Sheridan Sheridan slowly walked through the castle, with no real destination in mind. She looked about at the few tapestries that hung from the wall and smiled a little at the memory of her talking her father into hanging them there. It had taken her months when she was younger to get him to put a few things in the castle for her, like her garden that was right outside of the castle. She loved her father and was glad he had taken her in all those years ago instead of turning her out like her birth parents had. Speaking to herself as she continued on her way she walked towards her fathers room."What was so wrong about me that made them leave me to die? Was it because I looked nothing like them and the other villagers? What was it?"Those questions still haunted her, the wondering why she had been left to die at the age of four. She continued on her way towards her father's rooms and when she reached his door she knocked lightly, opening it up a little to speak into the room."Father? Are you in here? May I come in and visit with you?"She stood outside the door with it slightly ajar and waited for an answer from her father before she thought about entering his room.

Mina Mina sat quietly in the library reading a book with a glass of sweetened black tea by the chair she was in. She grabbed the cup occasionally and sipped from the glass and would look about occasionally as well, to make sure none of the royal family entered. If the did she already knew that she would get out of her chair grab her glass of tea and her book and leave the room and walk to her own bedroom.Mina didn't enjoy not being able to share the house like all the others, but she had learned at a young age not to get in the way of any of the royal family other then Selene, the youngest of the King and Queen's children. She use to enjoy dearly the time she spent with Selene, them playing games when they were younger and just talking with each other. That enjoyment all ended one evening when Selene got hurt while her and Mina had been running around playing a game. Mina being adept at healing started to try and heal Selene, to stop the blood flow, but before she could a guard had seen her next to Selene with blood on her hands and had grabbed her away. She had screamed and cried, begging him to let her heal Selene, but all that got her was a harsher beating by none other then the King himself. After that Mina would avoid Selene, not wanting to get beaten and locked in her room until the wounds healed. She still held scars on her back from the beating but no one ever saw them, no one knew of them but the King, the guards that had been in her room, and of course herself. Mina slowly had started to draw into herself, hid her emotions and feelings and pretend like she didn't care what the royal family thought of her. But inside, every time they looked down on her she wept, wept for the life she wanted, a life she would never have.Mina closed her book quietly and wiped at the few tears that had slipped from her eyes and looked about, glad that no one was in the room with her. After closing her book and drinking the last of her tea she stood and gathered her things and left the library to go to her room. As she entered her room she placed her bag and book on the table next to her bed and moved to sit on the sill and look out the window.

Selene
Selene was walking down the hallway and humming quietly to herself when she saw Mina walk out. She smiled and started to call towards her sister, but then, she was already out of earshot and Selene knew that Mina wouldn't hear her. Selene sighed and entered the library, curling up in a chair with a book in her arms. She didn't know why, but she was dischordant. Something in her heart told her that she was not supposed to be standing idley by while King Darian plagued her people. Slowly opening the book in her arms, Selene started to read it again, the prophecy of the warrior who was supposed to save her people. The warrior wasn't specified as male of female, but as Selene closed her eyes, she imagined the warrior a male, someone who would be able to help her people, and someone who would hold someone close.
Selene smiled as she thought of what Mina would say to such a silly fantasy. Of course, Selene didn't want someone for herself, never! Although it might be nice in a way, Selene wanted someone for her beloved sister, Mina. Selene smiled again and started humming to herself as she flipped through the pages, wondering why they had seemed to familiar to that day's happenings, and even the ones before. She had read the book so many times that she knew this wasn't jsut hindsight, going back and reading. She knew that when she was young, after she had found the book on her own when Mina had been ill those few days after Selene had gotten hurt, she had read this book, and every one of the prophecies within it had stuck deep inside her small little mind.
Selene stood, a determined look on her face. She put the book back and went to her room, starting to put on her fitted armour. She had already sent her maids away for the day, and so no one would question what she was doing. She tied her long hair back into a ponytail and then quickly threw a ladder out the window, the rope kind. She grabbed her quiver and bow from her closet, as well as her sword. She made sure her quiver was well stocked with arrows, then quickly and silently made her way down the ladder and out onto the palace grounds. She spread her wings and flew a good distance, til she was sure that she would not be found by anone at the palace, then she set down and started off on foot.
Her parents hadn't sent anyone out to find this warrior and she knew that the kingdom would come to ruin and her people would die if the warrior was not found. She wanted to have this grand adventure for herself, and she knew that she needed to work hard to make sure that she found the warrior. Selene sighed as she looked up at the sky. She didn't know where to begin, but knew that she had to start and she had to find him or her, whomever it may be.
"For my people," she said to herself softly and then started forward again, starting towards a place that she knew would help her begin her search, the Oracle upon the seacoast.

Linda
Linda stared straight ahead as the wind whipped through the chill trees of the dead landscape. She was finally back at King Darian's castle, and she needed to make a report. There was nothing to report. No warrior, and the Oracle would not talk to her, the brat refused. Little merfairie wench! Linda smiled ferally as she thought of the long bout of healing that the Oracle now just decided to take, and Linda's hands flexed in memory of the little merfairie's neck in them, her skin still beneath Linda's nails. Linda's smile grew and then she wiped it from her face, looking cruel and cold again, not the insane blood letter that she had just revealed to the stark landscape. She clenched her fist and then banged on the dull grey wooden doors of the castle.
After a long moment, the doors creaked inwards and Linda stepped into the dark interior, then the doors closed again, once again blending in with the deadened land. Linda looked behind her and shrugged as the door thudded shut, and a muffled shuffling sound followed as the Undead who had been there expressly for that reason went back to their posts. The lanterns in the hallway flickered, keeping it lit enough that she didn't particularly need a light but wished that she had one. One never knew when the enemy was upon you, and even in the King's castle she had enemies aplenty. But she gave no more thought to the matter, stealing herself for the disasterous meeting that was about to take place. She made it down the hallway and took a turn, starting to make her way deep into the castle.
Linda finally made it through the mazes, avoiding the armies that had no intelligence, skirting around those who did, the intelligence burning deep in their sunken eyes giving her an eerie feeling, telling her that those were ones to be avoided at all costs. Sometimes she cursed herself for getting involved with this Master of the Undead, but then, he had treated her better than King Oberon upon the death of her family. Well, if she hadn't left behind evidence of the killer she probably would have gotten away with it. Chuckling silently to herself, she finally found herself in front of King Darian's throne room. She rose a fist and knocked on the door. As she waited for an answer, she reported as she stood there.
"Good afternoon King Darian, Linda reporting," she called, the military practice ingrained deep within her mind, and then she waited patiently for him to tell her to "Enter."

Mina As Mina sat on the window sill looking out on the land she sensed that Selene was up to no good. So instead of going to the King and Queen, because she knew if she did they both would get into trouble, her more then Selene, She opened her window and looked out. She tried to sense where Selene had gone off to. She saw a flash of Selene's wings before they vanished into the tree line."Where are you going to Selene? If your parents find out about this I will be blamed and punished for it."Mina gathered up a few items into her side bag and headed back to her window. She allowed her wings to un-tuck from her back and span out. She let herself float outside of her window, her wings flapping occasionally, as she closed it and then headed to where she had last seen Selene's wings. She then landed on the ground where she had seen Selene's wings and looked about, trying to sense where she was at."Where are you Selene, if you are bent on leaving at least let me come with you, to protect you."Mina finally was able to feel where Selene was at and started heading in that direction, hoping to catch up to her soon.

Selene
Selene paused in her long walk and fluttered her wings as she looked up at the moon. It was full and beautiful. She hadn't realized that she'd been walking for so long, but everything past the boundaries of her parents' land was new and fascinating, so she had had her attention taken up by so many more things that were much less mundane than the passing of the day. Selene sighed and sat down, unbuckling her breastplate and laying it on the ground, doing the same with the soft cloth that she'd put on underneath it to protect her body. She still had clothes on, but this was just so that she would be able to sleep for the night. There would be an inn in the next place she stopped, according to the map that she carried.
She yawned as she lay down, not even making a fire so that no one or nothing could find her. She looked up at the twinkling stars, the large moon, and she sighed agian. Why were her parents so dead set against this warrior? Selene turned over and rested her head against her softened breastplate, her hands free so that just in case, she would be able to grab her sword and defend herself. She let her breathing slow as she relaxed into sleep. Nothing could possibly get her out here! She smiled a little to herself and hummed a bit before stopping, letting her weariness consume her.

Mina Mina continued walking, heading in the direction that she sensed Selene was. Shortly after dark Mina stumbled upon Selene sleeping on the ground. As she walked she made noise and spoke softly so that Selene could hear her voice."Selene, Selene wake up, its Mina. Don't wake up and try to hurt me please."She walked over to where Selene was laying and sat down on a rock a few feet away from her, keeping her eyes on their surroundings, making sure no animals or other faeries or the undead stumbled upon them.((OOC: Sorry for the short post, brain is dead since I am trying to make posts for all the RPs in here lol...))

Selene
Selene awoke with a start, her hand on the hilt of her sword, but as she saw who it was, her face and posture relaxed, her face showing a smile in place of a tense frown.
"Hello Mina," she said softly. Then the frown lit her face again. "Mom and Dad haven't realized I'm gone yet, have they? I really don't want to go back. I need to find this person..." Selene sounded desolate, convinced of the fact that she was the one that needed to find the warrior. She sighed and lay back down, slowly falling asleep again. "Mina, let's talk tomorrow... I can't concentrate..." she said, her words slightly slurred from sleepiness. As she closed her eyes and fell asleep again, she seemed to be the picture of her namesake, the moon, beautiful and glowing with an inner beauty as well.
((Same here. I'm kinda braindead right now... >.<' ))

Mina Mina smiled lightly down at Selene, not taking the time to answer since she knew that Selene wouldn't remember anything she had said. So she just sat there, watching over Selene as she slept. She opened up her bag and pulled out a small bottle of water and sipped at it."What is she looking for? Is it that warrior that she use to talk about all the time when they were younger? The one she read about when I had been 'sick'?"Mina closed her eyes slightly as she leaned her back against the tree that was behind the rock. She rested what little time she could before her nightmares started to bother her and she woke up again. She looked to the moon, her eyes sparkling with the light in them.

Oni Biding his time Oni gave a soft sigh as he sat on top of the branch on one of the tallest trees in the forest. He had been ordered to go out into the world and seek some V.I.P. to kill or control or something; Oni hadn't been listening very well. 'This place is so dull...!' he said aloud with a moan, his voice echoing in the forest and into the sky. He dangled his one foot from the branch, trying to find some way to entertain himself. 'Stupid war and stupid missions...' he huffed childishly, his eyes scanning the castle not too far off in the distance.

Tell me that we belong together Dress it up with the trappings of loveMiron walked into the town. Looking around. He sighed, seeing all of his childhood memories before him... How long had it been? He didn't care to think on that topic. He was on his way to the castle... After so long away, it would be good to see how things had changed in this time... He knew they had to have changed... They had to... As he walked up the steps to the castle, he passed through the gardens... A couple of girls where there, but he didn't have much of a need to talk to them... Then again... it'd be nice to know... "Excuse me..." He said, walking up... one was on her way to sleeping... but the other might be able to answer his question. "Mam... If it's not much to ask... How acquainted with the laws of the kingdom are you? If you know them... Within the last century... Has there been a change to the law of equal loss?" It was an old law... so they might not even know what it was... but... Hopefully... I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above "Life is a waterfall, we're one in the river and one again after the falls..." Meiun was still being briefed by the king and queen... Things certainly had changed a lot since the pearl was last used. The last thing they did before they sent him off on his quest was to give him the pearl, strung to a leather cord, and tell him he could recruit anyone whom he thought he needed to the quest... to an extent... he could not make anyone of the royal family join him. Walking out, he saw a small group in the garden, and walked over. "Hail..." He began, looking at them. "I have been told by the king and queen to bring to chose some people who are not of the royal family to join me on my quest to find a way to defeat the undead hordes..." He looked at Miron, and said "You seem capable... That is... if you are willing..." "...Life is a waterfall, you drink from the river then you turn around and put up your walls" Tell me that we belong together Dress it up with the trappings of loveMiron blinked... They were already trying to give him a mission... and he hadn't even learned if the laws had changed so that he was even ABLE to live here? It was confusing... but... I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips Instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above Never gonna save me You just shut me out And now it's over cause I'm stepping out, again Walking up behind Sheridan, Athrius said "I don't know if he's in there... but I was told to find him... Since we're both looking for him, if he's not in there... how about we both go out to look for him?" He said this as if it were common sense to state it... Really... He just wanted any excuse to be near Sheridan... He had not been here for not very long... but he had already decided he liked her... She was a kind person, unlike his brother... He knew she wouldn't just let him die if she had the choice. Because of this... he hoped Darius was NOT in his throne room. Never gonna break me Just try and hold me down I will escape you and I'll push you closer to the ground Cause you're the one that's going down ((I wanted to give Sheridan someone to talk to...))
