Methinks its about time to think about upgrading, if not simply for the fact I loathe my Behringer. Its a great little amp, but its just not specialized enough for my needs. Don't get me wrong, I love having a jack of all trades, but this thing's a master of none. Mediocre all the way around. I want a nice crunchy classic rock amp with some clean headroom to boot.. and two channels doesn't sound to bad either. Any suggestions?

You could grab the 50 watt (the lowest wattage) and you'll have more than enough for practice, and if you even need to gig, you can mic it. wink

Mesa Boogie Recto-Verb (Single Rectifier 50Watt with a Reverb Tank) through a Marshall 1960A. Oh yeah, Ash, I agree with JamesT. Check into the Marshall AVT50. It has awsome CRUNCH, creamy midrange, and lots of Clean headroom. The reverb sings too. Just make sure to do it justice, plug into a 4X12.

I live for the day I'l need 50watts of power through a 412 cabinet! Right now I've got no drummer to be heard over, so that AVT will have to wait (but i want one so bad now!)

I was impressed by the tone, sweet distortion, you can get crunch, metal, and buch of good dists.

i used to have a smaller marshall, but now all i have is a fender 25r. its really crappy in my opinion, but some might like it. i'm looking into a micro stack(marshall most likely) for practice purposes.

A Fender Frontman 15W. It's enough for me since i'm also a pianist and bassman.

I have a Peavey Rage 158 Trans-Tube. Not bad. OD sucks though. But I use my step-dad's Peavey Bandit 112, Sheffield equiped. I was gonna play it out of a speaker for band practice, but I was told it'd split the signal. So I'm stuck playing out of one of the crappier Vox amp heads.

I'd like to try a Marshall Micro-stack. I just wish it wasnt just a head-and-cabs version of their low-end-a**-munch-o-rama combos.
All bashing aside, I'd love to get my hands on a Peavy Classic 20... mm...

I have a small Marshall 30 watt, And a huge Traynor 150 watt.
I usually connect them together, and together, they give this huge 'punch'. You can litteraly feel the music.
The volume is only at 2 out of ten...but it still makes your chest vibrate when played. I love the overdrive on them... So powerful...
