How about Murder in the dark online?
Its related to both autumn and winter because autumn is where the leaves drop off (die) and winter because it gets dark earlier. xD
Its original was based on a criminal theme. The criminal is blind folded and spun around until dizzy (in the dark) to catch the "night pedestrians" who walk past. Its usually played in a very dark room with 4-6 people but its a lot of fun with 3 too!
Well, online it goes like this; you have to design an avatar and hide behind the curtain item gaia has. (The more items the harder it is and you cant use commons or items you wear frequently.) You take it in turns to guess the avatar behind the curtain and then the winner who manages to list all items equipped gets the prize from the person taking part as the curtain keeper.
To turn it into an event I thought whoever gets it right becomes the next curtain keeper and so on.
Its something I came up with randomly but never thought to play because I didnt think it out well... Well theres my suggestion! Sorry I havent been on often too, I'm moving, father is going through treatment for cancer, I have to find a new job where I'm moving to and we are shopping like mad for University!~

Im clueless about events atm.
But, Naah, I dislike cosplaying.
Maybe something that reflects on a worldwide event/ problem.
E.g. Global warming,
Make people aware 8DD

@Art and curtain games: The events focus on being able to enter the avatar arena for a specific week, so neither of those would really work for these purposes D; They'd work as games in the game forums but not as actual events.

I don't like vuvuzelas, I have had a horrible time trying to make an outfit around them because their shape bugs me D:
Cosplay would be okay but it would be hard to find something everyone agrees on and make it tie together since there is a whole arena dedicated to cosplay so they would all have to have some sort of common ground. It is also hard to make accurate cosplays with gaia items unless they are basic or specifically made for that film/show/series.
Other ideas to add to my list:
- Halloween event.
- Dolls.
- Candy (like nerds, sweet tarts, etc).
- Inanimate objects.
- Foods.
- Metallic (silver, gold, copper, etc. just have to be able to tell the color choice by the avatar and can not be completely non-metallic).
- Autumn Colors/theme.

+1 for: ll-Frantic-ll - Royalty (again orz). - Monochrome. - Fairytales. - Mythology. I think cosplay is a little too overdone, and it'd be hard as hell to find a single anime that we all liked. Then again, we still have our Tea Party theme.
