Kiisho swung his legs haphazardly off of the desk in front of him and stood with a light jump, brushing some dust off of his hakama as he did so. He was grateful that his newest squad member had not known him before, as that would prevent questions about his changed appearance, as well as his general shift from one person into someone who felt like a completely separate entity. He absently brushed a hand through his much-shorter hair, and drifted for a moment, remembering the days when his head felt somewhat hotter and heavier. After a moment, he lowered his hand, and his eyes, glaring across the room at the sqaudling.
"Just make certain that it does not become a regular occurrence. I would hate to have to crush you. Good help is becoming so hard to come by.." He turned on his heel, and walked briskly to a table that was presumably empty, motioning for Ryuk to follow. "Are you prepared for the day's work?" It was a redundant question, as anything less than 'yes sir', would result in a very brutal punishment.

A little scary, if you were to ask Ryuk of his first impression of his new captain. By all means, it was Ryuk's fault for being late, but still, the vibe he was getting from Kiisho told him to stay out of his swords reach, if at all possible. "Yes sir." It was all he could respond with, given the man's demeanor. Hell, Ryuk doubted he would really be able to act himself unless he got to know the captain better. Still, it was time to get to work. It was why he was there. "We're using materials resistant to reiatsu correct?" Letting his eyes wander about the room, Ryuk had yet to successfully determine which material they were going to be using to create the new uniforms. By all means, as long as it meant he was going to be in less danger while he was studying his experiments, Ryuk could care less if they were radioactively unstable.

Kiisho turned abruptly on his heel upon reaching the table, laying a hand down on a pile of stark white fabric that had been constructed, and infused with kidou, earlier.
"This is the material we will be working with. Or rather, YOU will be working with. I will be supervising the construction and making certain you do not ******** it up. Just to be on the safe side. Consider this your induction into Squad Twelve." He smiled darkly, and pointed at a pile of white thread, and a pattern. "That is what you will be working with. Now hop to it."

Pattern
The new uniform is ankle-length, and white, styled after a lab coat, but with a closed front and high, stiff neck that comes within an inch of the chin, with the fasteners on the left side. The outfits are sleeveless, and are accompanied by black obi (sash).

((Take about two or three posts to make them, then I will finish with the kidou bits.))

Sashaying her way down the long hallways, Aine was, as always, plugged into her headphones and swaying slightly with each step. Although low, her voice was smooth and tonal with each high note and falling low note. Now, why exactly Aine had decided it would be fun to run around the Twelfth Division, she hadn't really a clue... But, she had promised An-ei that she would walk with him today, and as such, the typically sulking spirit strode at her side, dwarfing her in comparison.

"Is there any particular reason you're all but dancing in this maze of a place, Kurodori?" For once, his voice wasn't conceded or condescending, simply inquiring.

"Cause I can," she swiftly replied, turning a corner and stopping. "N' I spy n'other Captain." Continuing her parade forward, her steps were silent but her singing was not, and her progression ended with her looking directly over the white haired man's shoulder.

Kiisho found himself sitting alone at his desk, the rest of his squad had somehow vanished from memory. He had personally finished the new uniforms some time ago, but they remained static on a nearby desk, unused. It came as no surprise then, that his ears perked up at the sound of footsteps and singing. He remained in place, although his senses pinpointed the girl, for it was a girl, rounding the next corner. She was small, but not overly so.. more like a child than anything else, but she also bore a distinctly un-childlike nature to her mannerisms. Not only that, but she was accompanied by a much larger, and darker, spiritual entity. Judging by the feel, it was a zanpakutou, but it was not sealed, or released, it felt like somewhere in between.. as if the spirit itself had manifested.. fascinating.
Kiisho gently pushed off of his desk, sliding his chair across the floor, creating a light scraping noise, and standing fluidly. his hair rippling ever-so-slightly as he did. It was then he noticed that the girl was standing directly behind him, a most impressive feat.. he must have become distracted by his musings on the shadowy entity that accompanied her. Turning on his heel, he stared down into her bright green eyes, his own blue eyes twinkling with curiosity.
"My my my.. what do we have here?" His voice, as per the norm, held little emotion, but great expression, betraying his evident fascination and interest.
His eyes wandered to the shadow-man, scanning it up and down, and he raised his right hand to his chin, stroking it absently.
"Is that a zanpakutou spirit? But how does it manage to manifest outside of your sealed state? Is this some subset of your abilities?"

Staring straight at the chest in front of her, it wasn't until An-ei's brilliantly white hands had possessively pulled her back against him that she actually got a good look at the Captain in front of her. Absently tweaking one of her spirits fingers backwards to get him to lessen his grip. "Nah, not my abilities. An-ei's a anomaly if there ever was one." Instantly the grip she'd gotten him to let up on tightened even more with Aine shortly finding his dark arms wrapped tightly about her shoulders. What came next wasn't unusual for him, a low his followed by a ruffling of his outline...she called it fluffing, he called it bristling...to each their own.

"Damnit, Kuraiei get off me." Pushing with one arm, it would apprear that she'd pushed the spirit backwards, while the truth remained as inwardly spoken threat had him putting space between the two of them. Finally free of the shadowy cling-on, Aine pulled her headphones away and offered a nodding bow. "Name's Kirihara, Aine, n' that's," she thrust her thumb backwards at the spirit, "is An-ei and or Kuraiei. He's not great around men, a bit touchy about them get'n to close ta me... N' you must be...Kiisho?"

Kiisho frowned lightly, tilting his head to the side while he watched the interactions between the girl and her 'colleague'. They were certainly an interesting pair.. interesting enough that he was willing to overlook the slight in his title, although not so much that he would not correct it.
"Hayashi-taichou." He held up a finger to acknowledge the mistake. "We mustn't forget how to properly address a Captain, Kirihara Aine." He did his best to smile warmly. "But yes, my given name is Kiisho." He nodded, then turned his eyes back An-ei. "Your companion is certainly an interesting anomaly.. were he not so closely tied to the life of a shinigami, I might be tempted to experiment on him. It's not every day that one encounters a fully manifested zanpakutou..." He trailed off, still stroking his chin. "But I digress. What brings you two here, business, or boredom?"

"Bordom, Kiisho," exaggerating the vowels in his name, Aine gave a defiant smirk as her zanpakutou crept closer to her once more. "I literally have noth'in ta do, no train'in, no train'in others n' no Captain to constantly bother as of late. Thought I might go n' have An-ei give me my Bankai, but...I was to lazy ta do it ta day." Finished speaking she turned on her heels, squarely giving the dark spirit a vehement look that said to not cause trouble or she'd shank him later.

"What, I wouldn't..." Trailing off, An-ei's amethyst eyes fell to the side, his pouting look a testament to Aine's effects on him. Still, he wouldn't stand there and be good without contact as his hand snaked it's way back to one of her shoulders.

A chuckle escaped Kiisho's lips at the girl's indignant mannerisms. Sure, she was slightly offensive, but he liked that. The devil-may-care attitude tended to help things, especially where his own personality was concerned. Perhaps he wouldn't lay them out on a table to be studied more in depth.
"Boredom is as boredom does, Aine." He retorted, his eyes twinkling mischievously, "Although my boredom often leads me to doing things that the other Captain's frown upon... I mean seriously.. you accidentally hurt one little tiny shinigami, and they flip their lids. It's not like there are any shortage of the whelps lying around, and that was important research.." He trailed off again, muttering several incomprehensible things to himself before turning back to Aine. "Now then, my indignant little friend. What might I be able to do to ease your boredom, since disecting you is out of the question, and I doubt you'd like me poke at your little friend there."

"First off, stop mumbling like a freak." Again she pushed An-ei's hand off of her shoulder, "Second, no you can't dissect me or my zanpakutou, because we'd both fight back, and finally...I have no idea what you could do ta cure my boredom..." Turning her head to peek at An-ei, a devilish grim spread across her lips. He'd given her enough trouble as of late, now was as good as any to get even. "...But," she started in sing-song, "An-ei here's a little different ta be sure, see...he's actually an entirely diffenerent entity from me." Placing her hand near her mouth, she feinted whispering while looking back at the spirit. "He could up'n leave and I'd never have'a zanpakutou again. He's just so in love with me, he can't leave."

Apparently Aine got the reaction she was looking for, because An-ei nearly jumped out of his no existent skin, paled beyond what was possible and dissipated all in the span of five seconds. Chuckling in conquest, she looked back to Kiisho, her look both smug and pleased. "He's also deathly afraid of me too...ha, makes no sense really."

Kiisho all but giggled at her latest little disrespect, although this one was more severe, it held equal amounts of amusement. "Silly girl.. if I truly wanted to dissect you and the dark one, you would not leave this room. No matter how much you tried." He winked, half joking in his comment. "Now, as far as our boredom is concerned.. I will start by explaining where you are, as that would help things." He gestured wide, indicating the entire structure, and triggering several lights, which flashed on brightly. "This is the lowest laboratory, Lab C. Here is where we work on the simple things, without specialization. The large energy cell in the center of the room provides power for my experiments, and the smaller cells provide a cyclic power system for the rest of the building. Following me so far?"

"N' you would'a found my converse boot in your rectum..." she replied, a matching smile accompanying Kiisho's. Now, finally with something to do, her eyes followed each gesture, and payed close attention to each explanation. Really, it wasn't all that interesting, labs weren't Aine's most preferred destinations, but it seemed fate sped her feet towards the freakish place. "Follow, not a problem. I'm not slow by any means. Got somethin more challeng'in up those black sleeves there or not?" Looking about the lab with detached interest, she absently pulled down the her hood, revealing the cut of her hair as short, so unlike the long locks at the front of her head.

Kiisho chuckled, a bit louder this time, and turned to Aine, lowering his hand in the process.
"This lab represents a key portion of my research, and a very large portion of the Seireitei's technology. My sleeves hold many secrets, but I'm afraid the majority of them must remain just that, secrets. Besides, I know literally nothing about you besides the fact that you are a cheeky little one, with a nack for self-confidence. So maybe it's your turn to share."

"Ya sure you wanna know 'bout me?" Aine chided, her voice rising in pitch to match the playful attitude. "Cause, it might get me killed if I do..." Trailing off, she strode a few feet away, plopping onto a small stool nearby and tucking her feet onto the lower rungs. "Ya see, I used'ta be a part of the Tenth Division...well, I should say that I was forced into the Tenth Division, wasn't really my cup of tea if you will. But, then I defected, ran off to Hueco Mundo n' had a grand adventure, ended up in the Living World later and then got bored. So, now I'm back here under First Division protection, and that of my own."

Finished with her story, her head tilted to the side with a wide grin. "See, I'm not that interesting."

Kiisho took a position against a desk, crossing his arms over his chest, and resting his chin in his right palm.
"So.. you are a defect come home? You would think that the second division would have something to say about that. Although I do suppose that if you are under the protection of the Sou-taichou, that would indeed allow you to move about without hindrance." His face split into a smile, becoming more interested in the girl. "I wouldn't say you aren't interesting. You're fascinating. You seem to defy the laws that surround this society, and yet still you exist, without being compromised. Not only that, your zanpakutou is somehow able to move about freely.. most fascinating." He paused, thinking for a moment. "Tell me, Aine. What is Hueco Mundo like, in terms of reishi and reiatsu condensation, and presence? Is the air there rich, or weak like most of the living world?"
