Europa changed on the spot, blinking into Tallulah Cowden in her ratty old jeans and Dartmouth sweatshirt. She didn't get a good look at the figure as he came into the light, but she gave him a cheerful wave and said, "I'll see you later, Kaatje! Get some sleep, okay? I gotta get home."
Her own parents would surely notice she was gone sooner or later. She suspected they knew she was still sneaking out and had decided there wasn't a whole lot they could do about it.
"Good night!" she said, and beat a hasty retreat down the driveway to where she could henshin up behind the hydrangeas. She was always happy to help someone home, but the only irate parents she wanted to ever have to deal with were her own!

She flinched at the jaunty tone, hands coming up to her ears, but she managed to wave goodbye to her supposed party buddy. Behind her, the butler said, "Miss?"
"It's no one," she said, quietly, "it wasn't... anyone."
Then, calmly, she turned around and walked into the house as her employee shut and locked the door behind her.
