"I think I shall stay in the forest the remainder of the day," Nastiras replied, inclining her head to look at the mountains peeking out from above the canopy. She paused, wondering if she would get any leads on her missing sister on higher ground. She resisted the urge to sigh and instead, turned her attention back to Mera, offering her a small smile, "Food is scarce on the slopes, after all... It would benefit me to eat a filling meal and get a good night's rest before attempting to scale the mountains."
She then paused, her smile growing a little as she continued, "Maybe you could show me where I can get some energy food in preparation for the trip, Miss Merashik? I would appreciate that."

"Sure thing." She smiled and turned to head another direction. "This way, there's a lovely spot over here that has berries, fruit and other such things." She picked up her gait to a trot and ducked under a branch. "They say there are some areas you can find a golden looking grass.. I think I heard father call it wheat... I'm not sure though..." She turned her head some to look at the other and nodded for her to follow before walking behind some trees.

"Thank you - you've really been a great help," Nastiras nodded with a small smile; it can be difficult to travel alone, but at least she had met several welcoming Soquili in this land. Following the younger mare closely, she chuckled softly at the thought of golden grass growing on a hill, wondering if Mera's father was pulling her leg. She then paused, ducking under a low branch; still, she had seen several unbelievable sights in her travels... Golden grass might not be that strange after all.
"That is something I had yet to encounter... A golden grass called wheat?" She paused again, musing out loud, "Perhaps it is a grass grown by humans for food? It might explain why I had not seen any growing in the wild as of yet."

She nodded her head. "Yup wheat... I've yet to see any myself yet... then again if it is as you say, grown by the two-leggers for food then it may just be closer to them.. I've not been curious of them enough to get that close to their village... I prefer to stick closer to my father.... For the time being at least..." She wondered though... Did the humans grow wheat for food?? She'd seen an area where something her father called Maiz grew.. She'd managed to even take a sample once... it wasn't really good idea of something really yummy so she never returned to that spot.
