Midori had the aducidty to actually yawn as the flaming dragon closed in on her. Judging by the density of the chakra and the speed which it was heading towards her she wasn't in any real danger. The protective seals she had sown into her clothing could easily handle an attack of this level, or she could easily dodge it or deal with in an any number of ways.

Instead she reached out a hand, which seemed to be sheathed in an aura of white flames and caught the flaming dragon by the snout stopping it dead in it's tracks. A lessor ninja might have been pushed back by the momentum but she didn't even seem to flinch as she clenched her hand into a fist, causing the flames to snuff out of existance.

"Lesson one for today." Midori said as she used her other arm to causaully backhand the sword flying towards her sending it spinning end over end until it hit the wall, embedding the blade just enough that it would probally take a little bit of effort to pull it out.

"Use your chakra wisely. That was a good try but as things stand you only have the capacity to use it a few times before exhausting yourself. When fighting against a stronger foe you can NOT afford to waste energy if you want to survive, let alone win." She said giving him a chance to recover his sword.

Slowly she drew a boomerang from her sleeve then casually tossed it an Anikru at about a quarter of it's usually speed and strength. She had to hold back by at least that much to give him a sporting chance. While it looked like a normal boomerang, On impact it would emit a loud flash bang, aimed at further disorantating a foe.

Unknown to Anikuru their was a second boomerang hidden in the shadow of the first. The only difference was this one had no tricks installed at all. It was just a test to see his reaction time.

Anikuru quickly threw a kunai at the boomerang, caausing it to go off. "What?" Anikuru asked himself, a bit disoriented. While, grabbing for another kunai, he noticed the boomerang inches away. Trying to escape, he started to dodge, but tripped. "Every time," he said to himself. The boomerang hit him straight in the stomach. He slowly stood up, his stomach now hurting. Anikuru performed the required hand signs, then shouted, "Physcic wave justsu!" Purple waves shot out of his hands. "This water will make you dizzy, possibly fall asleep, and maybe hipnotize," Anikuru explained.

Midori nodded slightly satisfied with the results of her test. Anikuru's reaction time was just about what she would expect it to be for someone on the cusp of earning their first headband.

However she sighed as he actually began to explain his next attack. She could have used a jutsu but decided to save her energy and use one of her many many tools instead. With a flick of her right wrist a taser slid into her right hand.

Taking quick aim at the waves of water rushing towards her Midori smirked as she pulled the trigger sending two dart like electroids straight into the murky depths which would release an electroshock surge strong enough to stun Anikuru.

Normally she'd have to hit him directly for this to work, but since water conducted electricity and Anikuru was connected to the water through his hands she didn't have to.

"Lesson two. Never Explain the effect of your jutsu in the heat of battle."

Anikuru stood there, eyes wide, stunned. "She's strong. I'm glad she's my teacher," Anikuru muttered to himself. Anikuru suddenly collapsed out of pain. "That tazor really got me," he thought. "I won't be able to win. I'm exahausted, too. I might as well give up. No, I can't give up. I'll just have to try even harder." Anikuru slowly stood up, still in a lot of pain. He moved his hand to draw his sword, but pain stopped him. "Augh!" he shouted. "Wait, I feel different," he said. He looked up at Midori. His kekkie ghenkai had awakened.

Midori could hear Anikuru's muttering and allowed herself to smirk slightly.
"Now do you understand who...no what you're dealing with?" She asked as she stood back allowing him the time to get back on his feet.

Only when he told her to wait she she sprung foward and tried to punch him in the gut, not hard enough to cause serious damage, but enough to knock the wind out of him if it connected. It was a mean, spiteful thing to do but it was necessary so that Anikuru would be able to learn his lesson.

"Lesson 3: In the field you can't simply ask your enemy to wait and expect them to follow suit." She said. She was holding back on him, she had to in order not to kill him, but that said she was only willing to hold back so far. He needed to face reality if he was going to survive under real world conditions.

"You have the raw power to make it as a gennin. But the question is do you have the brains? If I give you a headband will you be the type to excell or the type to get themselves foolishly killed early on?" She said as she opened her hand, dangling a freshly minted headband which had yet to be personalized from it.

"If you want to become more then an academy student. If you truly wish to have your revenge then prove yourself to me and take this headband from me... That is if you can..." She said with an evil smile on her face for good effect.

There was no way that even holding back that Anikuru could actually beat her, let alone seriously harm her in a fight. But If all he had to do was take something from her he something of a chance. At least if he was clever enough anyhow.

Anikuru thrust his hand outward, using his kekkie ghenkai to send Midori fkying into a wall. He then lifted Midori up in mid-air. "This Kekkie Ghenkai is quite usefull," Anikuru said. He then weakened Midori's grasp on the headband, and made her neck be squeezed. Anikuru walked over and grabbed the headband. "Its not that I don't have brains, I just haven't fought in a while. I'm slowly remembering some of my old tactics. I'm used to stealing. That's the only way I can eat," Anikuru said.

ooc: You post is considered god modding because you automatically hit my character and effected her.

Note that my character is an S-Rank former Kage while yours is an Academy student/Gennin. Realistically speaking they are so far apart in reaction times and power levels that he would not be able to do what he did in your post.

Notice that despite this power gap I still say that My character is TRYING to hit yours most of the time rather then outright saying that she actually succeeded in order to give you a chance to negate that action.

IC:

Midori had only been playing with Anikuru and thus was caught off guard as he launched a telekinetic assault throwing her towards the wall. She smirked pleased that he had been able to hit her at all and decided to play along.

Their where numerious ways in which she could have avoided actually hitting the wall but instead she used a hand seal less wind jutsu to cushion the blow.

When Anikuru suspended her in mid-air and then squeezed her neck to try and make her helpless she had to fight to stop herself from rolling her eyes and revealing her deception. While he thought he had "caught" her the truth was she could easily escape at her whim, but better to save that for the juiciest moment.

When Anikuru took the headband from her and then gave his little speech she smirked. "Look more closely..." She said and in that moment her form blured and then vanished as she used a high level body flicker jutsu to instantly move outside.

If Anikuru looked down at the headband in his hands he would find that instead of a metal plate a paper with the words "try again." had been sown onto the cloth. Midori had used the moment when she had hit the wall to switch out the real one for a fake.

"If you have the element of surprise better to capitalize on it rather then show off. That might have worked had you simply taken the headband from me right away rather then tossing me." She told him from just outside the door frame revealing her location.

Not part of the RP: I am so sorry. I now know what god modding is. I would never want to do something like that. I hope that you can forgive me. Should I go back and edit it?

ooc: It's ok, your new at this so I don't expect you to know all the rules and etiquette right away

at this point it's best just to leave your post like it was and just roll forward with it. I know I don't want to have to go back and edit my last post lol

ooc (I'm not sure what ooc stands for, so I'll just pretend that it means owl or clam): Okay, thanks for understanding.
Anikuru stared at Midori. It may have seemed weird, but he was reading her mind.

ooc stands for Out of character.

Ic:

What Anikuru say in Midori's mind might scar him forever. She was used to living around ninja that could read minds (such as Falta) and had placed some high level barriers to protect herself.

His intrusion had tripped those barriers and so rather then being shown what she was currently thinking he was deliberately shown some of the deepest, darkest corners.

He would see the ruins of Hidden towns, the stench of death was paupible in the air. The ground was covered in a sea of blood and countless bodies where scattered around in varying states of decay. Many wore the headbands of various villages but more still where clearly civilians of all shapes and sizes. Every race, creed and age including children.

All of them where people Midori had killed either directly or indirectly by the cause of her actions. The participants of the Chunnin exam massacre which she had slaughtered and the two team mates she had lost because of her failure. The many targets of her assignation missions over the years, The Arurm runners the winners of two Cell wars which had been lost due to her absence, Most of hidden towns which it had been destroyed in the war since she wasn't a good enough kage and most damning of all all the people who had died because she had killed a doctor who held the cure for the common flu.

Midori wasn't a a small time serial killer. She was a psychotic mass murder with a tally to could put entire wars to shame. A monster equally as bad as those she fought due to the volume of blood on her hands, a being who brought death to anything and everything around her.

The sound of laughter filled the air. Paradoxically both joyful and sorrowful at the same time. If Anikuru looked in that direction he would see a vision of Midori but not the version he knew. This one had entirely blue skin as she had transformed fully an arch angel of death as she stood over the bodies of everyone around her now who was still currently alive.

Flagenza, Falta, Rai, Kenji, Kuroi, Lamont and even her daughter Rose the only person that she could be said to truly love with all of her heart and soul. And somehow in her mind they where all dead because of HER. That this would be their inescapable fate for being close to her.

Turning to Anikuru Midori grinned a mad feral grin and stepped aside revealing that his body was also among the fallen. Prehaps now he would be able to understand just how dangerous and crazy the person he was dealing with was.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 28, 2010 12:22 pm

Anikuru quickly stopped reading Midori's mind. He stepped back one step. He was suprised that Midori would have that in her mind, but he was not scarred. "I don't get scarred. I've been called every name in the book, had shuriken inches away from my skull, and been punched and kicked thousands of times, all by people who I stole food from. None of those times I was scarred, though. The last time I was scarred was when i watched my own two parents die," Anikuru said. He then perormed several hand signs, threw one kunai in the air and yelled, "Thousand blade jutsu!" The kunai then multiplied to one thousand. All of the kunai started to transform into different blades. The various weapons made a bubble around Midori. If she were to count them all, she would find that there were less than one thousand blades. Anikuru had hidden some. That way if the bubble of blades missed, the secret ones might not. Even if Midori dodges all of the blades, one might strike the headband, causing Midori to release it. Then, Ankiuru could use his kekkie ghenkai to bring the headband to him. The bubble of blades, not the secret ones, flew at Midori at incredible speeds.

Midori actually had the audacity to yawn as the bubble of blades formed around her. "Is that all? I thought I warned you not to waste chakra." She asked rhetorically as she thought about the numerous ways she could deal with the various weapons.

Thought she didn't say it, she was actually mildly impressed that an academy student was capable of pulling this off with out knocking himself out from chakra exhaustion due to the scale of the move. "He's got the combat ability, but he's so reckless. How do I fix that?" She thought to herself unsure what to having little experience actually teaching others. Her last apprentice Yuki had not lasted long before leaving her.

As the blades approached her she grinned as suddenly a 360 pulse of pure wind chakra flew out from her body knocking them (but not the secret ones that had been held back) out of the air sending them clattering noisily to the ground. "Wind Style, Repulsion burst" She said in way of explication. Her hands handed even moved, but she did not need hand seals to preform that moves and many others thanks to her own bloodline.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 29, 2010 4:55 pm

"I'm almost out of chakra," Anikuru said. All of a sudden, the hidden blades flew out of the ground, several centimeters away from the headband. "Just kidding," Anikuru said, grinning. He then used his kekkie ghenkai to attempt to keep Midori from moving around.

Midori swore internally as the hidden blades flew out of seemingly nowhere and actually managed to knock the headband out of her hands. She could have grabbed it again but figured that Anikuru had done enough to earn it since he had managed to catch her by surprise for the second time.

The only problem is that the blade that had knocked it out her her hand had also nicked her finger and was now coated with a small amount of blood which was more dark purplish black then red due to it's toxicity. Their was no known antidote for it, and only an extremly skilled med-nin could possible extract it in time. If Anikuru touched it he would be dead long before she could get help.

"Well congulations.... Gennin. But don't think this means that your training is over. Rather it has only just begun. Are you ready to go on a mission with me. They start kind of boring but they serve a purpose by allowing you to practice basic skills while earning a bit of pocket money." She explained as she tried to retrieve the poison coated blade with out him noticing.
