Not bad for a first Guild, but I believe it could use a little more structure. I've personally owned two guilds which my first was very successful and still is and I've been Vice Captain in many others. But it's a good guild. Just needs some more work.

Umm, just my little thing here, but perhaps a larger variety of roleplays could be put up? I do generally prefer M/s or fantasy, so it makes me kind of sad that there is nothing there for those...

Auelia, feel free to put create some M/s RP in the cockpit...perhaps theres a dungeon in the basement of the place? As far as fantasy goes, I'm not the best at it which is probably why I've neglected to create a place for that sort of plot. I'd be more than happy to create a sub forum for you, but I'll need help with what type of location/plot you'd want it to be based in. (Literally, I'm clueless. Are we talking forest? An entirely new world like something in a Tolkien novel?)

I'm sorry I was so late in getting to this, but I did create a new subforum for Fantasy type RP. I just gave it a nonsense name for now. Feel free to get going on all sorts of topics and plots (like I said, I'm not the best when it comes to fantasy...)

So truly, the guild is dying a slow and painful death already. So...help! please! What can I do to excite our members, get them actively roleplaying...etc? What opportunities are missing. How can the role play be more engaging? Whit is our guild missing that the others have?

Try having a subforum where people can just create roleplays, or try inviting more members since if you think of it, this guild is currently limiting creative just a bit. So my suggestion is just have one main RP subforum and invite a few more people so creative juices can get flowing.

Well the main purpose of this guild is to not admit just anyone and there is a fantasy forum and a 1X1 forum...

I understand that, but it wouldn't hurt to bring in a couple outsiders, ya know, fresh perspective and ideas. And I never last long in one on ones because I usually get stuck with people who'll only post a few pages and then disappear and its rather irritating at times, and the fantasy forum is nice, but it wouldn't hurt to have a subforum that holds many genres of RPs. Especially for someone like me who is constantly thinking up things on a spurr of the moment and I just can't find anywhere to place it here.

Here's my thing with creating a subforum for random RPs. I understand the want for it, I do. I was just hoping that people would create their own RPs as subplots to our 3 existing worlds. For example:
Want one of those corporate workplace RPs? Create an office or corporation in The Cockpit forum and perhaps have one of the workers outed when he's discovered at the club.
Want a family-based roleplay? Create a home in any one of the three forums and allow your characters to interact with the others in the environment.
Medical RP? Perhaps theres a hospital wing in the Rowensbrook School? Or a hospital close by to the Cockpit who sees patients both from the club and the outside.
Master/Slave? Some entrepreneuring member has created a slave market that takes place in the dungeonesque basement of the Cockpit club.
If you have an RP that simply cannot exist in one of our worlds, feel free to place it in the 1x1 forum even if it calls for more players.
But I don't want to create too many subforums because I believe the all over RP suffers when it is divided too many times. And that it can thrive on overlapping and intertwined plots as they allow for more complex RP.
But, like I said, this is as much your guild as it is ours. If this solution is unsatisfactory to you and the others, I will of course create the subforum you requested.
As for inviting more members. Keep the nominations coming. So far I believe I've caught up on all the ones that have been given out.
There have been a few join requests but those not nominated by existing members are required to provide a sample and several of these requesters have failed to do so. Honestly, if they are unwilling to read the Guild homepage, I question their true literacy and commitment to our mission of literate in-depth Yaoi RP.
So: if you know someone who has requested and has not been accepted, make sure you remind them to include a sample. And, if you know of someone who would be an asset to our guild please nominate them!
