No offense taken. And actually, you do have a point - I spoke a bit rashly, I'm afraid... Anyways, it is a good genre idea, but (in my opinion) it's done so often that it's lost a lot of its novelty. Of course, it's still a good genre - but the problem is that a large precentage of all AU-Highschool stories are... kinda... crappy. Or plotless. Or unorigional. It's rare to find a jewel among them, but when they do show up occasionally.
I dunno... I'm just very picky when it comes to AU stories... sweatdrop

Yeah, you're right. I agree, the novelty of the genre has worn off, mainly because so many authors have tried (and in most cases, failed) to imitate it. However, I think that's what makes it so much better when one stumbles across a really good one. :3

The problem is many authors stick in charecters they invented, when they could have stuck in a FF charecter - I mean, it isn't like there's a shortage of them or anything...
I realised something bizzare this morning. If I could have three wishes, one of them would be for a monkey tail. O_o It's wierd - I've wanted one ever sence I can remember, hell- I have a phantom one, so when anyone "sits" on it, I start yelling and hurting before I remember it's not real... o_O And then it actually hurts for a while afterwards... Heck, that's part of the reason why I bought FFIX... O_o

Ugh, as far as I'm concerned, original characters in fanfiction can just die. >< Well, actually, there are some good original characters out there, but they are so horribly rare...>>

Yeah... sad, but true. Every time I see the word "OC" in a fanfiction description, I do my impression of Cid from FFVII...

Quite likely. I'd think that both he and Sora could have been bi... But then again...? 'Dunno. Anyway, just keep charecters that already exist, or use FF/Disney ones, and all should be okay.

Ah, really? Well, to tell you the truth, I actually thought the GoofyxSora one was pretty cute - but only as long as the story stays FLUFF - nice, PG or lower FLUFF. NO GOFFYxSORA lemons, ye gods! The horror...
