The reporter is obviously a Twi-hard.
Even though many of you know how this works, I'll list the types of Twiligt fans anyway...just because I like doing it. blaugh
Twilight fans: Like Twilight, but are aware of all of its flaws. It's safe to disagree with them, because they realize everyone has a different opinion. Twilighters: These fans believe that Twilight is the best thing ever written, BUT they are okay with the fact that not everyone agress. Twi-hards: Overly obsessed Twilight fans who will verbally attack you if you don't like Twilight or make a harmless joke about it. Twi-tard: Everything a Twi-hard is plus violent.
The man obviously falls under the Twi-hard category.
...and kudos to those who see the political joke in my post. lol

Thank god there are intelligent women like Emma out there. But it's sad that he [the reporter, not Emma]'s employed as a reporter when he offers nothing except cold-hard bias. He's obviously a Twi-hard.

Reporters are supposed to tell the news as it is, not bash others when their opinions differ from their own. I liked Emma Watson before, but now I've gained a whole new respect for her. How dare that reporter think they're the exact same thing?

I knew Emma Watson is the coolest actress ever. I've never seen or heard anything about her that makes me disrespect her. This only drives the respect to a whole new level! What a stupid reporter, really. And while I think the title of the article is really great, it's totally unfair. Emma didn't "rip" Twilight, or say anything mean or incendiary. She stated her opinion and gave a valid, factual reason to back it up.
There is NOTHING sexy about Ron and Hermione's relationship - like everyone here is saying, it's well-developed and has great buildup. It is possible to identify the point at which Ron kind-of sort-of figures it out (or rather, when he starts getting jealous of other guys around Hermione), if you pay close attention or re-read the series a lot: the Yule Ball in Goblet of Fire. It's difficult to tell exactly when Hermione figured it out (and actually figured it out, just refused to talk about it), but we can estimate around the third book (maybe she was lonely when Ron didn't talk to her? is my conjecture. But maybe she was only so upset because she'd already figured it out? Either way, it was after the second book and before or during the third book, if you ask me). Their relationship progresses slowly, they both date other people before finally figuring everything out, and it's so natural and gradual it's hard to even pick out the point when they're officially "going out" (before the seventh book, obviously, but when exactly? Dumbledore's funeral? Earlier?) I didn't even see it coming the first time I read the series. I finally figured out that they like each other and go "DUH! How did I not see that coming?!" It was so perfect that it clicked into place and we all realized that there was simply NO OTHER OPTION but for them to be together.
Sorry for the rant: I really go off when I talk about Harry Potter, more so when it's in comparison to Twilight.
I will never forgive the media for portraying Twilight as such a great thing all the time. I will never forgive Oprah for praising it so much and letting Stephenie Meyer on her show (although I watched it and confirmed that the woman really is delusional). I will never forgive the world for turning a blind eye to how truly disgusting and messed up Twilight is while they rag on Harry Potter for the slightest little things about "good and evil" or "dark magic" or whatever.

But then something tells me the Anti's would be placed in the anarchy slot. XD

What an impolite reporter! No matter what the fandom, a reporter shouldn't behave like that to a movie celebrity. Emma simply stated a personal preference, she didn't attack anyone in any way.

Sachie Whitby Ron dated Lavender Brown for a while. Hermione earned the affections of Viktor Krum, who was attracted to her most likely because she was the only girl who wasn't hounding him, but that ended in them only becoming very good friends. They both act a bit jealous when they see the other with someone else and don't immediately figure out why either. I was going to say- i think the fact that you can't quite tell who will end up with who until the end of over thousands of pages..that just shows how much better and unpredictable HP is as a series..Plus, i mean, it's not focused on a stupid relationship.

I totally respect Emma Watson for voicing her well-founded opinions.
Funny story: When my friend and I went to see the first part of "Deathly Hallows" last year, there was a part where Hermione started the Beadle Bard story about the three brothers coming upon a river "at twilight." Ron corrected her, saying that his mother always said "midnight" instead... but then backtracks and says, "But twilight's good. Twilight works. Twilight's better."
My response? "NO IT'S NOT!"
About six rows of HP fans cracked up. Great times.

I probably would've yelled something similar at the screen.
They probably put it in there to get a reaction...

Bwahaha well done Emma Watson. While i'm not a big fan of RonxHermoine (when I read the books I guess this went completely over my head) but their relationship is actually a relationship. Not based off of pure lust like Bella and Edward.
This has pretty much been said by everyone so i'm just agreeing. I love Emma Watson
