Virtas_Threin The Lolwut Pear Welcome, Virtas, glad to see you here. We are still rather small at the moment, but we are making plans on how to get ourselves out around Gaia. How went your DW run though, was it as frightening as when I first played it? Probably not. XD It's the only game I can think of where you can beat it around lv20-30. The difficulty really depends on what version he played. I haven't played all of them, but I know that DQ remakes are usually more polished and less grindheavy.

Oh wow, you beat it without problem? You must be really skilled then! :3 It took me like four retries and many Charlock/Exit/Return raids to even think about fighting Dragonlord assuming you're playing the original, original version for the NES.

Hello there Romancing Train, I've always wanted to play the Monster series, how was Cody's Journey for you? At any rate, do make yourself at home here, me and my fellow mods are changing things around here and planning a major idea that I will be sure to announce upon completion, so things might be a little hectic around here these few days, but I'd be more than happy to stop and talk with you and others every now and then! 3nodding

I totally noticed this topic here...yeah no I didn't so I will post here now. The name is Belzayne, but please, call me either Zayne or Nom like I stated somewhere else. Obviously you would wonder, "Why is he called Nom? It is nowhere in his name."
Good question...Nom is a short version of my old username on my old account NoMetal Desu. So yeah...hey guys.

Glad to see you here, Nom! (Although I'll always think of you as Zeiss from FEF who read the entire "Great Wall of Lara") Anyway, hope you find it comfy here, LP'ng is currently the big there round' here, but we're slowly making bigger plans to accommodate everyone.

I understand LP'ing is big here, and I decided after looking at some, I wanted to try my hands at it, like I said in the giant...text...block thing in the Meet the LPers. I'm new at this so I hope I do all right.

Hey there. I'm gabriel sama. Some of you guys may know me as Roy, aka the Pimp Lord. The only DQ game I've actually played is Dragon Quest VI, and that is going fairly slowly, since I'm having trouble getting the patch to work properly. I did watch my neighbor/cousin in Brasil try out DQ VII though, which first got me interested in Dragon Quest. So yeah, looks like I'm your care. Nice to meet ya.

Welcome Roy, I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who played DQVI, it's in my opinion, has the best character art (Hassan, Hassan, Hassan~), if you need help on patching it, I'd be more than willing to help (within legal limits of course), first off, I'd recommend NoProgress's patch if you're already not using it, it's much more accurate and less buggy than Dejap's.

Hey guys, PKPyroWolf. PK or Wolf works.
I learned of the Dragon quest series in 7th grade from my friends. They were playing Heroes: Rocket Slime. I gave it a go and 3 years later I got VIII. Fastforward a couple of months to now and the Celebi event and preorder of Pokemon White made me go look at DS games for VI, but I got IV at reduced price by $8.

The only game I recall getting for $8 not on the Virtual Console was Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles. That game was on final clearance.

I shelled out $50 for both Dragon Quest IV and V at the same time, so $25 a game wasn't that bad, nothing compared to the $100 I paid for my boxed copy of Dragon Warrior II. gonk I still never opened it by the way, my father owns a copy himself and I use his in case I ever get the need to play 8 bit rage. Anyway, good to see you here, I'm sure you know this by now, but Dragon Warrior IV is my favourite Dragon Quest/Warrior in the series although VI (SFC version, I'm a bit of an SNES purist you may find) and VII closely follow as the class systems are well done in those games.
