Nikki put the ball among her others. She would take the time to get acquainted with her new Pokemon later. However, Nyx's invitation drew pause, a thoughtful frown on her face. There were many instances where she would usually just stick up her nose and refuse, but this was not one of them.

"Sure. I could use a drink too, actually. Come on Byakko."

"Vee?" The white Eevee tail wagged at Bunsen then followed along at Nikki's heels as they left the storage room.

"I'm surprised that you're so willing to talk to someone like me. I'm certainly not everyone's favorite agent." A somewhat snide remark, but nonetheless true. She wasn't stupid after all, and knew of most everyone's dislike of her.

She snorted at that, and tossed a lock of blonde hair over her shoulder. "I'm not sure if you're being nice or if you're just ignorant."

Nikki didn't care much about rumors, and also didn't care if people liked to stay away from her. It made her life less complicated and less filled with stupid people.

Lifting a brow, Nikki looked at Nyx incredulously, but then the corner of her mouth tilted up in a lopsided smirk. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind."

Now this was interesting. There were so few people that Nikki could have a semi-civil conversation with. Those few lately being only Hayes, and now this girl.

As they stood in front of the elevator, she pondered this for several moments. While her white Eevee squealed, playfully wrestling with Bunsen.

Nikki rolled her eyes at the speculation, but as she stepped into the elevator... she actually found herself pondering the question.

"Hmph. Plenty of girls fawn over my partner. So I would think its possible. I personally don't have a favorite elite, though." For one there wasn't many to choose from, and for another, she didn't know any of them very well.

She put out her good hand to hold the elevator door, making sure the Pokemon got in before they closed. Byakko bounded about the tiny room, never having been in an elevator before and perked her ears at the sounds and the vibrations it made as it moved.

Nikki's brows shot up at that. "My brother? Ha! Whatever made you think that?" It was a laughable notion, and it almost insulted her. To think that a geek like that would be related to her. She had no siblings anyway.

Byakko continued to explore the small box, eventually sitting at Nyx's feet to look up at her. Hey! That thing on this lady's head looked like her! "Vee!"

A snort immediately followed that statement. "Hardly. We may both be blondes, but we have very different shades."

As the elevator came to its destination though, Nikki exited along with Nyx. Byakko following quickly after and batting at Bunsen's tail as she went. It wasn't often she got a playmate. Nikki's other Eevee was a bit of a bully after all.

Nikki folded her arms and smirked in mild amusement. "Only this once," she conceded. Following Nyx into the cafe, she glanced at the menu briefly. Personally Nikki didn't spend this much time here.

"Hm. That doesn't sound quite healthy. I'm not much of a coffee drinker. The caffeine makes me... jittery."

Byakko chirped in delight as Bunsen went faster, inevitably resulting in a chase that sent them past peoples feet and under tables. "Byakko! Not in here." Nikki reprimanded, causing the white Eevee to stop and lower her ears in disappointment.
