Yet another show I miss watching, and not only that, but it was the show that shown that combining unrelated mecha will work arguably BEFORE TTGL did.

Hmm i'm not sure what the overall plot should be, but I think the sub plot and general game play should involve choosing missions, and getting gold and experience for completing them. I'm thinking something in the rhelm of final fantasy tactics, the more missons you do, the more advance ones you unlock, and you also advance more of the story.
Another idea is to read some of the character bios we have laying around to get some inspiration (not copying just for brainstorming purposes). Some of them are quite well thought out and well written.

you should have mentioned wielder that the sprite builder program that you use is not gonna be exact. Wielder will do his best to match your avatar, but it only has so much ^^;

Here you go.. Yup. My avi is near always dressed as my RPC. And is dressed how he should be represented. Though, do not forget the two short swords across the back and the gun holster actually has a gun.

RPG Maker XP? Me and my friend have a registered version of this. Now if only we had a working computer between us, this was gonna be our next project after we finished our Medieval game. (As if that would ever happen)
Well, since you ask for a plotline... I need a day or two to think of one....
Also, Doomshot. Xeg isn't part demon, he's merely an unwilling dimensional traveler from another world. And he's also one of the few League character's that are actually not a Teenager or 100+ years old.
As for deities... I had Paragon as a character back in Revres, but now that it's reset I'll have to find some other use for him.
Also, for Xeg's Appearance... (pokes card in siggy)

Aye, a lot of our characters are on the young side. Although for my character I just like personally never revealing his age and making others guess. I now have the RPG Maker VX too, so I'll try to see if I can help with resources once I learn the nuances of this.
I wonder how many league characters are human and above twenty five.

I just had image of for the tutorials he has to fight one of us. For instance, I'll be good for melee and guns while Kaneharo would introduce magic. Essentially for each major command have them fight the member who is best suited for teaching it, with the member giving tips and hints to the young newbie during battle.
Advice: See this sword? Don't get hit by it, it will kill you.

Eh, just use this avatar. I wont be changing it anytime soon. Just a long sword instead of the rapier. Strifer isn't too young. I think I made him 20 something. It's unrealistic for the things I've had him do though.
Edit: I don't really know what I could teach, or give advice on though. All I gots is swordsmanship and that weird magic, ki, power, I don't even know what to call it, thing. I guess my fighting style is odd, but thats because I make it up as I go on.

Don't we all, Strifer? I have an idea for how a tutorial should work now.
The PC will have to try sample battles against three of the League's finest, each of them skilled in one of the arts of combat, melee, magic, or technology. The people will also list the plusses and minuses of each class. (I.E., what they're strong, weak against, how easy you will be to squish.) So, the triangle is Melee---->Magic---->Tech---->Melee.
Magic is that you're really squishy, but you have the capability to deal more damage (provided you still have mana). Kaneharo exemplifies this the best.
Melee is really tough and can wear heavier armor, and they do moderate amounts of damage. (Maybe two types? Warrior(tank) and Swordsman(damage)?) I'd say Wielder might be teaching this, but I think the VC's and Captain would be doing important League work other than teaching the new recruits. Possibly Doomshot then.
Technology would be Moderate Toughness and Damage, and you'd be using more advanced weaponry (maybe you'd have to make it? Reagents and stuff.) Gear would obviously be teaching this since he's crew again.
After the sample battle, you wandr around and can talk to the other recruits. One of them triggers an event that makes a dude want to fight you. A rival throughout the game or summat. Depending on which class you pick, the Rival picked the upper class from yours. (I.E., if you picked Magic, he picked melee, so on so forth)
