From the reaction he got, Mchele figured that obviously this lion didn't think that was much fun. Admittedly it wasn't the most intellectually challenging game but he and Kijito had both enjoyed it. Why was Uumi so serious all the time? Maybe it's because he's a prince, Mchele thought. Pressures from the pride that completely overlooked the 'peasant' youngster.
However any thoughts on these pressures were dissipated when Uumi hissed at him. "Hey..." He started, frowning at his calling Kib an idiot. True, the white-pawed lion didn't think it was very smart leaving the pride, but he wouldn't insult his sister. The snap back quickly fell short though and Mchele laid his ears back against his head and his voice weakened. "Yeah she's leaving... or left the pridelands. She promised me she'd say goodbye before she went, but she goes out for days on her own or with mum. I'm not sure if she hasn't already just wandered off."

He snorted. Oh, well she obviously hadn't left with out saying goodbye to her only brother. Well if she was like Uumi she might not say goodbye after saying she would. But she wasn't, so that was that. "Hmph, I doubt she's gone." He finally said, turning around and stretching again.
He'd ignored they snappish 'hey' completely. Not only because Mchele seemed too nice to actually attack Uumi.. it was because Uumi had to ignore things like that incase the lion did want to attack him. Not responding to another's snappy or threatening words sometimes threw them off balance. Or at least, in Uumi's twisted mind they did.

Finding himself rushing away from the peaks, Ta'Ziyan was pouncing from one ledge to another, getting down from Pride Rock to entertain himself while Kami was out doing her classes. Every day she would spend time with her father, and he was left just entertaining himself for quite a few hours. Landing on a large ledge, his chest heaved from the pace he set as he just closed his clouding eyes, ears falling back.
Everytime he left, the nightmares would haunt him once more.
Shaking his head in anger, he tried to ignore the feeling of his fur standing on end as he opened his eyes, the shadows seeming to grow in his presence. It took only a second before he continued to rush away from the jagged shadows of the rocks, heading towards the two Juviniles below; One he would remember from his childhood and one he would have no idea about.
Finally landing on the rocky dirt, he raised his eyes through the light veil that was his mane to just blink at the other two, taking a moment to observe as something itched the back of his mind. Uumi looked quite familiar with his red pelt, at least Ta'Ziyan felt that way, and just like when he saw the shadows, the fur on the back of his neck started to stand on end one more.

His head snapped up at that comment. "Not gone yet? How can you be sure? She's so determined." He sighed again, flicking his tail in discomfort. "So determined to go off on her own. I tell her it's stupid, that she doesn't how to look after herself properly. Besides, what's the point? Everything you need is here. Food, water, shelter and family. I don't see the sense in leaving." He shook his head. No, he'd never leave, not even for a short while. Why the furtherest he'd ever been was the graveyard, but even that spooked him.
Hearing a soft thud behind him, Mchele turned to look and his ears perking up. With his thoughts on his sister he rather thought and hoped that it was her, but no it was another lion. Mchele blinked. This one he did not recognise and his glanced at Uumi to see if he knew him either.

(( Yup, I've no problem with that. I think this is pretty much an open rp for pridelander cubs/juves and others who hang about the area. ))

UUmi smirked. "Trust me, she isn't gone yet." She was too soft to leave with out saying goodbye, especially if she'd said she would. It was pathetic, really.
"Where is the adventure here? The answers, the strangers? Those are not here, and some lions need those things." He snapped, in a rather unconcious manner. That's what Uumi did. He snapped and gave smart-a** answers. "Some don't care about food, water or shelter." He would have included family in that, but he figured Mchele might have another fit of 'oh my sister won't say goodbye, wah-wah'.
His ears flicked and his crimson orbs dragged themselves over to the thud, narrowing at the other lion. Had he met him before? A brow arched. "Well?" He asked him. Ah, what a nice form of hello.

Catching the eyes of Mchele first, Ta found himself blinking as well before quickly adverting his gaze, heat covering as he felt the shyness sink in that seemed to always follow when not around his friends.
When Uumi said the last part, Ta found himself remembering the past and suddenly getting quite angry, "Many do care about food and water, that is how any lion survives...even in the Southlands there is enough food to at least survive off of, and enough watering holes to drink your fill..." Sure he had no right to jump in, but he found himself starring with a frown right back at him.
"And excuse me for interrupting..." He turned to look at Mchele again, "I just was going out as I waited for the Princess to finish her classes...." With that he moved to pad past the two.

Like a blood red shadow, Kiuma slipped from the rocks and slunk up to stand at her twin's back, her bright eyes gazing around the assembled lions with suspicion. For the moment, she chose not to say anything and meerly remained a solid prescence at Uumikaji's back. It was unusual to see her brother with other lions...

A tan female lurked quietly nearby, watching her siblings and others gathered together. Had she not the sense, she would have already asked if one or more of them wanted to play, but Rehani did usually play by herself. As they had all begun to grow older, she'd stayed more out of the way, unnoticed. She had yet to make friends with any of her siblings, and that gnawed gently at her mind. The green-eyed princess glanced at Uumi and Kiuma, wondering if she ought to move closer to them. The thought was banished. She didn't belong there.

Without an explaination of how he knew, Mchele just had to take Uumi's word for it. In truth it was mostly his over-active feeling of worry that made him suspect his sister had already gone. But even if she hadn't, she would soon.
As others began to make their way to the growing group, the honey-coloured juve sat up, eyeing Ta first and then glancing at the red twin coming up behing Uumi and the other tan-coated one not far away.
"There are? So it's not.. impossible to live out there?" He said in response to the rogue's comments. "I wouldn't want her to starve." He shook his head. "Hmm? Princess? Which one?" Although he had a clue as to which he refered to, only one of Mufasa's litter really had any proper classes.

Uumi's snarl grew on his lips as Ta began to speak, but his face slowly grew more calm as his ears flicked back. Kiuma. He was still laying down, the only one laying in the group. It was alright, it didn't bother him. "So then what are rogue scum like you doing in the pridelands, if there is everything you need to survive in the soughtlands?" He snarled, finally rising. His eyes narrowed and he snorted, eyes narrowing. How dare that little t**t turn his attention away from Uumi after such an outburst.
One of his sisters? He rolled his eyes slowly. He knew it wasn't Kiuma, that was a given. Now, which one of the others? His eyes flicked around, catching sight of his sister. His angry, crimson orbs caught the green gems of hers. And a brow slowly arched. "Apparently this is the carcuss that draws all the scavangers." An odd saying, if anything. Lions were not scavangers, only a tiny bit, and there was no carcus about.
Uumi slowly rose, stretching his body. He turned after a moment, gently biting Kiuma's chin in a playful, loving even, greeting. It was alright with just Mchele here, even if Uumi did not like him. But Gods, he hated morons.

Raising a brow back at Uumi, Ta smirked to himself as he sat down in a relaxed form, showing no fear to the same red lion that he had blown off ages before.
"Why should your opinion matter...you are only insignificant in this world...remember?" Starring at Uumi with his dark gaze, it showed a completle repeat of the coversation he remembered from their last encounter, when Uumi had acted like king of the lands as well. Turning his eyes away however, he starred at Kiuma with a slight grin, "Siblings right?" Leaving it as that, he continued to look around the group, his eyes brushing past the pale sister who seemed so alike his best friend, and than onto Mchele once again.
"There are quite a bit of issues, but like your friend put it, I am one of thoes 'rogues'...but take my word and my life for it, I survived, so it isn't impossible." Letting his words pause at that though, his copper eyes warmed lightly.
"She is...we always are together playing games and enjoying the life and freedom...she makes it easier, though of course nothing is easy, but she helps compared to what I faced earlier. Kami is the closest thing I think of when someone says friendship..."

Kiuma smirked and nipped at her twin's neck, batting at him with a gentle paw. Her smirk fell into a sneer as she turned to see the rogue that spoke so badly of her other half. "Insignificant? You must be truly ignorant, if you don't know that in the circle of life, everything is significant. Everything affects everything else in some way. Besides, he's a prince of the Pridelands, which makes him far more significant that some dirty, smelly, useless rogue."
She rolled her crimson eyes, sitting back on her haunches. "And if you can't tell we're siblings, what with our identical coloring, then you're worse off than I thought. Tell me, do you have a keeper who tells you how to relieve yourself? Or does it just happen naturally? You certainly don't seem to have the whits to figure it out on your own."
She eyed him, shifting to lean away from him before she spoke to her twin. "Do you suppose this lack of intelligence is contagious...? I'd hate to become stupid because I got too close to him..." She flicked her tail behind her, holding a paw over her nose as though it was a disease that might float through the air.
