Itzpapalotl snorted. By the constant change in his temper she was already certain that this stallion's mind was already far gone.

"You have a lack of analytical skills. From what I have seen you do not think before speaking or letting your temper get the better of you. You also have a low image of yourself and seek the sympathy, or pity, of others. You have made it clear to me that you are alone in this world, but have you ever stopped to really think why that is and how you can change it?" Itzpapalotl paused from her rant to let the question sink in. "Perhaps you need to be alone in this world to figure yourself out before you can be 'cured' of this curse or condition you have."

Her head remained held high as she spoke. Every word was spoken with confidence. There was no medical diagnosis for what was wrong with this stallion, but she felt she had the general idea of his problem.

Senshi visibly winced at her diagnosis of his condition. For some reason it hurt worse coming from such a beautiful and proud creature... He stood and waited for a moment, then took a deep breath before speaking again, "I see... So then I shall never be cured... I thought..." His voice started cracking then, "I thought that I could find help amongst the mighty Angeni. The great Healers of Old... But all I have found is more heartache... I am sure that I know what I wrong with me Angeni. The insults that were heaped upon me as a colt. That I would never find anyone to spend my life with... That I was too ugly to attract a Mare... I see now. I really do... Life is completely unfair and I wish for it all to end." He moved his head down in a small bow to her. "I suppose I should thank you for the little insight and help you offered me. Maybe someday we might meet again on better circumstances. May fair winds favor your wings Angeni." He turned to walk away then his head held high as he tried to show a little pride before the great Angeni he had found.

Little? Her nostrils flared, but she held back the snort. There was a saying about casting pearls before swine, hopefully this one would take in her words. After all, he had asked for her help.

"You will never be cured if that is what -you- believe. Have you not been listening to me? Or even yourself? Those insults must be true because you have taken them as such. You remain a poor shadow of what a proud stallion you could be because you hold yourself back. I might be able to use the illusions of light to create a false reality for you, but that will bring you no comfort in the long run. Only an Angeni of the mind can permanently alter who you are."

Itzpapalotl remained still even when the stallion begun to leave.

"We shall not meet again, not if you take such little value in life. It is not cruel, you are just too oblivious to see what good it has to offer."

Senshi stopped where he was and looked back over his shoulder. Then he turned completely to face her. "Please." He stopped for a moment, "I realize I am a shadow. Would you care to know just what did this to me..?" He stopped and watched her for a moment and without waiting for her answer continued, "I don't suppose you heard of my Father have you..? Someone by the name of Maelstrom..? The great and powerful stallion that bravely fought a Skinwalker and died valiantly under its claws...?" He snorted for a moment and continued, "Well Maelstrom was no valiant stallion. He was a b*****d... Please excuse that miss. I did not mean to swear... But in all senses of the word he was. He challenged that Skinwalker in his old age and was killed, but before that he tortured me day after day... You see... I killed my brothers... I didn't mean to..." His voice cracked again as he remembered the harsh whinnies and screams coming from the cave cliff drop off. He was shaking now as the memories came back. "My parents never found out that I was the one who did it... I was just playing.. I pushed them and then they were gone... My father suspected that I had a hand in their disappearance... And treated me terribly afterward." He stopped talking. Why had he divulged so much to this Angeni... Why..? Because for some odd reason he felt comfortable around her.

Itzpapalotl's frown deepened as the stallion spoke again. Nothing she had said was sticking to this stallion. It should have been obvious. Men are -useless- and selfish. This stallion has shown proof to this theory. Xochi surely by now would have scared this miscreant off.

Before she could state that she could care less about his past he begun to tell the tale. Strangely she remained to listen. The name was unfamiliar, as was whomever's deed.

Itzpapalotl had finally heard enough. She was tired of sounding like a record and she was very tired of dealing with this inferior.

"Than you have problems with guilt as well. Whomever your father was is gone now and yet you continue to dwell on -everything-. Take my advice or continue down your path. It matters not to me."

With that said Itzpapalotl turned around and once again begun to walk away. The light illusion would hold in place until she was far enough for it to no longer have an affect in that area.

"Thank you..." The faint whisper came from the Stallions mouth. "I know I am keeping you far longer than you wish and I can see that you want to go. I will not hold you longer. All I can say is thank you... You have helped me. I know I was a bother, but thank you. This is all I can say. You are a kind and just Angeni, and I apologize for everything said in the beginning. Fair winds favor your wings Angeni of the Forest, Daughter of the Ruler of this Realm." He turned and for once in his life head held high, memories at bay. He would try and live his life like it should be led and follow the Angeni's advice.

Itzpapalotl flicked her tail. She had no interest in what the stallion had to say. Everything was a repeat of what he originally had claimed, he was a irritating bother. She got that, no need to continue to beat the dead horse.

She focused forward and begun to ponder what she was going to do for the rest of the day. No doubt her mother would have more lessons for her.
