Fortunatly Eliza wasn't too heavy but her cheeks were flushed to suggest being overheated - or embaressed, which wouldn't be too far from the truth when would come to...
It'd would be a small comfort to know she had been caught but at the same time it wouldn't be *good* to start of the school year with a head injury.
(want me to have her wake up? or would you prefer her "out of action" for the rest of the class?)

┏━━━━━━━━━┓ ┗━━━━━━━━━┛ Severus felt Eliza's forehead, it was boiling hot. He lifted her onto his shoulder. "I'm taking her to the infirmary", he announced to the rest of the class before walking outside, obviously in direction of the infirmary.

(ok - but please don't count her out just yet, I don't want to be in too many forums at once but stilll want to be a part of the "story" occasionally)
::as Eliza was lifted, her backpack lurches over...a few travel magazines from Louisiana spill out and even one of her sketchbooks. The drawings suggest various costume designs and ideas from around Hogwarts for Halloween and other themed events::

"Eliza! Eliza, wake up!", he pressed, trying to shake her awake.

Eliza's head lurched forward as if she had fallen asleep but the fresh air and *careful* attention from Snape had worked after all.
Sitting upright and wincing with the fog her head was in, she rubs her eyes.
Oh no - I didn't...she looks towards him. Severus? Thank you... She had to chose her words carefully at this point; feeling there was no sense in being a bigger burdon than she'd been already.

Eliza removes a fresh handkerchief, offering it to Severus before she answers.
I guess I didn't take proper care of myself before the classes started this morning...
she knew that wasn't a proper apology, much less an explanation. But in keeping with trying not to overspeak, she shrugs.

Eliza nods, though her earlier actions may have reduced her to rag doll like behavior...
Fortunately she was stronger after the brief *rest*
I think so...using the bench to stand up and then try out her legs. Looking more like the reversal of getting into a boat, she smiles again - once facing him - trying to apologize to Snape for all she'd put him through.
This won't be a daily event, I can promise you that much!

She looks at her shoes puzzled. Just how *was* her carrying her to have those cursed things to dig into his back?
Eliza returns the smile, flexing her fingers as about to play a piano...
Don't think I wouldn't offer a backrub - but I'd better be on my best behavior for a few days.
She wouldn't dream of being so familar too fast but hopefully he could hear the playful tone in her voice.

Eliza nods trying not to be over excited. Unlike Snape who knew Luna, Eliza didn't know anyone before she had come to Hogwarts except for the all too brief moments both on the train and in the Great Hall with the others...
I'd like that...and if you should need something before then I'm usually the one going the wrong way down the up staircase!
She didn't know where one would "hang out" but at least it would give her something to look forward to!
Plus he had asked, so she must be doing *something* right.
