"Well honestly- none of them come walking in." He snorted. "I couldn't keep myself from taxidermy work as much as my parents protested." He wiggled his eyebrow. "But you know if any of your patients die you can send them to me to be stuffed and mounted. I could ALWAYS use the extra business. And because your my best pal- I'll even give you a discount...because I have a feeling I'll be seeing a fair amount of your patients pass into my office..."
He couldn't stop himself from laughing. Then he stopped at the mention of an appointment. "I knew you were going to get around to that..." He grumbled. "Fine on agreement you don't go POKING me with anything- or sticking yer fingers where they don't belong. You know how much I despise going to doctors."

"Tsk, tsk~ Sure your parents aren't happy about that, eh? Suits you, though, you old mutilator." He clapped a paw on the taxidermist's shoulder as he stood at the counter. He thumbed quickly through the folders and came to the right forms he needed. He withdrew it and an ink quill, then passed the papyrus paper towards the other hound.
"Just some brief info for records, name, birth date, allergies, any known maladies~" He said this with a jiving smirk as he nudged Anpu with an elbow.
"I know how much you hate it~ But that doesn't mean you should avoid it, Anpu. I promise not... This time. But you will need a full one at some point. Just a some questions and a brief look over, as always. You know I never do anything invasive unless there is probable cause. Come on back to my room. You're the first patient here."

He nodded with a small moan and took the paperwork and a pen. He started scribbling some information and then handed it back to Ottah though even though he wasn't a doctor 'persay' his hand writing was still illegible like one. He paid special attention to the box that checked that he was married. He always liked bragging that he married the hot Chione. He could never stop talking about his wife.
"Fine you can get it over with now. I filled out your paperwork. But I swear- no needles..." He glared at the jar in the back of the room as if they were going to spring up and attack him at any moment. He then turned back to Ottah. "Seriously..."

"No needles, I promised."
He grinned as he raised his paws defensively, then took the paperwork, looked over it, and set it aside for one of the two slaves to pick up. He'd double check to make sure they filed it properly, later. Good lord, he needed to teach those two how to read and write. Maybe he'd go back to Zanzibar soon and pick up a pretty, little assistant to help him around the office. But never mind that, now, he had business to attend to, even if it was between old friends.
He quickly checked Anpu's pulse, checked his mouth, and had a quick feel of his throat.
"So, my friend, have you had any abnormalities, lately? Any strange symptoms, a change in diet, aches, pains? Everything running smoothly, if you know what I mean? I know going to a doctor makes you uncomfortable, Anpu, but you ought to know as well as anyone that everything here is highly confidential."

((Um... I hope Soarin' doesn't mind me coming and posting. Its been a fair few months, and I'd like to visit XD If there is an issue, let me know, and I can postpone this!)) A night back in Zanzibar had not bee kind to the barrel chest of Serpen'teer. Back in the fresh, salt air of Giza, a cough had started to attack his lungs, and make him feel particularly queasy. Nights spent coughing had irritated the Hound to the extreme, and as he stomped his way up to the Doctor's Office in Giza, his mood was in a terrible state. Whoever got in this Hound's way was going to regret it!
As he pushed his way in, the greyscale Hound was already coughing. It was a deep, chesty cough, probably brought on by the dirty conditions in Zanzibar, the night in that sleazy hotel of Nappa's, and then travelling with two flea-bitten slaves back to Giza. All of these had impacted on whatever bug he'd picked up from the slums of Zanzibar, and had finally given Serpen'teer reason to visit the Doctor. He had been meaning to for quite some time, to arrange some sort of monthly checking scheme with the doc for his slaves that were breeders and bedders, but with a lack of slaves, he had no real reason to come and see him to discuss such a proposition. However, this cough seemed the perfect excuse to meet with Ottah, and propose his plans.
Stepping into the office, the marbled Hound looked about himself, and awaited some sort of greeting.
