Swiveling her head to the right, the white fur of her constant visitor entered her field of vision. “Kedamono-san, do you have to slurp so loudly on my windowsill, you may well scare off some of my customers.” Chiding sweetly at the ‘cat-man’, she unfolded her legs and was just about to get up to scratch his fuzzy kitty ears when he bristled and hissed, as if rabid. Turning with him, she laid eyes on one of the biggest men she’d ever seen, minus the guardians of the four outer gates.

About to stand again, and she was blocked by Hisaki’s now human form, and staring out from behind his legs and the man, apparently known as Zebediah. Her kitty companion had been becoming possessive as of late, and it had begun grating at her nerves. At least, until she knocked her arm with a procise thrust into the back of his knee, moving from behind him and wresting an arm from his side and twisting. Skillfully, she flipped him mid motion so that his face was now on the floor, and his arm was held along her leg, torqued just enough to keep him from getting up. “Kedamono-san, that is not how we great guests. Ever.” Being curt was never Tsubame’s style, she spoke eloquently and preferred to keep fighting to a minimum, as she’d just demonstrated.

“Flamstel-san,” she began, turning enough to see the gargantuan man, “I had heard that there was a new Fukutaicho, recently added to the Twefth Division…but I hadn’t expected a visit quite this soon. Usually, one has to have ripped apart an entire shihakushou before coming to me.” Smiling, her multicolored eyes shone with the same happy light. “Please, come and make yourself at home, I have tea brewing in the back.” Gently releasing Hisaki’s arm, her fingers trailed through his hair once before straightening and making her way to the back room, intent on procuring her offered tea.

"Why thank you, thank you." Zebediah said smartly as he reached into his sleeve and removed a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream and opened it "Neko-san, I know you like your sweets and your alcohol. So I present you with a peace offering; no sharpening your claws on my my leg, and everytime I come here, you get another bottle of Irish Cream. Deal?" Zeb smiled warmly as he placed the bottle next to the Nekotama "The main reason that I come today... is that I'm down to my last kosode, boxing shorts, and sleeves..." He said "I have a bad habit of picking fights I can't win. Like Arrancar without a shikai, bar fights, and random brawls in the Rukon..." He scratched the back of his head "Between getting torn, burnt, soaked in different types of alcohol, or just having all of the material getting embedded with dirt and muck... " Zeb watched as Tsubame moved, the effortless movements smooth and practiced, with subtle hints of highly dense muscle mass under her own garments.

"So I've come to get half a dozen more." Zeb sighed as he looked down "Of each garment I wear." he looked at himself in a mirror by crouching down a little bit. Staring at himself he was not too displeased, yes he was a bit dirty from morning training, but all-in-all, he was rather clean. "You can make them, correct? The kosode, boxing shorts, and my sleeves?"

Little Kitty....

Leaping to his feet with a quick twist of his waist and legs. Saki shot a death glare at the large man with the bottle of sweet smelling liquor.
"Remember that bit about picking fights y'can't win there blockhead. Step across that line I mentioned earlier and I'll flay you." He flashed fangs again, then turned, following Tsubame to the door of the backroom, where he leaned against the frame, and continuing to glare at the man called 'Flamstel', and ignoring the offering of alcohol. He allowed Tsubame to fling him around abit at her leisure, mostly because he didn't particularly see any harm in it. Anyone else would have their insides torn out for laying a hand on him, but when she was concerned, he didn't really care what she did. The woman had a strange effect on him, taming of a kitty cat was never an easy thing to do.

Tsubame’s sinuous length of hair bobbed cheerfully in her wake, and she remained unaware of Hisaki’s threats as she busily bustled to the small kitchenette area behind her work space. A few clanks of cups here, the sound of water pouring there and she was padding back, a gentle smile pulling across her lips while bypassing the nekomata and making her way behind her low lying desk. Settling the tray with three piping cups on the wooden surface, her tiny hand patted the desk to invite Zebediah to sit and enjoy. Before she began speaking, Tsubame made it a point to acquire her own cup and sat back slightly, both hands warming on the ceramic stoneware.

“Flamstel-san, I will have no trouble replicating your current attire. I may need to take a few simple measurements to gauge a correct hakama size for you though.” Taking a small sip of her tea, the little Vice Captain returned to holding the drink just above her lap, finding the liquid to be ever so slight to hot for her taste. “However, are there any specifications on the fabrics or what you’d like the fabrics to be able to withstand on a regular basis. I do have a reputation for creating fire proof clothing, and I’m sure that I can experiment and find other proofing methods if you so desire.”

"Flame resistant would be good for me..." He spoke as he sat down, his legs slightly raised in the chair. Reaching for the cup that was closest to him, he watched the diminutive woman sip her tea. Remembering the table manners that his Master had litterally beaten into him, he reached towards the cup closest to him, and sipped softly, and without a sound. "Although easy to clean would also be nice. As would a material that is fairly durable." Zeb spoke his words softly "I would also like to request 3 black kosode for myself to wear when I go Hueco Mundo... That place is a bit too cold for my tastes."

"But besides that... The sleeves need to have pockets in them, and quite durable... And a bit too long. I'm planning on having a few toys made out of Soul Steel attached to my arms." Smiling softly at his fellow vice captain, Zebediah asked "Any other questions Tsubame-san?"

Little Kitty....

Shooting a final withering glare at the 'intruder', Saki moved to sit next to Tsubame, his tail twitching out in a sinewy mass that expanded into the two halves, one twirling around his tea cup, and bringing it to his waiting hand, and the other brushing across Tsubame's cheek, moving some of her hair behind her ears before curling around her arm. After taking a slow, remarkably polite sip, he followed suit, curling up against the small woman and moving his gaze from Flamstel for a single second, his lips brushing against Tsubame's in a tender kiss, followed by an inaudible whisper to her ear.
"Sorry f'r growlin' at t'newbie, I don't much like intruders. They aren't shiny one bit." The words were barely above an exhaled breath, so only Tsubame would hear them. Afterwards, he stretched languidly against her shoulder, yawning slightly and taking a sip of his tea once again.

“Luckily, Flamstel-san, the filaments that are used to create a flame resistant garment are also highly durable. They will resist blades, but blunt force is another issue entirely. As for cleaning, there are ways to treat the fabric after it has been woven, or in the process that will add a repellent quality. Water, grim…and most likely, blood will roll off the fabric before ever staining.” Offering a reassuring smile, Tsubame flicked her eyes to Hisaki, his tail brushing across her cheek a minor distraction.

Trying yet another sip of tea, the burn from before had lessened to a tolerable level, and she continued for a moment, noting the nekomata’s tail about her left arm. “The only other questions I have Flamstel-san, is the colors and patterning that you would like. I have already noted the particulars of what you are currently dressed in. However, are there any specifications you would like to make, towards the matter, before I begin?” Tsubame just managed to finish her line of questioning before Hisaki made use of her side, curling about her, his arm holding him to her before he kissed her. The actions stunned the little Vice Captain, leaving her sputtering in the presence of a colleague, her face going from a healthy tan to distinctive beet red.

‘Always the bridesmaid, never the bride,’ the phrase worked well in Tsubame’s past relations. She was, to small, to gentle, to delicate for the men that had expressed interest, even in passing during her life in the Rukongai. Not once had she been kissed, and this was definitely not the time for the nekomata to perch on her shoulder.

Little Kitty....

Saki's teeth curled upwards in a playful smile at Tsubame's noted discomfort. That was a mild payback for being tossed to the floor in front of an intruder. He may not have minded, but being disrespected thusly had at least ground against his pride. Also.. he had been wanting to kiss her for some time, and his kitty sensibilities tended towards hedonism.
Despite this, he felt a little bad for making her so embarrassed.. hedonistic he may be, but he wasn't altogether cruel. Quickly shifting into the form of a house cat, setting his tea on the floor before hand, he curled up into a small ball at her side, lapping contentedly at the cup of warm liquid. His tail brushed gently against her side, trying to convey at least some small sense of comfort.

At the sight of the kiss, Zebediah's anger, and reiatsu rose. Trying to excuse the small sign of affection, and brush it off, he was unable to completly wipe it. Damnit... Beaten by a cat... A friggin' cat... He thought to himself as he tightly clenched his fist.

"I would like it in the same colors and patterns... I enjoy the clothing that my master gave me when I left the Valley. They remind me slightly of home." Zeb smiled blankly at the woman. Draining the cup of tea in another swift gulp, he wiped the edges of the glass with his fingers, and placed it upside down on the desk; not a drop remained, and it was done cleanly, and without too much notice. "And thank you for the tea... It was mildly calming..." He voiced his words without a trace of emotion. I'll gut that ******** nekotama... Stealing a kiss from Tsubame-san's lips... And creating awkwardness to her near perfect grace...

His blood boiling, he stood up slowly, his eyes flickering back and forth from his peer and the cat. "I would like to do the measurements, if it's alright... I have battles to prepare for, and orders to fill in my forge..." Zeb said softly as he bowed towards Tsubame. "And thank you for wasting your time on making me new clothing when you have other things to take care of." He stared at the nekotama for this small bit of his speech, emphasizing the relationship that he assumed was going on.

Stuck in place for a time, Tsubame was incredibly grateful that Hisaki returned to his cat form, relieving her anxiety to a minor degree. Even intensely flustered, the stiff and emotionless formality that Zebediah used to address her final line of questioning, imprinted on her mind. Sitting straighter, she nodded once to the other Vice Captain, swallowing the hard lump of embarrassment and affront to her modesty before speaking. "U-under stood, Flamstel-san." Voice quivering uncomfortably, she continued. "I will keep the same design and add what we have...discussed. Send a Jigokuchou with the measurements when you are ready. I w-will start as soon as they arrive."

Finished, Tsubame stood, the motion almost unnatural in a sense, considering that it seemed as though she was lifted by strings and scooped up Zebediah's used cup. With a short, but perfectly polite bow, Tsubame trotted into her back room, dismissing his presence and creating distance between her and the kitty that had just kissed her. For her, she wasn't sure what to think, other then that breach in conduct was nothing she had expected to happen while conducting business. Tsubame thought of the cat-man as a new acquaintance, one that was curious...not amorous.

Little Kitty....

Recognizing the anger in the large man as he left, Hisaki's small feline face curled up in what could be interpreted as a smile. A part of being an animal was the ability to smell emotions, and he could sense every bit of frustration and anger coming off of the hulking monolith. No matter, Tsubame was his, and he wasn't going to stand by while someone tried to hit on her. No way, no how. Finishing his tea with a few quick laps, he stretched lazily and stood, meandering after Tsubame into the back room, where he shifted back into his human form, and leaned against the doorway.
"M'sorry if that little kiss back there weirded y'out, Tsuby-chan." He said softly, with a hint of playfulness behind his voice, as per the usual. "Big brutish types trying to buddy up to you isn't exactly something I can sit by and ignore.." He trailed off, realizing that he had never actually spoken with the woman about his feelings.

Tomoya
Vice-Captain Challenge
Fourth Division
Post [1/2]

Eight Squads to go Tomoya thought as he carried a package full of silk that was meant for Squads Six's Silk Shop. That wasn't the only package behind him in a wagon he was pulling was even more boxes filled with supplies and items all meant for the Silk Shop. It seemed whoever was supposed to deliver the packages had conveniently disappeared which meant someone else had to deliver them. That someone else just happened to be Tomoya. Though to be honest it wasn't all that bad as it did count as maintenance , and it gave Tomoya a break from cleaning.

Walking into the store Tomoya gave a small cough to bring the attention of the Shop owner over to him. To be honest while this job was a break it also was a chore as it involved Tomoya having to interact with Strangers, something he dearly hated to do. Still if he didn't get used to interacting with strangers he would never be good at being a vice captain. So all in all Tomoya could deal with this job though he still didn't have to enjoying interacting with strangers.

Tomoya
Vice-Captain Challenge
Fourth Division
Post [2/2]

Stacking up all of the boxes off to the side in sight of the owner Tomoya decided that he should leave. Seeing how no one was paying him any attention that was more the likely the right choice. Grabbing the wagon he stepped out of the shop in the direction of Squad Seven his next destination. While he was on the path towards the squad he heard the sound of crying. From the sound of the cry Tomoya could tell it was a girl , and that she was very close. Continuing down the path Tomoya soon so the silhouette of the girl. The closer he got the clearer he could see her till he could describe her features down to the small point. She was pretty and, petite with pale skin .long wavy brown hair, and crystal blue eyes that were filled with tears.

"That stupid jerk why did he have to dump right after valentines day." The girl said in between tears as she beat the ground with her fists in anger. Tomoya just stood there as a idea formed in is mind. Tomoya wasn't one to get mixed into others people drama as he had enough deal with when it came to his own drama but, maybe just this once he could make an exceptions. Rummaging through Mr.Teddy he pulled out a fresh rose one of his many female admires had given from his own squad not to mention all the ones he got from guys thinking he was a girl.

Tapping the girl on the shoulder Tomoya held out the rose a very shy look on his face as he blushed. "Hey what do you want can't you see I am bus..... wait is that for me thank you."The girl said fist irritated but then happy as she gave Tomoya a hug and kisses him on the cheek. The kiss completely sent Tomoya's shyness into over drive as his entire face turned cherry red. "Thanks again that was just what I need."She said as she let go over Tomoya wiping off her tears before heading back to her own squad. Even after the girl left Tomoya stood there in shock for a long while until he finally snapped out of it and, started heading for Squad Seven again.

Dusk has settled late in the evening, later then normal, allowing the Vice Captain to make his way towards a popular apparel shop within the Sereitei. "Who would have thought?" He pondered as he pushed the door to the little shed open. His reiatsu was still fluctuating from earlier that day but then again how could it not be? It wasn't everyday that you sat down with someone like Aine. "Ma'am?" He called as he turned his head from side to side in search of the head seamstress. He was going to be damned if he let someone but the best make clothing for him. Having stood around for a few minutes without response Lerato began to leave, stopping only to examine a door at the back of the shop that shed a sliver of light. "Takanashi Tsubame." He called out, eyes falling on the famed seamstress to the right of a stack cloth. "I have a special request of you." Some would call the Vice Captain rude, but he chose the term 'forward' instead. This was a business after all, and the girl would be paid handsomely for her work. "I require two outfits; an on-duty uniform, and a more casual set for day to day business." The Grecian man lifted his eyes from the girl and continued while looking around at her materials, "The on-duty uniform will be a modified shihakushou: black hakama trimmed with either a deep sapphire blue or a navy blue, a black sleeveless kosode trimmed in the same blue. I want it styled as a long vest, and yes I'm aware this will mean it will need to be left untucked. I want the obi to match the trim of the shihakushou with the waraji dyed black. To finish the uniform I'll need two pairs of fundoshi following the same theme." After rambling the items on his first list off he glanced over at Tsubame to make sure she was getting everything. "Oh!" He called as if just remembering. "I'll need a pair of fingerless gloves as well. Have fun with their design, just keep the same motif if you will."

"Off-duty will be a bit more simplistic. I want a pair of black low riding pants with blue threads to stitch the seams, a long blue and black vest -about mid thigh in length- cut at a slight forward slant. Lastly, and I'm not sure if you'll be able to get your hands on this or not, but I need a black watch with a sapphire face." Straightening his back he returned his attention to the little woman and silently admired her flawless tanned skin. 'I wonder where she's from originally...' Normally he could place peoples place of birth within the World of the Living rather easily, but the gentleness of her features of throwing him off. "I have one more request. I've heard through the grapevine that you have a knack for making specialty clothing... If you could, I would like you to try and make both outfits electrically insulated. All but the gloves, anyway. The gloves I want to be highly conductive." He finished with a sly smirk on his face as he thought about all the possibilities.

Engrossed in her task of documenting a new shipment of inexpensive cottons, Tsubame let out a yip and turned stiffly towards the source of the disturbance, eyes wild and wide. Almost immediately her face flushed a healthy rose and she groped at the floor by her feet for the pen she’d dropped when startled. Once she had the offending device in hand, she turned to Lerato her eyes carefully trained on his mouth as she tried, but failed to say anything useful. Finally after a good solid minute of floundering, Tsubame found her voice. “T-that shouldn’t be too hard arrange.” She did well in only having a momentary waver, “but I’m afraid I don’t have access to any watches at this time.”

Having saved at least some face, the little Shinigami bowed politely to the Grecian man before she continued, if not awkwardly. “Won’t you sit; I’ll need measurements before I can begin.” A small hand indicated the back table in the work room, one draped with bits and pieces of fabrics on one end and bare on the other. Bustling away, Tsubame’s breath hissed out in mild distress. Not only had she been snuck up on, now she had a half-naked man, presumably acquainted with Fefnir, her forever return customer, and her modesty issue were not making dealing with him any easier. No matter, slapping on a courteous smile, she set a kettle to boil for tea at the back kitchenette and returned her attention to Lerato. She would just have to get him dressed quickly. “Just your luck,” she chimed lightly, “as I’ve had so many requests for proofed clothing, I happen to have a number of non-conductive and insulating fabrics. Mostly mixtures of glass threads, nylon, PVC and polyester…some of which are quite soft and very light, and I have one type of conductive material. Why don’t I start with the gloves right now and have them finished in just a few minutes?” Stepping away from the heat pad she kept her eyes carefully trained on the floor as she made her way to a large wall of suspended thread bindles. Selecting the black and deep sapphire dyed plate silver threading, both easily over twenty pounds each.

Again motioning for Lerato to take the chair at the cleared end of the table, she set the two bindles atop the surface, carefully taking the time to locate the ends of the threading and picking one out with each hand. “Now, I’ll need you to hold out your hands. I’m going to directly weave the gloves over your hands, it will take less time.” Lifting her hands , Tsubame waited for Lerato to initiate the contact.

“I’m sorry, I never inquired as to your name.” Finding her mistake, the blush intensified when she glanced at his icy eyes.
