting to pile up! Who knew there was so much to learn?" Igneous looked over at her erstwhile companion. The small pigeon was sitting on his perch staring forlornly at his food dish. It was empty, with only a few scattered seeds to show that there has ever been anything in it. "By the gods! That mouse has been at your dinner again! Why didn't you say something?" Chip just gave her an exasperated look - what did she think he had been trying to do just then!? He loved his stony friend but she just wasn't quick on the uptake most of the time. "There has to be a way to stop them from taking your food - let's go see what we can find!" A quick walk (or flight, in Chip's case) brought them to the Lost & Found box at the end of the hall. "Hmmmm... we can use this! And maybe that! But I can't think of a thing to do with those!" With a laugh she put the unmentionables back in the box. Back in her room it was just the work of a few moments to put her plan in action. A thwack of her hand reduced the chair she had found to kindling, and a few bites broke the rubber bands. Soon a veritable forest of sharp sticks stuck up from the floor at the base of the perch where Chip had his shelf and a rattling mobile of beads on stretchy rubber strings hung above it. "There! Now if they try to climb they will poke their little feets and if they do make it up they will bang their heads on the skulls! Dinner is saved!" With a nod to herself and a quick scratch for her feathered friend, Igneous went back to her studies. After all, there was a lot to learn if she wanted to fit in the living world!

exclaim Event Results! exclaim The scrags came, and they were trapped in all sorts of diabolical things students and citizens and what-have-you's of Halloweentown were able to dream up. Some caused property damage, others gave new respect to the mundane school supplies. Granted, there was a casualty in the attack: the capitalized version of the 13th letter of the alphabet. A mischievous scrag was able to swap it out with the lower-case version -- just capitalize it and the key will work. There was peace once again in Halloweentown -- the student dorms were quiet of the skittering paws (unless they happened to own one or a ton of minipets), the classrooms were quiet, the hallways free of poo... And yet. Yet it wasn't the end. Nobody knows for sure who or when the call for reinforcements arrived, nor did anyone know how they managed to come about. All everyone knows is that they're back, and no clever trap would be able to stop them. That is, of course, unless you were armed with cheese. It just so happened that Amityville academy found a rather questionable supply of it in a labratory. It didn't matter that the laboratory belonged to a Reaper who is now MIA and didn't leave much in terms of notes behind. Cheese is cheese, after all.
