The Legend of the guardian of the skies!

Ialu and his friends taught the Ho-Oh children a variety of skills and everyday tasks. Ho could now stitch patches into clothes, cook over three meals, swim, climb trees, fly smoothly, use fire powers and was an expert at cleaning. The legendary child liked living with Ialu but she knew in her heart it was time to get ready and leave the forest. Every day she would ask him if she was ready and he would reapply "Not today". So on the day he said yes , Ho could hardly bealive it. She was told she first had to pass a test given to her by an elder named Sage.

She was given a map with vary detailed instruction. Before going she had a good talk with Oh, he seemed rather displeased that Ho was going on such brave journey. Though he wished her well in his own way. Ialu handed her a bag full of barriers, ember, and a note she was told not to read. She was given a pep talk and off she went.

She decided to fly up to the mountain facing the ocean. A few bird Pokémon flew alongside her "hello my friends" she almost chirped. It wasn't too far away by air so Ho reached her final destination in less than thirty minutes. Once she was at the bottom of the mountainside she ate a few berries and rested a bit. Once she felt like she could handle looking for a hidden entrance she wasted no time. She pulled out the map and looked for two strange trees. She found strange honey tree that in an odd spot two branches sticked out almost making an 'X'. She then used sacred fire in that area. She smiled as an entrance reviled its self. She walked on in to be greeted by odd looking man.

His clothes covered in dirt, his bread came down to his chest, and his eyes are covered by a long bandanna. Both hands have one large spike on them, and his hair long and white. He also has a long tree sticking out of his back. One of the braches has a live bee nest hanging. Ho coudn't stop looking at it. "Yep them is real honey bees, friendly as can be". He looked around his cave "Made this cave myself , took me years to build it and polish" he stated. Ho tried to talk but he cut her off "You found this place much faster than others, but you had an unfair advantage. Ho smiled a bit "I have a note for you" she got it out. "Hand me the whole bag dear" he held out his arm. She handed over to the large man. Once he had the bag he walked over to his fireplace threw the letter, and the barries into the fire.

Ho's eyes got big "Don't you need the letter she asked" the man looked over to her "Noo I need the material the bag is made of" he smiled. "The note was test, you passed". He started to fiddle around with a few handmade gadgets. After messing around with the bag he placed it under a funny looking microscope. He looked over at her, then back down. Then the elder started to move around sporadically. Once he was done he handed her a bag "Take this, and find me a gold pendent that looks just like this" he help up the one in his possession. It’s on the bottom of the ocean floor, a quirky rock fish has it, make sure you dive down and get it, you will be the only one who can see it" he stated. Ho looked at him and could not find words to speak.

"Go now , the waves will be getting large in three hours or so , you will meet everyone you need to" Sage stated. Ho tried to speak but he cut her off once more "No time to chit, chat just go , also make sure to give this Star to the first who ask for it, he placed it in her bag". Ho tried to ask some things but the Torterra elder kept cutting her off mid speech. So now she was back out, up in the air flying towards the ocean.

She found a corsola who knew of a relicanth who collected items and hid them where he rested. Ho wanted her to take her down to the bottom of the ocean but the corsola knew better so she found a seel friend who would help. After reading about the items in her bag, she felt ready. Ho could only hope she was capable of doing such a task.

The Ho-oh Girl and her relicanth friend had spent a good amount of time with Sage and he had taught them well. He gave Ho a list of people she had to meet. He drew the people , being that he cant see it was hard to make them out. Sage told Ho that she would see clearly when the time came. She trusted him and did not question what he said. Though she had only spent a few days with Sage she felt confident that she could find the strength to take down the people who destroyed her temple. It was exciting to think she would soon be seeing Caden.

The Torterra elder took the two kids outside. They were greeted by an arcanine named Noland. Ho smiled "You are the leader of the Growluel tribe" she slightly bowed her head. The arcanine fully bowed "Its an honor meeting you" he stated. Brick chuckled at this gesture. Ho smiled "Thank you , your grandson is a vary brave soul and I am sure you are too" she stated. Noland stayed bowing till Sage started to talk "He will be taking you two out of the woods, and into main Gaia he will have the strength to do so, but Noland you must rest a full day after" he bowed to the fire pokemon.

The rainbow bird looked at Sage "Will I not get to say good by to Ialu and my brother she asked. He shook his head "Not yet, you must leave now" he stated. Ho took a deep breath "I am ready" she looked down trying not to cry. Brick smiled "Don't worry Ho, we are going to have so much fun!" the rock fish didn't know how big of task he was on. He knew what he needed to know , he was going on an adventure. Sage then gave them both a hand made a back pack full of items they would need and special helmets so they would be safe on the ride. He then helped get the two mounted onto Noland. Sage wished them luck , and they road off at super speed. It didn't take them long to get to Gaia, and before they knew it they were at "Night Family Farm" where Caden lives.

Noland made it to the entrance of the 'Night family farm'. He found himself looking at two buildings. He took a sharp right. He was now in a middle of field close to a small tree. Caden was standing there practicing some sword techniques. Noland didn't even have time to talk before he crashed into a slumbor. Ho and Brick got off the firey beast. "Caden" Ho said as her eyes sparkled.

The Numel boy didn't recognize Ho at first. He ran to his grandfather "What happened to him" he asked. Brick smiled "He ran all the way here from forist, he just need to sleep it off" the rock fish stated. Caden looked at Ho "Your the Ho-Oh, what happened?" he asked. Ho smiled " I had to use a star to turn human, we need to find the ones who destroyed our temple" she looked a little sad."You mean your temple?" Caden asked. A soft smile formed on the rainbow girls face "No, I have a brother , we where once two spirits living in one body" she stated. Caden noded "Thats why you had two voices" both children smiled.

Brick started to feel whoozy "Ohhh boy the long ride is starting to catch up with me" he leaned over resting his arm on Noland. Ho was also feeling a little weak. Caden looked concerned "Let me go get you some water" he stated. Ho tried to smile "Thank you Caden but we have water in our packs" would you mind getting it out for me. The shiny numel quickly ran over to the pack on Ho's bag handed her the flask inside, he did the same for Brick.

A boy named Ethan step forward "Let me call my Dad, I'm sure he can help". Caden looked back at his friend " That's probly a good idea, I'm sure Gabriel can help" he stated. Before the trio barged in on Caden, he had been showing Ethan some new sword moves he learned. Ethan called her Dad. Ho smiled than closed her eyes for a bit.

When she opened her eyes she was in a room, she looked around and saw Brick resting. She could smell green tea, almost like Iula's tea. She looked up to see an older woman looking at her. "Hello" she said in a soft voice. "Caden has told me many stories about you, I wasn't sure if you where real or not" the elder said. Ho's eyes shined "I was told about the outside world , and I wasn't sure if it was real" she stated. The woman smiled "My name is Paulette, you are on the Night Family Farm " she stated. "I care for the Night family" she was rocking back and forth mending on a chair. Ho reached out her arms and stretched "My name is Ho and my friend here is Brick, do you know where Noland is" she asked. The elder nodded her head "He is sleeping in the barn , we were able to move him , it wasn't easy, you all have been sleeping for over a day" the nanny said softly as she cut and measured the garment she was working on.

Ho got up and walked near the cup "Is this for me" she asked. The nanny smiled 'Yes it is, So do you have a home to stay in" Paulette asked. Ho shook her head. "Well you and your friend are fine to stay with me" she nodded. Ho looked up "really" she asked. The nanny nodded "But you will have work here that needs to be done , and you will have to go to school" she stated. Ho nodded " That is vary fair". The Nanny got up "This is a dress , one of the night kids use to wear , you may have it now" she stated. Ho smiled "Thank you , I will not forget your kindness".

Once Brick woke up the two decided together that they would stay living on the farm. Ho planned on trying to gather into about the attackers as she lived on the farm. It seemed fate was being vary kind to them.

So it became official Ho and Caden are an item. The new Camerupt teen couldn't believe the legendary Ho-Oh could possibly like him let alone want to date him. Maybe that is the reason why he never saw her affection as anything more than friendly. Once he became public with his relationship states everyone from Telma to Gabriel Night teased him about his clueless and that it was only a matter of time before they dated. Ho was open about her feelings long before they made the announcement. As Caden grew more comfortable with being in a relationship, he started to show random acts of affection. It defiantly made Ho the envy to alot of girls, who where jealous of her prince charming.

The couple where seen all over the Family Farm holding hands and stealing kisses. Whenever Ho was around Caden she beamed like a ray of sun. On the farm they spent a lot of time out in the meadows cuddling near trees and playing in the wild flowers. The cool thing about dating Ho for Caden was her willingness to teach him how to master his fire powers. She helped him learn the move 'Earth Power' by showing him how to move rocks and other hard earth matter with his move 'Heat Wave'. They spent time in the meadow practicing by having him sending rocks into other rocks. He got really good and was even able to explode rocks using the move. Though he always made sure to clean up after himself, or at least the best he could. He even asked Gabriel Night if it was ok for him to smash rocks. Gabriel didn't mind since there were plenty of chunky rocks around.

Caden started to enjoy working with the cattle on the farm. He confessed this to Ho and she asked him if he ever asked the Dairy Farmer Isidora if she needed official help. Caden wouldn't even of thought about asking for a job. He just like spending time with the cows and chatting with them. When asked Isidora she stated she did need help getting them back in the barn at night and could use an extra help on clean up control. He offered his help and she gave him a job. Ho always knew the right thing to say to Caden to help inspire him.

It wasn't just one sided in this relationship. Caden words of encouragement help keep the Ho-oh teen stable. When she would get homesick he would pull her aside to cheer her up . It was hard adjusting from being a legendary pokemon to a everyday Gaian. Caden is a great listener and enjoyed listening to Ho's stories of the past. He was amazed at how much he didn't know about Ho-oh. He had no idea that the three legendary dogs were born from his home on Matsutta volcano. He only knew a little about Entei who visited Mummacrump and his father a few times in a year. Just talking about the past helped cure the home sickness.

The couple complemented each other perfectly. They learned and grew together. The farm goers also liked watching the couple. Even Telma approved of the two but she would never tell.

The legendary bird flew at strong speeds towards the mountain. She never seen strong bolts of lightning before. She could hear roars and moans in the wind. As she got closer to the volcanoes top she could hear Raikou's howl. She landed near where a bolt just hit "What is this?" she asked. One more roar was heard near the north side of the volcano "Entei is gone and we can no longer feel his power" said Suicune. Ho looked up at the sky and used sunny day once more time and the night sky raveled itself and the storm calmed. She looked around "Entei revile yourself to me" Ho spoke in a powerful voice. Nothing but the call of nature and two dogs howling could be heard.


Ho placed her hand over her chest and took a deep breath but she couldn't feel her loyal friend"How long has Entei been gone" she turned to both dogs. Raikou placed his head down "Today" he looked at her. "Now there is a woman who looks like him" Suicune stated. "We can't find her" Raikou stated. "Hence the emotional storm" her face looked cold. Both dogs bowed their heads "Do not be upset, my heart would be in a pang if he where died, I have feeling some kind 'darkness' has been placed over him". She looked around from the mountain to see if Noland had reached the volcano. "I will talk to the groweluel tribe, see if the ground pokemon have any knowledge of what is going on, or where he could be. Also there is a young girl named Molly-Sue, she is staying at Ialu's house, please find her and bring her to Sage" she looked at Raikou. "Suicune hunt the land see if you can't find the imposters tracks" she stayed calm. She knew over reacting would not help her find Entei.


The warmth of Caden grew and she knew her allies were on their way. Once Noland arrived he looked rather exhausted. Ho walked up to him with a soft touch warmed him and he could feel his energy coming back. "Thank you Noland" the Ho-oh smiled. "Ho, Do you want us to go now" the water dog asked. She smiled "No, I would like you to meet my friends" she bowed towards them. Caden and Brick both waved at the legendary dogs and Noland bowed slightly making sure not to send his riders to a fall. " I would like you to treat them as you would I" she stated. "They are my friends, she walked over reaching her right hand to Caden, he reached his left hand holding hers. "The Camerupt Male is my companion" she softly smiled. Both dogs bowed and Ho gave them permission to leave.


"Entei, the loyal dog of fire has gone missing and I must find him, I would like to speak to the elders of your Tribe" she spoke to both Caden and Noland. Noland sent out a large howl. Immodestly a few of fire canines appeared to greet the team. Noland wasted no time with his tribe "We must speak to mother and father" he stated as Caden nodded. The few who showed up where shocked to see Caden evolved. They where lead to the entrance where the tribe resides. Ho planned on visiting the tribe but not like this. "Caden, Noland, and guest greetings" said Mummacrump. She coudn't see them yet but could sense them. When she saw Caden her heart skipped a beat "Have you fallen in love?" she asked. Caden couldn't help but grin "Yes, but that is not why we are here, Entei has gone missing and we were hoping for support from the ground and fire pokemon in searching for him" he stated. "Now now now, we can send out a search team, but I would like to know more about the lovely lady you have with you" she stated.


The fire bird took a deep breath "I am Ho, I along with my brother we made up Ho-oh" she stated. Mummacrump along with the tribe around bowed. "As much as I would love to ask your blessing over our relationship I worry for my friends wellbeing. We must search for the woman who has taken the form of Entei, but if you could gather Pokemon, I bet we could find Entei's birth place" she stood with authority. The head Arcanine spoke "We will assemble a team, we wish you success in finding answer" he nodded. Ho smiled and turned to Caden "Do you want to come with me, or do you want to stay with your family" she said with respect. " I know you can fly, I will stay with my family" Caden stated. Ho leaned in for a kiss and Caden puckered up and placed his lips on hers. Mummacrump looked like she was beaming with happiness though she tried not to let it show. Her son snatched a great catch and she was so pleased. "Numel's spread out and speak to all the earth digging pokemon we must help find Entei " spoke Mummacrump. "Growlithe's, Arcanines run among the land and hunt for this Entei inposter" Said the elder Arcanine.

The rock fish stood amazed at how everyone organized "Ho do you want me to stay also" he asked humbly. Ho nodded "Yes , I will fly down to Sage and see if he can help" she stated. Brick agreed and went off with the Arcanines. Ho looked at Caden "Ok, I will leave now" she placed her hands in his "Be safe, and stay strong" she stated. He looked into her eyes "You do the same" he leaned in and pecked her on the lips and joined his birth mother in leading the Numels. Ho looked up and flew out of the volcano up in sky she looked over the land. She felt a slight warmth, she knew there was hope. She just needed to trust in that. She than sliced through the air heading down the mountain to where Sage lives.

Today was less than planned for Ho. She stood next to a cave as her best friend and boyfriend among other ground and rock pokemon begun slowly removing rocks from the entrance of the cave that trapped Entei. She had so much to address but at this moment she just wanted to get to her friend. Living outside the forest was nice, she forgot about all her responsibilities. She couldn't help but feel slight guilt for what happened to Entei. She shouldn't of let Ki free, she should of trapped her and dealt with the dark type once she got the group she was traveling with to Ialu. She didn't allow the guilt to consume her. She was making things right now and thats all that matters. As the pokemon moved rocks Ho realized staring at the rocks moving and being piled up wasn't going to make the rocks move faster. She looked out into the setting sun a small smile rested on her face as she closed her eyes.

She remembered the first time she saw Entei. His howl excited her bones as he jumped out of the once active volcano. He tackled the great bird and gave it a large lick. As the temple was being built she wished on a star during the great lights in the sky. She wanted companions to help govern the land. Entei was always a good friend and never questioned the motives of Ho-oh's leadership. She smiled when she thought of Entei running to her when she was a child. He gave her a simple white dress. She still has that dress and holds onto it. She wanted to ask him where he got it from. She now just wanted to know if he was ok. She knew in her heart that if he wasn't she would sense it. Still the unknown made her uncomfortable. She looked at the hard working Pokemon as they got closer to having it be safe getting into the cave. She felt a great appreciation for those willing to help.

The fire bird realized the pokemon where getting thirsty and decided to take on water duty she took a half gallon container Caden had with him and went up to Aura lake and started to collect water plus berries from the area. Molly-Sue helped make the berries into a jam and as pokemon took turns resting the girls aided them. Ho stayed calm at all times not allowing anxious feelings to control her. She knew right when the cave was open she was heading in. Till then she let the pokemon do their jobs. She just kept herself open to help where ever she was needed.

The bird sat at the edge of the ledge dangling her feet over the dramatic drop "Do you think Ki will keep endangering pokemon?" she asked Molly. The plant type turned to her "Honestly , I think we have seen the worst from her. She got what she wanted, I had no idea what had happened to her , she kept her history to herself for the most part" Molly said with a huff. Ho patted her back " Well, that is why we need order , when its lost all sort of havoc happens" she said as she looked out at the land covered by night. "We are clear" she heard Brick shout. Ho flapped her wings and stood up she started to walk but with each step she picked up speed till she was running.


Once in the cave she found two other pokemon who were trapped " I need others to come in , Entei isn't the only one trapped in here" she stated. Molly-Sue, Brick , and Caden entered leaving the pokemon outside. They couldn't have to many pokemon in the cave because it could collapse. Both trapped pokemon where unconscious but in stable conditions. Ho traveled in the cave but still couldn't feel Entei. She covered herself in a safe guard and used mystic fire to light the cave. It took at least ten minutes of running at a good speed to find Entei resting in the cave. He was covered in powder and had a device near him. Ho burned the item with the hottest fire she could make and it was consumed. She could now feel him "Entei, do you hear me" she wept. He opened his large eyes "Ho" he said weakly. She placed her hand on him and started to warm him up using her fire moves. She had a medium size flask with her and poured water into his mouth. "Just take your time and build energy". She flapped her wings to create wind to blow the pouter off of him. Her tears flowed but she stayed strong " I am so relieved your ok" she stated. He looked up at her and softly nudged her with his head "You are beautiful, my Dear" he softly smiled.

It could of been the drowsy talking but Ho took it as a complement and decided not worry that he didn't quit understand what was going on. Once he was able to move Ho slowly walked with him out of the deep of the cave. The other two were taken out already and being cared for. As Ho walked out with the great beast the pokemon cheered and Caden ran up to her and hugged her. Once Entei could think coherently he asked " What happened to the woman who stole my star?". Ho looked at him "It's a long story."
