"Only when I think about it." Rika admitted. Rika gave a small bow back. Straitening, she flipped through the songs on the DDR. She found one she liked, ajusted her settings and hit start as she settled her feet. She had put her staff of to the side.

*He tosses his jacket to the side, onto a chair, and smirks, stepping into place.* I havn't played this in awhile... *he says, slouching over.*

"This is probably the only game in this arcade I can beat you at then." Rika said, giving an innocent, somehow evil, smile. The music started and the arrows rolled up the screen. Rika soon fell into the rythem(sp?) and was moving in time.

*He smirks, and he started out like any normal DDR player.* Well, I forgot to mention I play freestyle... *With that, he begins dancing as if he were breaking, using his hands almost as often as his feet.*

Rika cast him a sidelong glance, keeping one eye on the screen. "Hm...!" Rika turns back to face the screen. There was a pause in the contstant roll of arrows over the screen and Rika spun, kicking out, like one of her fighting moves. She landed on the arrow that was at the top of the screen. She from then on added more spring to her dance steps.
A small crowd of arcaders was gathering.

*He snickers, and begins to got into more advanced manuevers, eventually going into a one-handed hand-stand on one particualarly long freeze arrow. the crowd begins to cheer.*

Rika kept up her normal pace a while longer. She had a particuarly hard freeze coming, three consecuative arrows held together. Rika stomped the first two, but to hit the third she bent backwards, to hold the last in a bridge. Some of the people near her blinked, shocked. She was limber.
To get up from the hold, Rika tumbled back ward over her hand. She landed, hitting the double arrows, top and bottem. The arrows were speeding up.

*As the arrows speed up, he goes into a flare, and then into a six-step. a few people come up, video-taping this match. He was almost distracted by some of the people, but refocused on the game, he currently had a full-combo.*

Rika went, steady. Acasionally she would add a spin, jump or kick. But she was saving her best move for last. She had multiple combos, but miss-stepped purposly as the end neared.
Rika saw the long, end freeze at the bottem of the screen and froze, waiting for it. Right before it came, she back flipped and spun around one revolution, and almost a second. She landed on the freeze easily, only panting minimly.
"Heh, long legs do come in handy." Rika pushed her hair out of her face, it had fallen to cover her red eyes when she was playing.

*Akiro also goes in for his best move, a windmill into a headstand, stopping on the freeze arrow.* Heh...you're even good at games...You're amazing. *he says with a dash of sarcasm. as the screen went black, he hopped to his feet, his body covered with sweat. the crowd was roaring for the two, and as he picked up his jacket, he noticed the time.* Hmm..looks like we missed a period...Maybe we should head back?

Rika laughed. "I'm no good at games, I just like this one." She explained, covering her mouth with a hand. Her eyes danced.
Rika flushed and gave a small bow to their newly acquired fans. "Heh, seems you're pretty good as well." Rika said, casting him a sidelong glance.
Rika looked up at the clock and swore. "Curses! Gotta run!" She snached up her staff and ran.

Touya entered a big building and it suddenly became dark... dark lights clutter the posts and a few dim ambient ones on tactically placed locations.
He wandered around and stayed much in the video games section.
"Hmm... coulda use some play time myself...", Touya said and watched as gamers beat each other's heart out.
He then stopped at seeing a gigantic machine... much - much bigger than a megalo-500 dual, the hoster of a good DDR game capable of 4 players. This one, is like a room iin itself.
"FEKKEN Free-D..., what a wierd name", Touya thought as he went in and thought of it as one of those 3d movie-thingie gigs they put up.
After entering the room, the doors suddenly closed up and the rooom started to light up a grassy hilltop, an low-pitched announcer's voice was heard, "SHUN TOUYA VERSUS..."
Touya had stumbled into the game itself.
Outside the game room, a child was seen crying - he had put on his token only for another to play in what-supposed-to-be the child's place.
Touya laid a bored attitude as he realize what just had happened, "Yare-yare..."

The new student hesitated.. Her vivid blue eyes shifted about the city before opening the door. The door, which had a bell attached to the top announced her prescience.. The girl winced peering about the room cautiously to see if she had caught an eye. "..I knew I should of waited until school.." She murmured to herself, trying not to rush into meeting new people. She shifted about the room, faltering within her first few steps but she made it to a pinball machine.. She stuck a hand her pocket then slipped a few quarters into the machine.
Pinball, being her favorite game to play was quite fun. There were many different styles or themes to the pinball machines back home but nothing like this one. This particular one was Fruits Basket themed which made it even more entertaining. Fruits basket was her favorite series, and seeing her favorite character ( Hatsuharu, or the cow ) made her squeal softly. It wasn't until she had lost her last ball that she pouted some.. She shifted her weight upon each foot, giving her the appearance of bouncing while searching for more quarters in her pocket.
