The HQ of the Public Security Section was probably one of the safest places during the tremor. The structure of the building had enough resistance as it should also protect those who worked there. In order to protect Iwa from internal threats, they also needed to protect themselves from any danger they would face. Earthquakes were not exceptions. Only a few small fissures could be found in the whole building, the shinobi who worked there knew they would be safe for now so they didn't panic nor left the building.

Kai and the family pushed through the crowd into the builden and sat the boy down on a table and her bag. The mother did the same. Kai wasen't a medic so she couldn't help the boy's leg. A nurse ran up to the boy and started to help him without even asking. How rude but oh well. When the nurse finished she had put the boy's leg in a splinter type of cast till he could get to the hospitalf or a real cast. Kai opened her bag and took out a piece of candy, giving it to the boy. "Don't worry, your safe here." She smiled at the boy and mother. She handed the mother and son some more food that would last them then procceded to hand it to other family's with kids and the eldery and orphans.[2/3] She left herself some candy cause it wasen't healthly for people to eat. She handed out some water bottles to the poor and dyhrated people. Kai drank one water bottle and strapped on her little bag filled with scrolls and some food for herself. And a medical kit just in case. Kai walked over to the boy and mother again and ruffled his hair. "You guys stay safe ok?" They nodded and she ran off again.[3/3]

Help them to feel safe and believe that even if another eathquake happens, the shinobi will protect their people and village.

 Konaga Riko Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin|| Taijutsu Specialist || Speed || Tectical || With each step she took towards the public security section and diplomatic relations section, Riko could feel herself running out of breath. As her breathing became somewhat heavy, she could notice the old lady's worry and quickly flashed her a smile in reassurance. "Don't worry mam, I'm alright, just surprised at how unexpectedly heavy this cart is. Did you happen to place like everything you own on it mam?" Riko questioned in a slightly humorous tone in order to try and lighten up the old lady's mood. Seeing the old lady chuckle and smile made Riko feel somewhat better dispite the heavy load that she had to pull. "Of course not deary, I only took my valauables and all the basic neccessities. A mattress for my poor aching back, a sleeping bag, and lots and lots of blankets. You never know, they may come in handy when night falls." Feeling somewhat dumbfounded at the idea of the old lady somehow stuffing a mattress and loads of blankets into such a small cart, Riko could only nod her head in silence as the two made some light conversation as they continued on their way towards their destination. Mission 1 [2/5]
Arriving at the Public Security Section 9/Diplomatic Relations Section 6 building, Riko found herself filled with relief as she felt herself close to almost worn out from pulling this cart here all the way from the sinobi housing. Helping the old lady find a safe place to set up camp, Riko and the old lady said their goodbyes before Riko left to go help out with some other citizens in need. Just as she was about to exit the area, Riko felt herself loosing her footing as she was tugged back by someone. Turning around to face her unknown 'attacker', Riko saw the paniced face of a mother filled with worry for a missing family member. "P-pl-pl-please help me! My daughter isn't here! We...we were all leaving the shinobi housing area together until she said she left something behind at the academy. We...we told her not to go and to just come with us here, where its safe. But I guess among all the panic, she...she probably slipped off. I...I...I don't know if she's alright or not, I...I thought she...she...she would come here once she retrieved her item but its...its been over 10 minutes. Please help me find her. I can't go...I have a little boy here that I need to look after...please...help me..." Seeing her distress, Riko couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor women, and quickly did her best to assure her of her little girl's safety. "Don't worry mam, I'm sure she's okay. I'll go right away to the academy to see if she's there. She probably just got delayed." Not trusting her voice any longer, Riko bid the lady goodbye and quickly rushed off towards the academy but not before another wave of pain washed over her. Placing a hand against the wall of a nearby building to steady herself, Riko took in several deep breaths, as she did her best to endure through the pain. Squeezing her eyes shut, Riko couldn't help but imagine many tiny little vermin eatting away at her insides as she felt herself kneeing over due to the pain. Doing her best not to scream, Riko silently endured the pain until it subsided a few moments later. Relieved that the pain was now back to a more bareable level, Riko quickly made her way towards the academy. Mission 1 [3/5]

Konaga Riko Iwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin|| Taijutsu Specialist || Speed || Tectical || Spotting the familiar building in sight, Riko picked up her pace slightly as she nudged the girl clinging onto her to take a look. "Hey, look, we're here. You're going to get to see your parents soon." Smiling as the girl perked up upon hearing that she'll get to see her family soon. She turned to look ahead towards the building hoping to see her family. Entering the building, Riko made her way towards the lobby where she first met the girl's distress mother and sure enough, there she was pacing around the far back with worry.
Squrimming from her hold, Riko couldn't help but release a soft chuckle at the girl's happiness and quickly brought her over to the still pacing mother. 'Guess she's so beside herself with worry that she didn't hear us coming.' "MOMMY!" The girl cried out excitedly from Riko's hold and as soon as the lady heard the sound of her daughter, she stopped pacing and tears of relief began running down her face as she rushed over to grab her child. "Oh, my baby, you're safe. Thank you so much for bringing my little angel back. Thank you so so much." After thanking Riko, the mother immediately returned her attention back to her daughter and replemended her for running off but when the child revealed what it was that she went back to the academy to get, the mother couldn't help but cry a fresh new set of tears at her child's foolishness and kind consideration. Smiling at the happy renuion, Riko momentarily forgot about the pain in her arms. Making sure to let the mother know of her daughter's bleeding ankle before she left, Riko was once more showered with several thanks before the mother left with her daughter to the first aid area. Mission 1 [5/5]
Deciding that it was time to head out herself, Riko exited the building and turned a sharp right towards a semi-lit and empty ally. Resting herself against the wall, Riko whinced once more as the pain overtook her arms. Once it subsided, Riko chanced a look at the damage and tenitively raised her right hand under her left sleeve to pull down part of her glove. Glancing at her newly exposed skin, Riko could see it darkening from the arguementation she performed earlier to lift the beam. Biting her bottom lip in response to the sight, Riko quickly pulled her glove back on, perferring not to look at it. Afterall, the sight of blackening skin was what first led to her fear and she hate for her curiousity to be the reason leading to her reliving it. 'Argh, I got to stop thinking about it. Its useless to think about it besides, there's still alot of people in need. Best to just busy myself with aiding the villagers.' Determined to do her best in assisting her village, Riko rushed off towards the gates, to see if there was anything she would be able to help out with over there.
