Fairies and demons are real, fairies are real but probably not how we would picture them. Demons are definitely real, I do not know why you would use them in a sarcastic joke. God and Satan do exist.

Mr Crawley 1999 2000 2012.. Whenever the world is supposed to end... Really... what can you do about it? Nothing. Most people don't get to choose when and how they die. Just consider this another one of those times where you may not get to choose. This is probably the most meaningful statement I've read so far in this thread(Honestly I didn't read very far wink ). Not to stomp out all your huge speaches but if this is real, and this is our end, stop sitting around chatting on a Gaia guild thread for government scam. Go live out every day like it IS your last. Love your friends, your family, and make sure they know. I Personally plan to throw the hugest party on the entire earth the night of the 22nd of December (2012). Because my hubby's birthday is the day after. So screw you apocalypse! Ima party!! Another thing (Probably the reason I think this is just a rooster crowing in the middle of the night) Ever notice that the taxes and gas prices are rising? Yeah well, if the government EVER, EVER tells you "The end is coming, so we are raising the price of -" STOP THERE. They are pulling your tail so hard you won't even notice when it rips right off. Even if the statement ends with "For your better safety" Now being a part of the guild I'm almost positive you already know this, just by common sense. But my point is the fact that it is Biased. Have any of you here seen the documentary "The Nostradamus Effect" ? When speaking of Nostradamus's prophesies, they display them on your television in such a way that all words that embrace End, Dispare, and Failure/Death Are embelished and coloured red. The focasing on the negative side of all of his prophesies. In the bible does it not speak of "The war to end all wars" ? Word War III ?! A picture posed in the documentary that really caught my eye was when they spoke of the Book of Life being empty "It's the end, the time line no longer has hands, and the book of life, which originally has writing, is now blank, is the world coming to an end?" Now based on my better judgement, I spat in the direction of my TV. The book of life had written in it, all of man's mistakes, AND all of man's triumphs. So prehaps the book of life being blank, says to us that all of our failures are being erased, and we are to start over, a New beginning. A chance to NOT make these mistakes again. You all are right. Nothing lasts forever. Not even our world. I dunno if anything I just said made sense. I just hope you pick out a moral to my story, because there was a good chance I didn't have one. wink

Personally, I don't have a reason to believe in this entire 2012 hype because I have no reason to. Planet X theories, sun spots, galactic shifts, I can't see any of that actually possibly happening. There doesn't seem to be any supporting evidence to 2012 for me so I can't say I would believe it.
Than again, anything could happen. I just think it's another Y2K moment in our lives once again. I guess we will see when it happens. No point in arguing about something that can easily be disproven or proven with a little time and patience.

CEM? The ******** is that? Earth has been throught alot, and we will continue. The world will end only after we nuke the s**t out of each other so many times the Earth just... Breaks. Humanity loves to kill, its a greedy power hungry b***h. We are the end of ourselves, not some bullshit "Gods" or "Prophecies" The Mayans didn't even have half the tech we do nowadays. How the hell can ANYONE understand when the world will end; oh yeah thats righ, we can't. You give Atheists, such as myself, a bad name. Being Atheist isn't a bad thing. However, you might as well be the die-hard Christian type if your going to try and push your beliefs onto other theists. If you want a compelling argument, use something besides personal beliefs. Just my two cents.

Dalcain Anything can happen. And a huge calendar that has been 98% correct (only 100 when December 21 comes in the next two years and something happens) about worldly seasonal events is pretty convincing to me, but as for the world ending...maybe, maybe not. Though that day could be the day that all days become the same as seen now. Day and night are just as cold or just as hot. Could be the next proclaimed Ice Age. And in a way Lucifer/Satan was/were a force for good but only that they test out freewill and willpower, etc. This would give way to our ability to accomplish greater good and no greater evil if the universe is truly controlled by a sentient force (which is completely possible as evident with us and the other things that live because of a group of atoms and such). Pfft the Nwo will probally happen before the end does.Addleast end of the world....

If you chose the left or right, of course it will be silly. The world gets into troubles many times causing catastrophic problems. However, we also have thousands of little theories we make everyday that turns out to be BS.
So, of course the world has the possibility of extinction. The only problem is that we aren't really giving it as much credit as we should.

i thought it would make more sense to at least wait until the results of the 2012 election... so tack on at least 11 months to that...
like I always say, whether the world ends depends on who and where you are. If you were living in a terror zone, a mexican drug town, or a tornado belt, for you, the world ended. Just ask the Fukushima farmers...
