I was thinking we could do half and half. Like one half red and gold and the other half blue and silver, to show the clash/rift between Vice and Virtue. I'll draw on paint and show you. Like this:

I like that idea. I already have a couple of artists in mind (no offense to you broken if you are an artist.) So I will tell them that the color scheme is half red and half blue with gold intertwined.
But my first concern is getting a complete staff for the room before anything else.

I have a layout artist in mind myself. He's made all my layouts for the ball so far and he does a great job. And lol it's ok, it was just a quick Paint demo to show what I meant. XD As for artists I would like to see who you have in mind though.

I have a pretty large closet. I shouldn't have a problem coming up with a wrathful costume. biggrin
This is just a thought, but what about red, yellow, and black for wrath? Those seem like a violent combination when mixed together. Or maybe red, black, and grey? Colors such as blue, white, and green are calm colors that might work for patience. This is is just an idea, but I think that wrath and patience should have separate color themes, and the co-hosts should should have the color schemes that show where they stand on the wrath/patience scale. I studied color and design theory a bit back in college, and they said that jagged lines and points tend to bring out the idea of anger in a painting or drawing. There was some stuff about vertical lines, horizontal lines, and diagonal lines, but I can't remember exactly. I think the vertical lines indicate stability, but I'm not positive. I remember that roundness suggests gentleness and fun, pretty much the opposite of the wrathful jagged lines. Anyway, those are just some suggestions. I hope those are useful. heart (btw, avoid college art classes; they are WAY more demanding than the high school ones, and they are definitely not classes to take if you want an easy semester)

(no offense to anyone)

(no offense to anyone) Ummm... I prefer to make my own costume, if that's ok. And as for matching to mesh, I hope you mean your Vice's match and my Virtues match. Because I don't think the Virtues should be matching the Vice's, considering the room will be divided by that little factor.

XD And I figure gold would be great for the Vice's seeing as it's a warmer and more aggressive colour, where as the Virtues would wear silver because it's calming and a more submissive/tranquil colour.

(no offense to anyone) That might be a problem because not everyone has the same items, and it wouldn't be good to make people go shopping for items just for the ball. Also, if all the items were made so that they make inexpensive avi's, it is likely that the hosts and co-hosts will be views and treated like newbs. I personally think that it would be best to let people create their own avi's within set character guidelines.

chibiusa: 1. I love your username. 2. I think that your suggestion of using blue, white and green would be great for my Virtues.♥ And the silver with them would look very nice.
I'll take a look on tektek and see what I can create for now and then update when new/better items come along that I think will work well for it.
What do you think?

I see what you mean, and I think you're absolutely right. biggrin I took several art courses through the years too, but then I stopped after two college courses. It was a completely different ball game, and I didn't feel like I could keep up with that level. So, ended up taking drama classes for electives. My major was in English and my minor was in psychology. I miss college in the worst kind of way. @_@ But back on topic, different color schemes for wrath and patience would be ideal, even as far as avi design is concerned. This is just a thought, but wrath could have red hair, patience could have blue hair, and the in-between co-hosts could have purple hair (a mix of box red and blue/wrath and patience). What do you think?

Has anyone started thinking of costume/outfit ideas for the sins and virtues? I'm not so bad at tektek and could offer a couple of each if a price range is suggested (and if I'm not stepping on anyone's toes)
