Feeling Yuki flinch Ixen looked down to see his mate press into his side. Was this really it? Would they have to give up so easily just because of a little biological factor?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Ixen's mind screamed. There had to be a way for two males to have kits. Ixen stopped and carefully thought over the situation. None of the herbs found on Cruor land would give males the ability to mate and produce kits, but still he had heard of other lands that might.. That's not necessarily true Yuki... Ixen didn't want to get Yuki's hopes up but there was a plan forming in his mind.. Yuki might not like it though. It might not even work.

Yuki turned his head, tilting his head. He had heard of males having kits, but it must be a rumor. He had heard stories of water that could... No. That was a kits tale. He also heard that there were two Elders of some tribe that were male and had kits. But this was also a tale, right? He did not know how this would happen, or even which one of them would be the one who were going to... do the birth thing. In fact, he wouldn't mind if he was the one... No! This couldn't be. "It is. How would we have kits?"

Well Yuki.. I’ve heard stories about other foxes that are male pairings and they have had kits. This was caused by either eating or drinking something. Sadly the tribe lands don’t contain the herbs or magical water for such a thing. At least they don’t to my knowledge. .. but IF such things exist there is one way to find them. Ixen held his breath for a moment. Should he even tell Yuki such a reckless plan? If it works they would have kits, but it might not; and there was still the issue of the price.
Ixen spoke slowly and clearly giving importance to each word Yuki what I have in mind might not work, but there would be a price to pay anyway for the information. It could be dangerous; not only to us, but to any kits we could have if the plan worked out. Do you me to tell you about my plan?

Yuki listened to Ixen intently. He knew there would be a price, but what? Surely Sin would encourage them to have kits? The first litter of the tribe. Oh, what an honor. What price would there be for such an event? Cruor loved kits. Ixen and Yuki wanted kits it seemed. Hardly anything could hurt them now, right? Wasn't the saying nothing could hurt someone when they were with another? He nodded solemnly at Ixen, accepting the terms.
"Dangerous or not, I want kits. More than anything." He said softly, carefully choosing his words. It was true, he wanted soft fur balls curled into his side at night. Little babies resembling him and his mate, and later full grown adults that belong to them.
Could he possibly have these wishes in flesh and blood?
"Please tell me."

We could go to the Shade beast and ask it where to find the herb or water and then go find it ourselves. The Shade beast will make us pay a price for this information though. The price varies from deal to deal though so there is no telling what it could ask. It could be as simple as a sacrifice or as drastic and forcing one of the kits to leave the lands and one stay. You never know with the Shade beast so few would go and ask anything of it lightly. Ixen looked at Yuki.
When I was a kit, I was lost. Sin found me and lead me to the Shade beast. I don't even remember most of it, but I do remember it's red eyes staring out at me. I wanted a family and the Shade beast filled my head with information so that I would be of more use to Sin. From there I went to Sin and he continued to raise me. I-i know that only the tribe leader and the shaman are suppose to be able to bother the Shade beast, but I feel like it will listen to our plea because it knows me and marked me for this tribe here on it's land. I think it's partial to tribe members and more likely to listen to them. Since you are a tribe member and my mate, it might, it might help us. Ixen wanted Yuki to know that this wasn't something he took lightly.

As far as he knew, communication to the beast was only allowed by Sin. Sin could only speak to the beast. So why did Ixen remember what he looked like? Did Sin have special rules for Ixen? He could remember Sin telling Yuki that any interactions with the beast was forbidden by everyone except by Sin. He looked at Ixen with narrowed eyes, shaking his head. He couldn't, they would get in trouble.
'Not if Sin ask's.'
Yuki raised his head as his conscience spoke up. For once, it was helping. 'If you ask permission Sin can speak to the beast for you two.' He knew Sin would do this for him. Right? He turned to glance at Ixen, clearing his throat. "If Sin spoke for us I believe maybe it will help us. I heard the beast is rather bendable when it comes to Sin."

(Sorry I went off Ixen story as to how he got into Cruor and the fact Odi spoke to the shade beast at some point in an RP, was that wrong? also. I like Ixen's imagination.)
Ixen's eye started twitching as he imagined the scene and the conversation shortly before Sin pounced on him and started ripping him to shreds. Hello father, my mate and I want to have kits and we want you to talk to the Shade beast for us, will you help me have kits with you beloved little brother.
Sure? Ixen couldn't deny Yuki this even though it would probably mean Ixen's head in the end. Ixen attempted to control his eye spasms as he got up. OK, we need to find Sin. Was he still at the celebration when you left?

((Ebil made a mistake about speaking to the beast I had to fix, so Odi never did. I had to talk to Ebil about that. Lol.))
Yuki nodded gently in response. He did not see Sin harming Ixen like the other did, but then again maybe he didn't really understand Sin's affection for him. He wanted kits, and all he knew was that Ixen had found a way to try and indulge this desire he had. Sin was at the celebration last time he remembered, hopefully the fox would not reject their idea. Surely he wouldn't. Then again, Sin was a fox most could not define easily. He had his moments.

Ixen sighed. This was going to be a 'fun' talk, Ixen just knew it. Alright lets go speak with Sin. Ixen got up and started headed back toward the pond. If he was lucky Sin would be on the outskirts of the area and they would be able to speak with Sin quickly and quitely without getting the whole tribe involved. His tail was hanging low behind him as he went.
How was he supposed to even ask Sin about having kits with Yuki? Ixen blanched at his lack of answers and ocean of questions.

"W-wait!" Yuki moved closer to Ixen, deciding to slip in front of him. He wasn't ready yet. He was scared, and he needed to think things through. And, he had something to tell Ixen. Another stupid leap of fate, but still, he had something to say. The fox buried his claws into the ground, shyly glancing about before focusing on Ixen. The last thing he wanted was for him to judge him, but still....

Ixen stopped short feeling very off balance. Yuki what's wrong? Ixen looked at his mate very worried. Ixen looked and noticed that the gray fox was digging his claws into the dirt. Yuki looked like he had something important to say. Ixen shifted into a position so that he was facing Yuki and giving him the most direct attention possible. What do you want to say Yuki? You know you can tell me anything. Ixen smiled softly at Yuki trying to ease his mate. It didn't really matter what Yuki said, Ixen loved Yuki and would always listen.

Yuki didn't respond to the smile, instead looking away yet again. He wanted to voice his feelings toward Ixen. He wanted to discuss how he felt, to figure out these feelings he had been convinced were wrong. He didn't know the word for it. No, he did. He knew the word. He had never spoken it before, but now that was all he wanted. This shy male wanted someone to say this to, he wanted a stable life. He was at the age of wanting to start a family, to have people he cared for. He had Sin, but this was different. If he had to choose between Sin and Ixen, one could only wonder who he would pick. He himself didn't know who he would pick.
He turned his head slowly, focusing his violet eyes on Ixen. The male looked petrified, scared as his mouth formed the words. "I love you." His voice faded at the middle word, barely a squeak, but he meant it.

Ixen didn’t laugh; he could see how hard this was for Yuki to say. The poor fox looked like he was choking on a lemon as he was saying the words. Ixen wrapped his front paws around Yuki’s shoulders, which was a little awkward from the angle he was sitting at, and kissed him full on the mouth. As he drew back his voice was full of warmth. I thought that I would have to wait years before I heard you say that to me. I love you too Yuki.
Ixen leaned forward once more but rather then kissing Yuki again he instead rubbed his cheek next to Yuki. His eyes were brimming with tears and one or two happened to escape and roll down his cheek. He had known that Yuki loved him, but to actually hear his mate say it. Well that was a whole different story. Ixen was so happy all thoughts of the troubles that could happen when they talked to Sin flew out of Ixen’s head. There was nothing more important in the whole world at that moment then the fox in front of him, and the words his mate had just spoken.

Yuki blushed as he was kissed, letting out a tiny meep as he was surprised by the other. The male squeezed out a smile, his heart hammering against his chest. Ixen loved him? He was loved? Someone loved him? He couldn't help the joy and surprise that rushed through him, or how his body was overwhelmed. He was loved, such a strange and wonderful feeling.
The male wagged his tail, nuzzling Ixen as his dropped his guard, allowing the feelings of happiness be expressed. The grey male was loved!

Ixen wrapped his tail around his mate. He whispered endearments to Yuki quitely not really knowing if Yuki could hear them, since they were muffled by the gray fox's fur.
After a time he released Yuki and leaned back to give Yuki some space. So what do we do from here? Go pester Sin? Or try to find a bit about the plant or water out on our own? We could do either really.
