[+Uchiha-Itachi+] sweatdrop I sware that I posted last night...man I must be forgetting and making it up XD
I considered cosplaying as Itachi once..but alas I'm no where near as pretty as him XD I'm getting the Akatsuki coat and Itachi's ring veryvery soon^^
I cant think of whom I could pull off...If I had my blonde hair I'd do Naruto..but Its gonna be years till my hair grows out to its true color.
(And thats even if I'm able to let it get past a few inches of my roots showing before I dye it black again.)
XD NO ONE is as pretty as Itachi. crying We just try our best.

everybodyLOOSEY My Rii insists that I go alongside her this summer as Itachi, even though I'm teeny-weeny and will be shorter than my Sasuneko. sweatdrop I'm too poor/cheap to get colored contacts, because I need perscription lenses, so.... >.< I was going to be Genma, which I think is a better choice for me, but the Rii insists! gonk I'm getting a blond wig this year so I can do some Bleach cosplay. I can make the Kira face, woo! >w< I need prescription lenses, too, so it was either get non-prescription red ones and be just as blind as... well... Itachi, or find some prescription ones. I did find a site that has red lenses available with prescriptions, and they're thirty dollars. I have not yet figured out if that's thirty dollars per contact, or thirty dollars a pair, though. Anyway, if you want the link, I can give it to you.

I plan on cosplaying as Kabuto and Tsunade.
(I would be able to pull of Tsunade really well, so I'm excited. ~^-^~ )
Kabuto is going to be a little hard, but I wanna try it.
(I am in no way manley looking. I look like an hour glass. -_-;; )

Pinumbra Chieira Yeah, same here. I don't want to do a cosplay if it's not going to be a good cosplay. So I mostly go for characters with long black hair (like Envy last year, and I considered doing Karasu from YYH). Of course, you can get wigs or hair dye for hair color, but I'd rather not do that. yeah, but wigs just don't look natural I'm a perfectionist xp And Karasu? ho yeah! You could do it eek but I doubt that the people will recognise him they're too obsessed with Naruto or FMA stressed

Chieira I cosplayed Envy at Otakon last year and am going to cosplay ANBU Itachi at Otakon this year. I've already ordered the costume (too horrible at sewing to make my own). Here's a pic of me:  (XD That's actually my driver's license picture, a friend of mine made it into an icon). I've got the long black hair, so I figure, what the heck? My GF's going as Sasuke, so it should be cute. But anyway, judging from the pic, good move to be Itachi? Bad? Would I do better as someone else? I wasn't a hundred percent sure about going as Itachi. Where are you ordering your costume from?

Can be a bit expensive, though. My Envy costume was... $125, I think, and my Itachi ANBU costume is going to be $225.

Last year was my first time cosplaying, and I was really nervous, but it was a lot of fun! Last year I got the money to make the trip to Otakon and to get my costume from birthday and Christmas money, and from cleaning my uncle's house every month. I still don't have a job, and cleaning my uncle's house is no longer and option since I don't live at home anymore, but I'll get the money somehow. I already have enough for the costume, now I've just got to worry about my plane ticket. Are you going to cosplay at a con? If so, which one?

And yeah, Otakon is always really exciting. Frankly, it exhausts me. But yeah, I look forward to it all year. And yeah, it's really hard to find a job. I've been looking all over, and I still can't find one. Even Sonic wouldn't hire me. Of course, I'm in a small Southern town, and I'm that scary girl with the black hair and the tattoos. *sigh*
