Unfortunately for Ai and Zhi, the rain did get harder – and fast! It began to turn into a full-out hurricane! Only a small one, but it was still worse than a measly storm. Zhi was actually wishing it was just a storm when she watched the sky darken and the wind whip up to lash at the trees. The water splashed around harshly enough to get the bottom of her skirt wet, causing the girl to squeak out in horror – not her pretty new dress! She almost felt like crying in frustration, her teeth gritting and hands clenched. Ooh, damn that wind!

Gāi sǐ!” She cursed out angrily as she used Ai to steady herself, taking off her heels. Well, as much as she didn't want to.. She did want to get out of this rain as fast as possible and heels just wouldn't help much in that. She let go of Ai once she had both shoes in hand, frowning at how uncomfortable it was to stand on the rocks without them. She would go home, but.. Oh, no, she wasn't going to do that. Her 'home' probably wasn't rain proof and her.. 'room' would be too loud in this weather! Only solution. “Your taking me to your house. Now, before we get soaked!” She told Ai and started to push her towards town, eager to get going. The girl would have to lead the way and, hopefully, Ai lived in a decent home..

It seemed that right after her comment about it storming the weather seemed to get worse. Ai glared up at the sky angrily, as if that would help but it was no surprise that it didn't. Ai looked back at Zhi as the girl began to push her, "My house? Oh, okay!"

No complaints – Zhi liked that! She smiled in a pleased manner as she let Ai lead her to the girl's house. She would have preferred moving them deeper into the woods, but with a hurricane like this? Zhi would be lucky to stay healthy as she was now! Imagine how horrible it would be if she ended up sick on her first day of school – one whole day of Elliot possibly being stolen away from her! Andy, too, she couldn't let the probably only easily controlled girls, as well as attractive ( to Zhi, at least ), get snatched up by some other wannabe! The early bird gets the worm, after all~! Plus, she could also have fun with Ai! Plant a little seed just in case Andy turned on her, since she really doubted Elliot would.

How did I get here???
After wondering out of his house, a little on the beat side from the battle with the horrifying contents of the fridge left to him by the previous owner of his shack like house, Tamaki Yamashita decided to just wonder around a bit to see a little more of the island. He had been shut up in his house for so long, just cleaning, it was kind of sad. Then again, he also got a letter of love advice from a fairy. Could his life be more thrilling? Yeah... it was pathetic... and he knew it, so he went out for a walk and ended up...

"Wait, where am I?" he looked around noticing a river, and then other than that, just a bunch of things he didn't recognize because he'd practically been a hermit since he moved into that crappy little house. Damn that piece of crap eating up my life... he clenched his fist slightly thinking about it, but then just like it go, knowing that he himself didn't put forth much effort either since he wasn't going to festivals and all.

Taking a seat on a near by rock, the asian man pondered life. I really do need to get out more... then maybe I wont get so easily lost... Does anyone ever really come our here, or am I going to have to wonder around till I finally do find other intelligent life forms out here? Being alone with his cleaning products for so long, really did kind of mess with his head. Oh well... I'll make it home eventually... and if not... that piece of junk can own someone else's life for a while... unless they just tear it down... he though for a moment Why didn't I just tear it down? Oh right, he had no where else to go because he didn't make any friends yet. baka baka baka! He hit himself in the forehead a few times before just letting out a long, long sigh.

What a lovely day for a walk~ River would have said that even if it was thundering or blizzarding, which is totally a word according to Kokoro and her roommates. But she really meant it this time! Daniel had just moved away, so Alex and Elliot were busy trying to do something with his room. River found home decoration boring and tedious, and the paint smelled bad. It also reminded her of her gang buddies. Ahh, those guys, getting high off of whatever they could find. So she was in a nostalgic mood, and she decided to take a walk to think.

Eventually she found herself at a river. A river! Hahah, it was like fate! Or a bad pun, one of the two. She grinned to herself as she walked along the water. Nirvani Island really was a nice place. She had no idea why Daniel would ever want to leave~ But he spent all of his time holed up on the computer, so who knew what he was thinking.

After walking for a little bit, River spotted someone sitting on a rock. A Japanese man! How could she tell? She just could! She was a genius like that! Smiling cheerily to herself, she waved to the man as she redirected herself towards the rock. "Hello! Good morning! Or afternoon. Or whatever time it is," she laughed at herself. "Whatcha doin'? Are you fishing?" she didn't care that he was sitting too far away from the water and didn't have a pole. It was still a valid question.

"Huh?" the boy whipped his head up to look in the direction of the voice that was talking to him. A girl, finally he met someone outside of his job, and same person was female. The first thought he had was pondering if she as one of the people on his list, but after tossing that to the side remembering that generally you're supposed to respond to people that are talking to you, he smirked. "Uh no... I'm actually kind of lost..." that was so smooth...

Of course, he meets someone new, a potential future girlfriend and he makes a complete moron of himself first thing. That was like Tamaki to do such a thing, but at least he wasn't being a hermit at the moment. "I'm kind of new around here, so I figured I'd take a look around and ended up here somehow... " I have no clue how to get home... he added to the end in his head as he watched the girl approach. She was kind of cute... He started to wonder about now, but then realized it might be a little premature to be thinking about date-ability, he's have to talk and get to know someone first, right? RIGHT!

Oh how exciting! River gave him a grin overflowing with excitement. Practically everyone she had met up until now had lived there just as long a or longer than she had. This was probably the first person she knew who was honestly new! She felt a small bit of pride, as if she was some Sonata Town expert. Well, of course, you haven't lived here as long as I have, she felt like saying. But she realized that that was actually a pretty rude thing to say to someone who had just confessed that he was lost. So she decided to focus on his second comment, about the wandering.

"Oh, me too! I was just taking a walk, and BAM!" she clapped her hands together at the 'bam', though the sound it made was nothing close to 'bam', "I'm here at the river. Life is funny like that, don't you think? Extra funny for me, because my name is River, and it's like, the same word and everything," she laughed, though it really didn't sound as funny when she said it aloud. Actually, it didn't sound funny at all. So maybe it was just a dumb pun. She looked down at her shoes for a moment as she recollected herself before smiling back up at Tamaki. "So yeah. I'm River. Who are you?" Nice recovery. She was good at segues, too. She slid her hands into her jean pockets as she mentally applauded herself for the good work.

River, River, River, River... Yeah I think you were on my list... he thought to himself. The girl seemed a little bit dim, but that was alright. She had a bit of innocence about her because of that stupid pun. "I'm Tamaki, nice to meet you River," he replied, bowing slightly as force of habit, forgetting that it probably would have made more sense to go for a hand shake... Yeah, it would have kept him on balance too and he stumbled about to keep balanced on the rock he'd been perched on.

Tamaki? Wasn't that also the last name of some girl in school with Elliot? Her sister had told her of some younger girl who had gotten knocked up. Ahh, that made her nostalgic, too. No no no, River had never been a pregnant teenager, but she was one of the few from her group who managed to make it to their twenties without a single pregnancy. Anyway, for a moment she imagined what it would be like if the girl married this Tamaki and he took her name. Then his name would be Tamaki Tamaki! Hahah, that would be funny and unfortunate. Then again, she was River Park. She wasn't one to mock others for having funny names.

"Nice to meet you," she replied while all of this name nonsense was going on in her head. "It's a nice river, isn't it? One of the nicer ones I've seen," she said as if she were a river expert. She just wanted to sound knowledgeable at something! You know, aside from how many times you could hit an average person with a metal pipe before they died. She found that out the hard way, and was not eager to share that number with the world, thank you very much. "How do you like Nirvani?" she asked, distracting herself with small talk. "Isn't it the best place ever?" she added, her eyes almost sparkling.

"Well I haven't seen much of it yet," he started because my house has been eating my soul while I'm not looking... "But thus far I like it pretty well," he smiled at the girl. He wondered why exactly she would say it's the best place ever, but then again, some of the things she said were a little on the dim side, so maybe it was just her way of expressing herself? He could hope as much... "So, what's your favorite part of living here in Nirvani? I'm curious to hear what's fun to do around here so I have good reason to avoid going back and working on my house some more..." Yep, he was the weirdo that bought that scary little house at the outskirts of town that looked like it'd been forgotten for some time. It was a scary kind of thing, and the man swore it really was eating his soul sometimes!

River paused to think. Her favorite? She had to choose? She crossed her arms, rested her fist against her chin, and thought carefully. It had all been pretty great, actually. "Hmm... The festivals are always fun, especially the tomato festival," she grinned at the thought. She couldn't wait until it came again! "Sometimes they hold other events, too, like the masquerade that was held at the mayor's mansion. That was fun too... I mean, until people started dying," she corrected herself with a nervous laugh. "I work at a bakery, and that's also fun! You should come by sometime. They have good food," she smiled pleasantly. "Of course, once my brother finally opens his own restaurant, I'll be working there, so... you should also go there!" Good job River! Advertising the restaurant, even when it hadn't even opened yet! Sure, Alex had been rejecting every business plan she had and as far as she knew had no intention of ever opening his own place, but she knew that wouldn't last for long.

River nodded to herself. Yup, that sounded like a pretty good list to her. It really wasn't, though. One was too broad, the other involved dead people, and the third was a half-assed plug for the bakery at which she worked (though no one had seen her there, since Kokoro is lazy and hasn't gotten around to it). So actually, it was a pretty crappy list of recommendations. Regardless, she was feeling content, and so she moved on to something else. "Working on your house? You're remodeling?" she asked. What a coincidence!

"Hmm, those sound like some... interesting adventures... I'll sure sure to check out the bakery some time for sure... but I'm a little leery about going to any masquerades if people die there... that and I dress up plenty already where I work..." replied Tamaki with a nod. He would really check out the bakery later... if he could ever find his way to the bakery. The girl seemed like she had good intentions telling him about all of this, but somethings were better left unsaid... Though he would like to hear more about what made the tomato festival so great.

His mind then got distracted by her question about his house. "Uh... yeah... It came to me in some what, less than great condition... A definite fix-er-up-er..." He shook his head. That was probably the understatement of the year... Nah, it would have been even worse if he said that it just needed a little work, slap up some paint... No, he was pretty sure there was a family of dead raccoons in the wall somewhere that was going to keep the house from ever smelling clean.

Micah Boyé

With his Luggage around his chest and his Guitar next to that Micah walked with Mae holding his hand towards the River. His red hair was pushed to the left by the gentle breeze coming through the trees and the chirp of the swallows filling the air. Micah had been experimenting with music while he was away, he swung his Guitar over to the front of his body and began an elegant jazz like plucking pattern as the two approached the smooth and kinetic stream."What did I miss?" Micah's voice rang out in a soft utter during the song, his eyes were soft and brimming with the refreshment of nature.

______________Mae took a deep breath and quietly exhaled. She really didn't feel like answering his question. She walked over to the edge of the riverbed and took off her boots to dip her big toe into the water, testing the temperature. Being that it still winter, the water was freezing. It sent chills up her spine but she went across large, flat, circular rocks. As if they were stepping stones. On the third rock, she lifted one foot and rose her hands to the air making an arc and spun around once. She had learned to do that by watching videos of ballerinas doing it and then practicing multiple times. Mae stopped and looked at Micah to see if he was watching and spoke.

"I basically told you what generally happened. You disappeared and I thought I'd never see you again. Cadeon went missing and Mindy and I received a letter stating that he wasn't missing but taken against his will. I didn't know about that until after I was attacked outside the bar in town. What more do you want to know Micah?"

Nodding softly Micah repeated the pattern once more as he walked towards Mae, his feet glided with grace from each stepping stone coming closer, his soft golden eyes staring Mae in the eyes with the soft intent of keeping her safe. The way she got defensive made him understand that whatever it was that happened she had not wanted to talk about it. "I understand, I'm sorry I left so early, I didn't get a choice. UN Peace keepers took me and my father in the night, it's long story I don't think I want to get into right now..." His voice gave a small shutter before he set his Guitar back down and wrapped his arms in Mae, enveloping her in his embrace.
